From the outset, Jose provided a reasonable quote and was exceptionally clear in explaining the project scope and process. The final result was stunning. The attention to detail was remarkable, ensuring both safety and aesthetic appeal. The stairs are not only functional but also a beautiful addition to our property. I am thoroughly pleased with the quality of work and wholeheartedly recommend Jose and his team for any construction needs.

I hired Lemus Construction to repair the extensive dry rot and termite damage on the front side of…read moremy home. This involved tearing down stucco on two floors, replacing the damaged wood, installing new windows, adding insulation, and generally rebuilding the front side of my home to code. Jose was helpful every step of the way. The estimate was fair and the project did not stray from the original estimate. They passed every inspection without any issues and were clearly familiar with the permitting process in SF. They proactively identified issues with my new roof installation and replacement windows. Addressing these issues delayed the project, but ensured that the work they were doing wouldn't be compromised. There was also an area of damage that was not identifiable until the walls were torn down. Luckily, Jose had warned me ahead of time that this was possible, and the change order was reasonable. All the workers were respectful when entering my home and knowledgable in their craft. I asked many questions along the way and they took the time to help address any concerns I had. Thank you to Johnny and Zen who handled the carpentry work and Mariano and Benjamin who handled the painting! I would not hesitate to hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone considering a similar project.

They…read moreimpressed, whether it was with the handling of inspections and inspectors, the transparency with financials, or the simply trade itself, John Shaw and his team were always on top of our renovation. Professional, respectful, and highly communicative, he was always there whenever we needed him, by text, phone, or in person, if we needed reassurance, advice or progress reports he always seemed to be right on the ball. It's hard to communicate just how important this is to keep the blood pressure down while undertaking something as life altering as a major home renovation, but we always felt Fahan had it under control. Our project was completed on schedule, 7 months to do a new kitchen, master bath, staircase installation, family room and deck, plus electrical and lots of small detail work around the house. Seven months is really something considering how easily big renovations like ours can go off the rails. Horror stories abound, and we, quite literally, had none. What a huge relief. In terms of costs, Fahan was transparent and upfront with us. They estimated and invoiced all expected and unexpected costs up front, and clearly stated any potential overruns. There were some, but none that we felt were from left field, and for each one we were given options to keep in line with what we were comfortable with. We understood and signed off on everything before anything moved forward, with a comforting degree of transparency. The only downside we could see was that the pricing tended to be high. It's not entirely clear however if this was due to the current economic conditions of '22-'23 or if it's just what quality work and workmanship costs. But as they say, you get what you pay for. Overall, we felt well-taken care of throughout the process, like there was an insider who knew the business, the pitfalls and the tricks. "I trust them", were words we uttered more than once. Most of the time we weren't even at the house, only catching up on the progress on weekends, but we always knew that the work would get done and with little to no issues along the way. THe house turned out amazing. We really couldn't be happier with the work they did. Fahan's just a quality outfit, contractors and subs, that you should trust with your house too. Just top-shelf all the way. Two thumbs up.

We hired Fahan for a number of projects at our home in the Outer Sunset of San Francisco: building a new deck, extending power and plumbing to the back yard, replacing our leaky roof, providing access to the new deck from our bedroom and a number of other misc projects inside our home. All of these projects were completed on time and with superb quality. John was incredibly friendly, professional and responsive throughout the whole process. He was extremely thorough: from working with the architect to co-ordinating with all the inspectors, to introducing us to all the members on his team and what we could expect from them on a regular basis. He managed the whole project effectively by providing us with timely quotes, invoices and being diligent about addressing any follow up questions we had. If there were any unforeseen issues with the weather or supply chain issues, John kept us informed and worked around each of these issues while keeping the project on time. Every single day, his team would show up on time and work diligently while keeping us posted if they needed anything. When we wanted something updated or changed, they obliged us immediately. What was particularly impressive is that they pulled off a number of different projects working across 3-4 different groups of people! I will definitely miss them around our home. And will reach out to them we need anything built or fixed moving forward.

I left either a voicemail or a message on Edri's website (can't remember) and they called me back the same day and our Project Manager, Isaac, came out soon thereafter to check things out and start the estimate process. Isaac gave me the estimate exactly when he said they would, and at this point I had a feeling we would be in good hands because the communication and follow-up were all on point. Our house needed new fascia and soffits and a new balcony cap, and after seeing a few houses with natural wood soffits, I wanted to change the plan from matching the existing painted soffits. This was no problem for Edri and they helped select a beautiful cedar wood and brought the vision to life. The work went pretty much as planned with some minor delays for expected things--weather, etc. No nightmares where the work gets behind and you have no idea when it will be done. Communication was so great and everyone who worked on our house was professional and friendly. They even arranged to take their lunch breaks when our kid had her nap. Isaac would come out at the end of major milestones to inspect the work with me and make sure I was happy. Minor issues I found were addressed with no hassle. We were so happy working with Isaac and the crew that we asked them if they could add on several additional projects, which they happily did. The quality of the work is very good, and we have gotten compliments from many neighbors. I could not be happier with how it turned out myself. Thank you, Isaac and crew!

I would consider this a challenging project as we had limited space to work with and wanted to build in more counter/cabinet space while also adding in a dishwasher and replacing other appliances. This required new electrical and plumbing. The team was unfazed by the scope and was ready to start following week. From the outset, the process was highly organized making decisions simple and hands-off as possible for us. They immediately sought out all required permits while keeping us informed on the important details only and handling all the permitting minutia themselves. David and his team completed every aspect of the job with pride and precision. The team were true masters in their trades and completed all parts of the job from plumbing electrical drywall appliance installation tiling - everything from start to finish. They were also friendly and took extreme care to protect all common areas. The kitchen came out great with any instance where we had a follow up adjustment, they always took the time to fix it until we were happy. Communication was outstanding. On top of everything else, each interaction with this company was an absolute pleasure. Everyone who worked on our kitchen obviously took tremendous pride in their work from demolition to completion. We Would highly recommend Edri Constucion for a top-notch kitchen remodel.

He is so organized, communicative, thorough, knowledgeable and professional! We thought it was just how contractors usually are in the beginning and once they get the job, the lack of communication and professionalism is out the door. We also felt the cost John quoted us was very fair because we have gotten quotes from several others. The price John gave along with his quick responses and walking us through what is best for our house and pockets. We of course picked him. We actually delayed their team because of some issues and John was so patient and helpful. He even had to step in and advocate for us for a different part of the house that someone we hired didn't do correctly. We can't thank John and his team enough. We are forever grateful! It's everything around that which was challenging. When they originally came to scope the project out we explicitly talked about some extra things - but then at the end of the job they said they actually weren't in scope and wanted me to pay extra. Then, when I held back on paying the final bill until that was resolved, they unwarned put a mechanic's lien on our house. Also I'm nervous about their billing setup generally - it got hacked last year and I almost got scammed out of $11k. And during the job itself, they had to take the crew off of our job for an "emergency" somewhere else, leaving a big gap where there wasn't any progress while we had an active construction site at our house. I understand some level of scheduling issues but this was really frustrating. So overall, I'd say all of this put a really bad taste in my mouth, and I'd be really torn on whether to work with them again. The work was tremendous but I can live without surprise interruptions and liens on my house.
