Curls are springier but my hair looks and feels a lot thinner than it did before I cut it. I don't like how I still have a short, triangular top layer with a bottom layer that goes inward, giving it a mushroom-like appearance. The right side of my hair is not only thin to the point where I can see through my layer, it's noticeably shorter than the left. I regret getting a deva cut because I'll now need to spend twice the time growing it out in hopes of fixing my hair and re-trimming/cutting it. We both wore masks for the duration of the appointment. I described what I wanted and showed her a photo, and she matched it EXACTLY. First, she performed a beautiful dry cut with a round, super layered shape. I was excited to get washed using Olaplex products for the first time ever. She styled using multiple products to form a cast. I went under the dryer and diffuse, and voila! Shiny, healthy, layered, elongated curls! She helped me wrap my hair because (my luck) it was storming the day of my cut. I woke up the next morning and decided to do a quick restyle after dealing with the weather! Well.. HOLY. COW. All I did was re-wet and diffuse upside down, and the round, voluminous cut came alive. The layering is so perfect that the cut revitalized my curls! The day that I had my hair done, Princess brought her to the sinks so she could test out whether or not she would be able to withstand the hair washing/ rinsing process. She left that day feeling hopeful. She had her hair relaxed today and she left feeling absolutely pleased and pain-free.
