Read my other reviews. I'm not a very positive person. Came to Posh because I was in dire need of a haircut. I had a free afternoon and they could take me as long as I hustled over. Nellie talked with me in advance and checked in with me along the ride. I felt like she understood me and didn't make me feel bad about not coloring my grays. Owner was friendly and it seemed like there were many regular customers. Two months later and my husband is still complimenting my cut. This place was amazing. One of the only salons willing to accommodate my family for blowouts and make up for a wedding. The staff was amazing and so friendly salon was spotless. Each of us loved our hair from our youngest at 17 to our oldest at 55. The makeup artist was unbelievable!!! Highly recommend for any event in the area. read more

I found Posh on Yelp and read the positive reviews. I was in town for a friend's wedding earlier this month and needed to get my hair and makeup done. I also recruited three other girls from the bridal party to make appointments. We were all pleased with Posh's relaxed atmosphere. The stylist who did my hair and makeup, Francesca, was wonderful. I gave her free reign over my hair. I only had to tell her that I wanted it up and out of my face. She did a phenomenal job. She curled my hair and pulled it up and off to the side. It looked amazing and never came undone at the wedding. For makeup, I asked for a light smokey eye. And I all I can say is wow. She really did a terrific job. Made my eyes pop :) My makeup never smudged and the mascara did not run. Francesca took her time and made sure I was pleased with my hair style and makeup. I never felt rushed. She is extremely talented and I couldn't have asked for a better salon experience. I got a lot of compliments on both hair and makeup. I would recommend this salon to anyone. read more

Posh salon is absolutely amazing. I go to Joni for my cut & color every few months, and fall in love every time. She is so talented; her technique is amazing. My hair had been dried out & in bad shape from chlorine for months... when I went to Joni, she immediately put a mask in my hair, and my hair is now better and stronger than ever. I am so impressed. Not only is Joni amazing, but I hear nothing but great things about the rest of the staff at Posh. I've gotten 1 manicure from Amy, and she's amazing. She leaves your nails feeling refreshed and beautiful. My gel manicure from her has lasted longer than anyone else's. I HIGHLY recommend Posh. I refuse to go to another salon. read more

I found Posh through Yelp, after a different stylist decided to color my hair whatever color she wanted, not the color I requested. Francesca saved my hair and returned me back to blonde. Francesca also styled my hair for my wedding and it stayed perfect the whole day, I didn't have to fix it or fuss all day. Jessica did a great job on my make-up. I also didn't have to fix or touch-up my make-up at all. My whole bridal party was happy with the service they received and everyone looked great all day! Thanks so much! read more

This salon was very nice. Classy. Tasteful. I walked in here on a whim. I was in the area shopping. At first I felt like it was all women and I didn't fit in at all. This is the only salon I will get a haircut in from now on. As a matter of fact, anything having to do with hair, I get done here. Posh Salon is located next to Barth's Pharmacy, directly in the village of Westhampton Beach. This location was orginially La Mirage Salon, which I also loved, and was mourning the closing of. However, I cannot say enough about Posh. I have curly, crazy hair that takes a lot of effort to be tamed. The one stylist I have used over and over again, Gloria, is fantastic. She is one of those rare stylists that actually LISTENS to what you say - so, if you say, I'm trying to grow my hair out and just want the dead ends off, that's what she does. She also does it so that my curly hair falls attractively and is managable. She has also transformed me from a reddish blonde to auburn, and the hair color always comes out fantastic. Everyone thinks it's my natural hair. I just went there to get a color correction (trying to go back to my natural color, blonde!) and another stylist, Francesca, gave me highlights. Again, came out absolutely gorgeous. I am going there soon for a brazilian blowout with Francesca, and I have no doubt it will be equally fantastic! I had a really good experience today with Joni. I come out East every weekend and work long hours in the city, so I can't get my hair done in Manhattan in the summer months. Plus I'm a brunette with some gray, which means depending on the colorist, I can end up too dark, too red, or too blonde with fake looking highlights. Joni listened to everything I had to say and when she was done, my hair looked totally natural, healthy, shiny, with some subtle highlights and no signs of gray. I love my hair. Recently went to Posh for the first time. Their pamphlet lists prices for haircuts from $45.00 to $65.00 depending on whether you were seen by a stylist, senior stylist or a designer. I was given an appointment with a "designer". I told her I wanted something different. Some layers, some movement, some style especially the sides which always seem to hang straight. Well long story short, I left with the same exact haircut I came in with. She just trimmed what I already had. Very disappointed ! I certainly won"t be going back again. read more

I will start by saying that I got married last weekend and scheduled for all of my girls and myself to get our hair/makeup done here. Everyone's hair looked fantastic, however I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS SALON AGAIN! While our hair looked great, my makeup was HORRIFIC. I asked for subtle green/gold tones and got thick eyeliner, fake eyelashes, penciled in eyebrows, smokey eyes and foundation that was well over 2 shades darker than my natural skin tone / neck. I WAS FURIOUS! I commented several times that it was too much and the woman's response was, "Oh baby, you look beautiful!" Fine, whatever, it's my wedding day and I"m not going to fight over this, I'm just going to go home, wash my face, and do all my makeup myself which is what I did. The worst part, however was the outrageous prices. When we called to make the appointments we were quoted at $45 for blowout/style, $65 for up-dos and $45 for makeup. They asked for 50% deposit (which was annoying because they wanted it for everyone on 1 credit card) using these prices. When we checked out, I was told that all of the blow outs would be $50 and the updos $75. I was upset, but the girls just wanted to pay and leave so we did. Then, I was quoted at $250 for me alone! I lost it and asked for the breakdown. They charged me $125 for my hair, $15 for waxing my eyebrows (which I did NOT ask her to do, she just did it before my makeup and I assumed that it was part of the price) $25 for fake eyelashes (which I did NOT ask for either and promptly ripped off because I looked like a drag queen!) and then $85 for makeup. THOSE PRICES ARE NOT ONLY INSANE, BUT NO WHERE NEAR WHAT WAS QUOTED! They told me that they spend more time on the bride, so it costs more. I will NEVER set foot in that place again; I feel robbed! Overall, I spent $250 to have my hair curled and eyebrows waxed. I can't express how angry I am in this review, so I'll end it here. Bottom line: make sure you have your prices in writing and ask if there is an additional cost for ANYTHING they may do read more

I've been going to Posh (religiously) every two weeks for a gel manicure for the past few months now and my nails have never looked better. Amy really takes her time making sure that your nails are perfect before you leave. My nails are finally long and healthy thanks to her! First of all I waited years for someone with that "MAGIC" touch when it comes to color and cuts. When I first went to Marion my hair was in really bad shape from bad hair salons doing what they liked instead of what I liked. I will NEVER EVER go anyplace else now, Marion has not only saved my hair to the point of looking and feeling ten years younger but my entire self esteem is fantastic! I love the salon, it's clean, pleasant, great products and the staff is wonderful! My 2 daughters go to Marion as well and I highly recommend this place and I will be spreading the word about this gem of a salon. I ALWAY look forward to my next visit, I could just hangout there all day because I find it such a relaxing and fun atmosphere. You won't be disappointed with POSH and all who work there.
