She covered my grey roots well, but then colored the hair that wasn't grey and it turned brassy warm orangey which was what I specifically said I didn't want to happen. I brought this up again when she started doing those areas as I didn't need the hair not grey colored, and she assured me that wouldn't happen. Well, it did! I was also surprised she didn't even dry an area of hair before I did it myself to show and see the color. I've never not had a stylist do that. She also never came over once I dried it to see how the color was. She was sitting in the rear room chatting with staff when I left. I won't be returning.

Incredibly expensive and disappointing. I went into the…read morebarbershop this morning. It was very clean and modern place with many chairs. There was one barber in and I sat in her chair. I not going to mention her name, I'm bald and I needed a trim to my head and beard. The barber said would you like zero? I said no, I want to the skin. Which to my calculations that's using a razor. The barber used the normal cutting tools except not what I originally asked for. She did use a razor on the back of my neck. When she was finished the total was $60.00. Thought that was very excessive, I didn't say anything because someone else came in. I paid it and gave her a tip and left. After about an hour I realized there was hair on top of my head, hair on my neck and under my chin. I understand this is the Hamptons and you pay accordingly. Except this wasn't Main Street, this was Montauk highway. Your typical shopping center with your basic stores you would expect in a little shopping center. The bottom line if you want to be paid a premium price, the consumer should receive a premium hair cut as well. Instead I feel I was ripped off and wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone.

My visits there did not prepare me for the new Blue Water Spa in Southampton! Luxurious, yes, quaint, no, but the vibes were relaxation, and very much the Hamptons. Soft music plays and you're offered a water, sparkling or plain, coffee or tea as you check in. A glass of Prosecco would have made the experience perfect and the price of my massage would have definitely covered it. The massage, deep tissue, was to offset, I hoped, some lower back problems I've been having and my masseuse, sorry, forgot her name, was excellent. She listened and learned, and tackled the area causing the pain. Between the manipulation and the excellent choice of soothing zen-like music, by the time I got up, I was feeling perfectly dreamy!...in fact, i think i fell asleep once or twice on the table. As to the price, i think it's high for an hour massage, but by the time we were done, I felt it was worth it...and it's the Hamptons, after all.
