Came in for a mani/pedi with Amanda and left feeling like a brand new woman! After 5 months without some true love and care to my nails due to COVID I was in dire need of a spa session and Blow did not disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised by the prices, which were on par with that of NYC, and the salon was conveniently located, spacious, striking and clean!!! The boutique inside was a treat, with a nice variety of curated items. My aesthetician, Amanda, not only did an amazing job on my nails but chatted me up the entire time, which I loved!! Considering there are little to no blow out or full service salons in the Hamptons, the women at Blow could be terrible and slow service and still get good business here. But! They are so great! Efficient, friendly, attentive and skilled. I went in not knowing what to expect prices-wise too but was pleasantly surprised. I scheduled an updo about a month in advance for my friends wedding - I got a high ponytail, and I had them put in the clip in extensions I own (cashmere hair). I was a bit bummed this was the same price as way more complicated up do (up do are $70) and that no one told me that it was an additional charge for $25 when booking the appointment. The hair only took 45 minutes but despite this, I was happy and they did a good job. Briana was my stylist and she does makeup too. Still not terrible for the Hamptons. My other friends got hair and makeup done here for our friends wedding and everyone looked gorgeous and had positive things to say. I would come here again. Makeup is $95 for a full face and glam look. I think they also offer airbrush but it's pricier. Salon is a bit small but very clean and organized. I would recommend definitely booking anything you need well in advance. They're closed Sunday and operating on a limited basis during off season. read more

Rather than being a typical Hamptons snotty salon, everyone was welcoming, the service was fantastic and they even had an adorable boutique inside the styling area. Highly recommend. A total waste of time. Scheduled a blow out with an extra 10 minute head massage for 4:30pm. Arrived on time, and was told my appointment was at 4:45pm because someone before me was getting color. Why wasn't i called? I had a dinner reservation to make so I asked how long the service would take. ( I have shoulder length hair). I was told 20 minutes. ??? Then, rather than being offered a seat, and perhaps a coffee, or water, I was told I could "go get a coffee". I left. I would never return. Those in the service industry need to learn how to deliver service. read more

The first time I cut my hair it looked fine. But this past time I went to Oscar and ask for a inch or two off and then to touch up my long layers. Well now it looks like a three year old cut my hair. It is so badHe also just was so stale the whole time. read more

A few of my friends and I recently went to Blow Hampton, and most of us weren't happy with our results. The styles didn't hold, and we all had to either re-touch or completely undo our styles within 2 hours. I specifically asked not to look like Shirley Temple, but that's pretty much what I got. Also, a couple of us had stylists who continually pointed the hairdryer directly into our faces! I should have said something at the time... I might try them again, but this time I would only get a straight blowout, nothing with curls. Plus, that would save me the additional $10 charge. I will say that the women working there were very friendly, and the updo's managed to hold up throughout the day and evening. read more

Wish I could give 0 stars...first off my stylist looked miserable to be there and wouldn't start a conversation with me. Then I asked for a haircut with very natural looking long layers. They were not natural looking at all...the front was longer than the back and my hair looks like it was cut into two sections straight across. A week after I left my review for Blow in East Hampton the manager Sherry called me apologizing for my bad experience. I'm assuming the original hair dresser that did the job never told anyone I called & was upset. Luckily they saw my review and Sherry was very nice and quickly offered for me to come back in and get if fixed for a heavily reduced price. She said she was appalled by my review and that's not how they take care of their clients. She seemed really sincere & I really appreciated her calling me back so I just went today at their bridgehampton location. It was a much different expierence! All the girls were really sweet and Mary did my hair this time. I showed her what I liked and she achieved the color perfectly! I greatly appreciated her taking the time to give me the look I wanted before. Everyone working that day was professional and the other girl Christina started helping Mary blow it out at the end also. I'm so glad I went back and got it fixed. I will be going back to Mary while I'm living here for touch ups! :-) She was great! I highly recommend her for you blondies!! read more

I love BLOW. My hair always looks great, I can usually walk in without an appointment and they are very accommodating if that can take me and best of all they let me bring my little dog with me. The staff is always very sweet and I think BLOW has been a great addition to the neighborhood. read more

This is the first yelp review I have ever written and feel compelled to warn people not to waste their money here. This was THE worst blowout I have ever had. They barely washed my hair. The roots were still wet. The end result was a frizzy dry mess. They then used a curling iron and charged me $10 extra. I have had 100's of blowouts and this was by far the worst. read more

The blowouts here are about 50/50. 50% of the time they are great. the other 50 Meh--but they recently got rid of online booking?? it's 2017 isn't everyone moving IN that direction?Not away from it?? The girl on the phone told me that it was "too much of a halssle for them and the customers" oooooook. Also every time I call East Hampton, it gets routed to Bridgehampton. But they dont tell you that. So you spend the first portion of the call asking for appt times and she is looking in the BH calendar. I most likely won't be returning to a place that can't get their acts together enough to manage online booking. There is a new blow out studio, Glam&Go opening on Newtown next week which has booking via their app that I use in the city. I'll be going there exclusively. read more

I've been coming here with my daughters for a few years already. Whenever we spend a week or two out here in East Hampton we always head over to Blow at least a few times a week to refresh. All the stylists have been professional and super sweet. It's a great place to go when you want to look your best. Don't underestimate it because it's a small town establishment - they're just as good as NYC -in season or off! read more

Cannot say enough good things about this business. Have been a regular since 2014 and it just gets better with every visit. Always welcoming, extremely professional and most importantly I always love how my hair looks when I leave. The prices are beyond reasonable. I usually am with the amazing color queen herself Bryanna, but have been very happy with my visits with Tabitha and Monique also. These girls do a great job and it's always a lovely atmosphere. The opening hours are also a huge plus for someone who works long hours in season...being able to get in at 9am is something I really appreciate. I had the absolute worst experience today-the middle of November! My experience was similar to Laura M.--I had a 4:30 appt and when I arrived was told it would be about 15 minutes as she still had another haircut-no problem. I left and came back and the stylist was working on the hair of a young (12 year old) girl. It was 5:25 before I was taken. I almost felt it was deliberate--she was chatting with the girl and her mother, etc. At 5:15 I asked if it would be yet another 15 min and was told no. My blowout was terrible--when done it was still very damp so she took the dryer back underneath-what should have been a fun pick me up for a cold day was frustrating. I could have stayed home and worked for another hour if Justine had just called to say she was running very late. I came home and dried it again myself. I have had great blowouts in Bridgehampton from Sarah and Gina--and will go the extra few miles the next time even though I live in East Hampton. A far cry from the Dry Bar! read more
