Imperial is a Dominican Bakery which seems to make cakes for any occasion and theme. It was my Dad's birthday and we're only a family of five so I didn't need anything special in terms of design I just needed a good Tres Leches cake since it's his favorite. I ordered the cake over the phone on Sunday, their smallest size was for about 10 people for $28 so not bad in price. I specifically ordered with a pickup time at 12pm but they claim to have heard 2pm which was not a big problem because it was only a 5 minute drive from my house. When I finally got to pick it up, the cake was regularly decorated with white and blue and added silver sugar beads on top which was a nice touch. The size of the cake was much bigger than expected and would easily serve about 15 people. The cake is not great and not horrible, it's tolerable but not for more than one slice as it is very sweet. I have tried many Tres Leches cakes and this one was just over the top sweet. Also, some leaking is expected but this one just leaked endlessly which was not something I experienced from other cakes. I probably will be ordering from here again because of the convenient location and price but if you do just remember to express that you do not want your cake to sweet or wet.
