I have been going to Val Vista Vision for over 10 Year's and have never been disappointed. They definitely follow their mission, as they helped me feel comfortable while getting my eyes healthy. From the moment I walked in the door,I was greeted by a team of trained professionals. Sue Oram is very skilled as the contact specialist. Dr Stacey Eskew has a calm and caring client to doctor relationship. She listens to your concerns and situations. I recommend Val Vista Vision to all family and friends. read more

Dr. Staley provided the perfect prescription for my eyes. I've never seen better, and I have really bad eyes. My contacts are amazing and comfortable and I will continue to order through Val Vista vision. Dr. Staley wouldn't stop until my contacts were perfect. read more

I have been coming to this office for many years. I started when they were near Gilbert and Baseline. You won't find better doctors anywhere! They explain everything thoroughly and compare your results to previous years. I feel that they sincerely care about your total health and well being. The service is fantastic and I would recommend this team to everyone. read more

Would highly recommend Val Vista Vision. We have a family full of eye problems so I wanted to take my six year old boy in who has been complaining of headaches after school. I took him in and was warmly greeted by the front office person. They quickly brought my son back and started doing some tests with him. I could tell that our tech/optician wasn't very experienced and that is my only complaint...I feel like she needed someone watching her and helping her when needed. But then our optometrist came in and she was so great with my son. They figured out his eyes were great and did not recommend glasses. From start to finish a very nice office and I will definitely be back with my other kiddos and wife. read more

I was referred to Dr. Cooley-Staley by my Opthamologist. I have post RK issues and damaged corneas. She is very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time and research on the best option for me. You can tell she has a passion for what she does. read more

Moved here from CA and was anxious to find a good Eye Dr that I can trust. I am very happy I decided to go to Val Vista Vision. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, the music is very soothing, and the office is extremely clean. Dr Eskew is phenomenal. I have really bad eyes, and she was very attentive and helpful. She answered all my questions, took her time with me, and I never felt uncomfortable, rushed, or pressured in anyway. I went to my CA Dr for over 5 years, but I can honestly say that my one visit at Val Vista Vision has already exceeded my likes of my previous Dr. read more

I'm a disabled vet and my money is limited. I called for an exam and it was $189.00 then 20% is still x3 time more than I paid somewhere else. This place is too expensive. read more

Would never go here again. They make you wait 30 min after you appointment. The assistants are not knowledgeable and not very friendly. It was the first and last time I will be going back. I do not recommend them for getting your eyes checked. read more

Lesson Learned: I wish I'd known sooner!! Their eye exam is NOT inclusive, the 1.5 hours I spent in the exam room apparently doesn't offer a full prescription. Unless you try on glasses for an additional $15 fee, they won't give you a full prescription which can be used elsewhere for ordering glasses. Bottom line, if you want to buy glasses through them, they're great and I previously gave a 5 star review. But if you want to take your prescription and shop around, you'll have to pay extra or have a second exam elsewhere. read more

After going to another optometrist for over 10 years, I didn't feel I was getting the personal attention I deserved. After hearing great things about Val Vista Vision, I decided to give it a try. My doctor was outstanding! She found an area of concern and scheduled a follow up exam a few months later just to be safe. Great attitudes - no pressure and personal attention! read more

Dr. Stacie Eskew was awesome! She gave me a thorough exam and a suggested a change in my presciption. She set up a program to deal with my dry eyes and gave me samples of the products I should use. She assured me that I do not have macular degeneration by showing me the film of the back of my eye (a previous doc had commented that I did). She explained everything she did and recommended. The office staff was friendly and accommodating. Laura, the optician, was so very helpful with choosing frames for both daily glasses and sunglasses. My family was back for annual visits at Val Vista Vision between June and July 2015. Every part of our visit was great from working with staff and seeing Dr. Cooley-Staley! One of us needed new contacts, was given samples to try before ordering a years supply, along with a follow-up appointment to see Dr Cooley-Staley before making that 1 year order. The team at Val Vista Vision is dedicated to ensuring they get your vision needs taken care of. The doctors spend as much time as needed ensuring that the eye prescription is the most accurate and appropriate for your vision requirements. The eye glass team follows up where the doctors leave off spending time finding and fitting you with the best vision solutions. For the first time ever I finally have a working prescription and properly fit glasses. Great customer service and team work Val Vista Vision! Thanks. read more

I've been going to Val Vista Vision Center (VVVC) for about 15 years. Friendly customer service and the fantastic Dr. Tina Cooley-Staley are the two main reasons I've stayed with VVVC. I moved here from Minnesota in 2014 and needed to find a new eye doctor. I found Val Vista Vision within a reasonable distance from my home and set an appointment with Dr. Tina Cooley-Staley, I will have to say it was the most thorough exam I have had since leaving my small town eye Dr. in South Dakota. I typically wear contact lenses 95% of the time but now am in need of a new pair of eyeglasses, so I went shopping for new glasses at different locations as my eye insurance changed to Eye Med and the last time I was in there Dr. Tina Cooley-Staley told me she didn't accept Eye Med. So I assumed my insurance wouldn't be accepted there for glasses so I went shopping elsewhere. When I called to get my prescription I was told that Dr. Tina Cooley-Staley didn't accept the insurance but other Dr.'s did and the office did so I could use it for my glasses. I was then introduced to Mandy, absolutely love her personality, told her I was looking for a Nike 56, she chuckled and said I would never let you leave the office in a 56, its way to big for your face. I then asked what do you mean, that is when she explained what the difference was in glass sizing in order to make sure you pick the right glasses, first I had ever heard about it. She then picked out some frames and said here, try these, the correct sizing for me was a 51, looked so much better! So now that I had been schooled and educated I went back shopping to make sure I was getting a decent over all price. Bottom line, are they a bit more expensive yes, however you get what you pay for. Mandy was extremely knowledgeable, yet has the I have know you forever personality. After going back out and price comparing I went back to Mandy as she proved to me she deserved the business over the bigger guys! So don't waste your precious time doing what I did, just let Mandy take care of you and you won't be disappointed! Very Satisfied Customer Paul PS: The only disappointment is I don't want to change eye doctors, so we need to convince Dr. Tina to accept Eye Med!! read more

Quite simply, this is my favorite business in Arizona, period. Dr. Cooley has established a ten star businsess, but I could only give them five. I've been going to Val Vista Vision exclusively for almost twenty years because the service, prices, and selection meets all of my expectations. The staff (Patricia, Andrea, Sue, to name a few) know me on a first name basis, and they've been part of the business for as long as I can remember. They provide a wide range of hours, have just moved to a new location on Boston St. in Gilbert, and generally have a selection of frames that include the latest styles. They were able to provide me with a great set of round frames that are now making a comeback, but are hard to find. I get compliments on these glasses on a regular basis. One more thing, they are very competitive on contact lenses. read more

Thank you Val Vista Vision. After posting a prior review Val Vista reached out to us to discuss the issues we had and they overcame all of them. The office staff and dr's are wonderful to work with and truly have your best interest at heart. I won't go into why we had the issues that we did since that was an internal company problem that they have since resolved. My husband had his eye examined again and is awaiting his new glasses. While there, I also set up my eye appointment, have since gone and I must say that the eye exam is very thorough. I found that my eyes were only slightly different and I didn't need to get new glasses. I decided to get new sunglasses instead and can't wait to receive them. read more
