Each bedroom had its own full bathroom which was perfect! There was even a half bath on the main floor by the kitchen. One bedroom had bunk beds, while another had a queen bed and the last room had a king size bed. The decor was updated and the kitchen was very nice with built in dishwasher and refrigerator. They even had a Wolf oven. The kitchen was totally stocked with all items anyone could want- cutlery, plates, silverware, cups, cooking supplies, etc. The patio wasn't overlooking the main mountain but that was fine because we didn't spend much time in the room. The patio did have a grill and small table. The unit also had a nice workstation with computer monitor, printer and webcam. This would be great if you were able to work remote. The downstairs floors even seemed to be heated. The pool and 3 hot tubs were a nice addition. Parking was free and the location was walkable to the slopes. The lobby didn't have coffee ready until about 9am everyday but that was the only downfall. The lobby was clean with games and a nice fire. The location was exactly what we were looking for.

Friday March 20th 2015 thru Sunday March 22nd 2015…read more My friend and I went here for a Getaway with some other friends, who got hold of this property to rent via AirBNB and thru some owner of the timeshare etc. YES, this Property is huge. Each Vehicle or Guests who has a Vehicle has to go thru at the Front Desk and when you check-in you will receive the instructions on how to open the Door to each property etc.. and you NEED a VALID written tag which allows you to park your vehicle at the designated parking areas AKA Parking Lots. The "rented" Condo is located on the TOP Floor aka the 3rd Floor. There arent any elevator what so ever so hence you need your POWER MUSCLES to go thru all those stairs with your Luggage or all the stuffs you need like SKIs/Snowboards during the Winter. The organizer who run the weekend activity, opt to "rent" or have 3 BED and 3 BATHS, and since both my friend and I came earlier than the rest of the guests, we get to choose the "biggest" room, with the "biggest" TV in the room. All in all its doable. YES, they have "amenities" in the premises, but we did not get the chance to use it due to the hectic schedule we have for the weekend. In conclusion, we don't mind returning, though its a bit of a drive from Beaver Creek and Vail itself since this property is located in AVON itself. Perhaps a MAYBE... This place is awesome. A little dated but everything is clean and well maintained. I rented 2…read morecondos for a family vacation and both were very spacious. The pool and hot tub are very big and well heated. We made steaks on the grill by the pool one night. Very nice grill and everything else you need for a dinner is inside condo kitchen. The best part is the location! Walk to everything. If you don't want to walk there is a free shuttle for Vail with a stop very close to condos. We rented our snow ski equipment at a place you walk by on way to ski lift. Awesome place for ski vacation.

The 2nd bedroom had 2 queen beds and was connected to a bathroom. There was also a queen size pull out sofa bed. The kitchen was nice and was equipped with everything that we needed to cook full meals. We went to a grocery store in Denver so that we didn't spend a lot of money on food in Vail. The condo is about a 5-7min walk to the lion head village and slopes and is not hard walk. My 5yr old son was able to walk it a couple times a day to go skiing in freezing (-7 degree) temps. There is also a local bus stop that is about a 1-2 min walk that takes you to Vail village, and the bus is free. The bus stops frequently so you are not waiting long for it. We did not use our van the whole time we stayed in Vail because of the convenience of the location of the condo. The gentleman in the front office is very nice and was willing to accommodate us with a late check out. The negatives of the condo are: -there is no place to put your snow board or ski's -the front door does not close very well, and so after having dinner in the village we came back to our door wide open, but luckily no one stole our stuff -the toilet and shower is very small -The condo was a little outdated -There are no electrical outlets near the bed to charge your phones. -We did not have covered parking so when it's snowing it can cause an issue if you need anything in the car -There is no physical person at the front desk after a certain time, so if you need anything there is only an after hour emergency contact.

It was clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with all the amenities. The condo was within walking distance to Lionshead and Vail village and there's even a free shuttle. We chose Vail Resort Rental, which is the same as Sun Vail, over any other rental provider…read morebelieving the service would come with minimum quality standards and good service, otherwise, why not just go with the Airbnb or VRBO? Wrong assumption we've learned the hard way. on Dec 30th, 2018. We paid a top price on a 2-bedroom apartment for 5 days, and we regretted the moment the elevator door opened at the apartment floor. Licking stains on the wall, asphyxiating smoking smell and an unhanded looking hallway. The apartment 211 is a complete disappointment and a very low-bar offer by the Vail Resort Rentals: old old old, smell like old, the fridge makes a noise because it's from the 80s, stove and exhaust fan are also from the 80s, the bathrooms faucet, and shower are from the early 80s). The carpet is disgusting and the towels (stiff, small, and thin), pillows, and sheets lowest quality than from any Holiday Inn. This property could not be rented by Vail Resort Rentals, a company which supposedly provides good properties to rent,; instead, this property could simply be on Airbnb or vrbo, platforms that don't pretend to provide anything else than a means between landlord and tenants. For health issues, the smell is unbearable, trigging my husband's and my allergy. The smell is the non-negotiable item. Do yourself a favor, don't pay $999 per night here, don't trust the name this company used to inspire the customers, don't deal with "There's nothing we can do", "My manager has the day off today and tomorrow", "We've never had problems before", "I'll have the housekeeping take a look" (the housekeeping crew has a limit to what they are able to do in a 30+ year apartment). Instead, invest the exact same amount staying at The Marriot Vail Mountain Resort, a 5-star hotel for the same price. You will get what you want and the value your money worth. Most importantly, you will then enjoy your stay, be in a clean and healthy space, and be comfortable.
