Our view

Our unit 111 was great. Location is amazing. Clean, updated and very comfortable w all amenities. We grilled, used the jacuzzi and heated pool. We were a group of 5 and loved our weekend here. The front desk even printed a document I needed for business so that saved me time at checkout. We'd definitely come back.

We got a suite just above town's center. When we got here we were very tired from a long trip and Kate couldn't do enough for us and was there to fulfill every need. The apartments are beautiful, well kept, well designed, well situated. Extraordinary experience.

Has to be one of the best condo locations for waking distance to the gondola. Booked about 4 weeks before presidents weekend and it was the best deals around. I booked through vail reservations and it had very little detail regarding what I was getting. When I arrived I was surprised to have two full baths and an extra pullout couch area. Again vail didn't provide those details and we needed that extra space. Queen in the one bedroom with full bath. Pullout couch in a nook next to the second full bath. Kitchen and dinning room table with L shaped couch that was also a pullout. Gas fireplace was need because we had the corner unit that needed extra heat. They provided two space heaters and radiant wall heaters that were not my favorite. Balcony had a grill which we used. In the morning we walked to the ski rental place and picked up our skis and then walked to the gondola. I would store your skis and boots at Vail sports near gondola because going up the steps to the condo would not be fun. The condo does offer storage but I just want to get my boots off ASAP. Three hot tubs and outdoor pool we used most days. Two negatives to our stay: 1. one night we didn't have hot water after a long day of skiing. I guess boiler was broke. 2. They cleaned our room sometime after 4pm on Sunday, when we were at dinner. Two other nights we cooked in the condo and they had everything we needed. The WiFi was excellent and did watch the local channel 8 every morning to see the ski report. I would stay at this location again and also rent skis from vail sports. Location location location.

Tile is missing in the kitchen under microwave.

Everything is out of date, tiles in the kitchen and bathroom are missing, broken. Not anything like the pictures, bathrooms are tiny. Do not recommend to anyone

Each Vehicle or Guests who has a Vehicle has to go thru at the Front Desk and when you check-in you will receive the instructions on how to open the Door to each property etc.. and you NEED a VALID written tag which allows you to park your vehicle at the designated parking areas AKA Parking Lots. The "rented" Condo is located on the TOP Floor aka the 3rd Floor. There arent any elevator what so ever so hence you need your POWER MUSCLES to go thru all those stairs with your Luggage or all the stuffs you need like SKIs/Snowboards during the Winter. The organizer who run the weekend activity, opt to "rent" or have 3 BED and 3 BATHS, and since both my friend and I came earlier than the rest of the guests, we get to choose the "biggest" room, with the "biggest" TV in the room. All in all its doable. YES, they have "amenities" in the premises, but we did not get the chance to use it due to the hectic schedule we have for the weekend. In conclusion, we don't mind returning, though its a bit of a drive from Beaver Creek and Vail itself since this property is located in AVON itself. Perhaps a MAYBE... The pool and hot tub are very big and well heated. We made steaks on the grill by the pool one night. Very nice grill and everything else you need for a dinner is inside condo kitchen. The best part is the location! Walk to everything. If you don't want to walk there is a free shuttle for Vail with a stop very close to condos. We rented our snow ski equipment at a place you walk by on way to ski lift. Awesome place for ski vacation.

The 2nd bedroom had 2 queen beds and was connected to a bathroom. There was also a queen size pull out sofa bed. The kitchen was nice and was equipped with everything that we needed to cook full meals. We went to a grocery store in Denver so that we didn't spend a lot of money on food in Vail. The condo is about a 5-7min walk to the lion head village and slopes and is not hard walk. My 5yr old son was able to walk it a couple times a day to go skiing in freezing (-7 degree) temps. There is also a local bus stop that is about a 1-2 min walk that takes you to Vail village, and the bus is free. The bus stops frequently so you are not waiting long for it. We did not use our van the whole time we stayed in Vail because of the convenience of the location of the condo. The gentleman in the front office is very nice and was willing to accommodate us with a late check out. The negatives of the condo are: -there is no place to put your snow board or ski's -the front door does not close very well, and so after having dinner in the village we came back to our door wide open, but luckily no one stole our stuff -the toilet and shower is very small -The condo was a little outdated -There are no electrical outlets near the bed to charge your phones. -We did not have covered parking so when it's snowing it can cause an issue if you need anything in the car -There is no physical person at the front desk after a certain time, so if you need anything there is only an after hour emergency contact.

We chose Vail Resort Rental, which is the same as Sun Vail, over any other rental provider…read morebelieving the service would come with minimum quality standards and good service, otherwise, why not just go with the Airbnb or VRBO? Wrong assumption we've learned the hard way. on Dec 30th, 2018. We paid a top price on a 2-bedroom apartment for 5 days, and we regretted the moment the elevator door opened at the apartment floor. Licking stains on the wall, asphyxiating smoking smell and an unhanded looking hallway. The apartment 211 is a complete disappointment and a very low-bar offer by the Vail Resort Rentals: old old old, smell like old, the fridge makes a noise because it's from the 80s, stove and exhaust fan are also from the 80s, the bathrooms faucet, and shower are from the early 80s). The carpet is disgusting and the towels (stiff, small, and thin), pillows, and sheets lowest quality than from any Holiday Inn. This property could not be rented by Vail Resort Rentals, a company which supposedly provides good properties to rent,; instead, this property could simply be on Airbnb or vrbo, platforms that don't pretend to provide anything else than a means between landlord and tenants. For health issues, the smell is unbearable, trigging my husband's and my allergy. The smell is the non-negotiable item. Do yourself a favor, don't pay $999 per night here, don't trust the name this company used to inspire the customers, don't deal with "There's nothing we can do", "My manager has the day off today and tomorrow", "We've never had problems before", "I'll have the housekeeping take a look" (the housekeeping crew has a limit to what they are able to do in a 30+ year apartment). Instead, invest the exact same amount staying at The Marriot Vail Mountain Resort, a 5-star hotel for the same price. You will get what you want and the value your money worth. Most importantly, you will then enjoy your stay, be in a clean and healthy space, and be comfortable.
