I can't say enough good things about Mac and his team at Magdonal's Lock & Key…read more When every other locksmith told me they couldn't do it, Mac simply said, "Bring it over!" He immediately got to work making a key for my box. It was a complicated, double-sided key, and definitely not an easy job. Mac and his team spent over an hour working on it, and they refused to give up until they got it done. What impressed me even more was the price--he charged me so little that I honestly didn't think it was fair considering how much time and effort they put into the job. I'm extremely grateful for Mac's patience, professionalism, and determination. This is the kind of old-school customer service that's hard to find anymore: courtesy, craftsmanship, and a "get the job done" mentality. Thank you, Mac and everyone at Magdonal's Lock & Key. You've definitely earned my business and my recommendation!

Years ago, the name brought me in: MAGDONAL's lock and key…read more I needed an auto key fob duplicated at a reasonable price. As soon as I showed up, I asked to see Magdonal. And there he was, in the flesh. The Great Magdonal. I clarified my needs, he gave me his price, and business was done. Key was copied. And an invitation to return was extended to me. And I accepted. Every time I have visited MAGDONAL's lock and key, the Great Magdonal hasnt been present. Today I visited for some quick house keys copied, and again--no Magdonal. I vented my frustration to one of MAGDONAL's highly trained ninja Jedi assistant sensei locksmiths, and he explained that Magdonal trained all staff rigorously, so that in his absence all customers would be in good hands. He also clarified that Magdonal had his staff in place so that Magdonal could spread the lock and key gospel to the people of the world. What is a lock, with no key? What is a key with no lock? The lock/key yin/yang sermon. Without one, the other is useless. I realized I was being selfish and did not want to impede on Magdonal's mission. Staff was great. Quick, competent, and pleasant. Boom boom boom. Keys copied and color coded on a Saturday. And they clarified that Magdonal works in the mornings, which made sense because I don't think I'd visit in the mornings. Warm Regards to the Great Magdonal--wherever you are Thank you

Outstanding Service - Thank You, John!…read more I can't thank John enough for his amazing service! It was 2 AM, and he was the only locksmith willing to come out and help us when we really needed it. John was professional, friendly, honest, and extremely helpful. His pricing was very reasonable, especially for such a late-night emergency. It's rare to find someone so reliable and dedicated to helping others. I truly appreciate his kindness and excellent service. I highly recommend John to anyone looking for a trustworthy locksmith. Thank you again, John, for being there when we needed you the most!

He was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. He gave me an estimated price and ETA over the phone, arrived within about 20mins - sooner than the ETA, and immediately figured out what was wrong. My key was stuck in the lock, and he was able to get it out, diagnose the problem, fix the lock, and make me new keys very quickly and efficiently. He was professional, knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely kind. His pricing was very fair, especially considering how quickly he arrived and solved the problem. I especially appreciate that he is a one-man local business who actually answers his own calls and personally comes out to help. No call center, no middleman, no unnecessary hassle, someone who clearly knows what he's doing and takes pride in his work. If you need a locksmith, I would absolutely recommend giving him a call. I'm very happy I found him and will definitely keep his number for the future!

When he arrived he didn't even try to open it and said he would need to drill it for $250, and then charge an additional $250 for a new lock. When I said absolutely not, he then said he could take $200 off if I wrote a good review, to which I said, so you can do this cheaper? I made the decision to say no because the vibe he gave me was just horrible business so then told him no and that it's way too expensive to just pick a lock. While I was trying to pay him the $30 for the drive, he kept lingering saying the charge is supposed to be $50 for the service drive instead of $30. WHAT A ******* COMPLETE SCAM!!!! I called another company and they were able to pick the lock for $160 + $30 service drive. Avoid this place at all cost.

Actually, almost too good to be true and so I asked him a lot of questions because frankly I didn't want him to come out and then tack on more fees. Daniel took the time to explain the difference between opening the safe forcefully (with no damage to the contents) as opposed to lock picking.
