No offer of ordering the part- nothing. I paid 90 dollars, they arrived 3 hours late for 10 minutes to say the motherboard is dead. The other issue was I could not understand him due to his accent. I don't care about culture or enthtics . Just do the job. He stated he did not know why I was upset. Three hours late, acting annoyed and 10 minute for 90 dollars and difficult accent. For full transparency, however, it is worth noting that this communication came less than 24 hours after I had posted my initial review. The repair technician arrived at my home the same day, and spent approximately 90 minutes going back over the previous repair work and going much more in-depth in this second go-round. After completing the work, he explained what he did, what he found, and then ran a cycle through my dishwasher. The next day, I ran another cycle, and the leaking issue had been fixed. As I am someone who does believe in giving people and businesses second chances and opportunities, and because I have seen them perform excellent and professional work before (see my original review), I am likely to give them my business at least once more to see that this experience is an outlier and not their typical course of business.

John from Top Notch came to our house, observed the washer failing to complete a cycle multiple times with the same error code and listened to our concerns. After leaving to research the problem he left a voice mail later that day saying that he had consulted a colleague and suggested that we were just loading it incorrectly, he then described in detail how to properly load a washing machine. For context, we had been using this washer for three years without issue before it suddenly started failing mid-cycle, we are also both in our mid/late thirties so we have some experience doing our own laundry. We decided to go back to Sterling Appliance who believed us when we said there was a problem and they replaced the board with the sensor. He is from Vision Appliance Repair (probably a subsidiary company?). Max diagnosed the problem (that is: the previous technician from a different company did not connect the water pipes tightly enough, and as a result whenever one presses the button for the water dispenser inside the fridge, water leaks from behind the fridge). He fixed it and also double checked to make sure the pipes for the new ice maker (again installed by the previous, a different company) is correctly connected. The company is up front about their cost. They have a $49 service call fee which will be applied to the total cost if repair is done. I appreciate their fast same day service, and their professionalism.

He ordered them and returned a few weeks later and replaced them - with my help. They worked for a couple of months and then the problem recurred. I called him back in November and he said that "parts" were no longer under warranty and didn't offer suggestions on fixing the problem. He never returned, never called and I wound up replacing the oven. I would not recommend him or his business to any customer.
