I don't normally write reviews, but I felt like this needed to be shared. On 10/11/24 I came here to get my acrylic off of my hands and toes. Everything was "fine" at first when removing the acrylic on my hands. Only thing is, I was left with rings of fire on every fingernail. It was when she (don't remember her name, didn't ask either) moved me over to the chair to start removing the acrylic on my toes. I was seated next to an older gentleman who was receiving a pedicure by the same woman who was removing my acrylic. While in the process of removing the acrylic off of my toes, the lady proceeded to reach over to the toolkit that she was using on the older gentleman who was receiving a pedicure and use the same tools on me that she just used on him... and god... I was just in shock. I didn't know how to react because I've never been in that situation and I didn't want to embarrass or bring attention to the older gentleman because his feet were so so bad. After the acrylic was removed I also had rings of fire on every single toenail. I also received a gel clear coat for both my hands and feet. So, its time for me to pay, my total was $55 I was like okay whatever, even though in the back of my mind I was thinking about the dirty tools she just used on me and the rings of fire on all 20 digits. The same lady that did my hands and toes, checked me out as well, so I did the tap and pay and she hit a button on her screen, then turned it to me to sign my signature on the screen, I'm looking at the screen and I see in the very corner that my total is now $70.13. So, I said "it says $70?" and didn't sign it... and she acted confused and asked another coworker for help. They couldn't back out of it apparently and ended up charging me the $70.13. So when the receipt printed it said I gave her a $15 dollar tip... when I was never even given the option to tip her when she was checking me out on the hand held device. So, of course I'm thinking she tipped herself... and I was going to tip her for her labor although the quality of her service was poor for using someone else's dirty tools on me and all my fingernails being grinned to hell. I'm a generous person. So, since my card was charged an additional $15... after waiting 30+ minutes for them to figure out how to refund it. I just asked if she could give me $10 back and keep the remainder. So the other coworker that was helping her with the device gave me $10 in cash back and I left. I'm sharing my experience because I was mislead by the 4.5 rating they have on google, I'm not sure how this place has a 4.5 rating, I was very disappointed. I won't be back and I've even considered reporting them to the health department because that is just unacceptable. read more

I really enjoy getting pedicures here. The staff are always so nice to my husband and I. And the massage chairs are my fav out of any nail salon I've been too. They do a really thorough job and my feet stay perfect for quite some time after. I'm sure if I got a manicure here I'd be equally as pleased. I'm from out of state and have been searching for a good nail salon for the last week. This place didn't have as many reviews as the others but it seemed to shine above the rest. I arrived as a walk-in and all technicians were occupied. However, I was seated for a pedicure in less than 10 mins. My nail technician, May, was very polite and considerate. She ensured I liked the glitter fade on my toenails and the shaping of my fingernails before continuing on during the manicure. The salon had a couple 8 year old girls getting their nails done and their technicians were so great with them, carrying conversations, and making them feel comfortable. Price was good, $60 total for gel polish with basic manicure and gel polish with fade($5 extra) basic pedicure. I'll definitely come back here whenever I'm in town! read more

My mother, sister, and I always go to V Nails & Spa to get our nails done. They recently got new pedicure chairs that work amazingly and look so nice. They also repainted the walls which brighten up the space. Wether you're getting a pedicure or your nails done you can expect to get a beautiful turnout. The people who work there are genuine and work hard and some of them work with such detail they've been called perfectionists. I can always expect beautiful nails and a comfortable experience especially when I get a manicure because they give you a shoulder and neck massage that keeps regulars coming back. I'm surprised nobody has reviewed this place yet. It's packed every time I go in! This year I've gotten into the dip powder manicure (which many claim is less damaging than gel... so far so good, for me). Other salons I've been to either don't know how to do the manicure properly, or I don't care to. My manicurist took her time despite it being busy, and made sure the powder wasn't caked on my nail - THIS is the crucial part to me, because most places just dip the nail a few times and put on a clear coat, resulting in a thick, lumpy nail that doesn't really look natural. I LOVE my manicures after leaving this salon, and they always last the full two weeks (and then some). And this is the only place I've been that uses a quick-dry formula so I'm not awkwardly sitting around for 15 minutes. I've heard their pedicures are great, too! The nail tech was gentle and asked questions while he worked to ensure he gave me the desired nails. The place is clean and the staff friendly. Horrible! My teen daughter came in with her friend--my daughter is a plus size girl and the technicians throughout the salon and "spa" laughed and poked fun at her the entire time they were there. Although they spoke in their own language, you know when someone is talking about you. They would look at her and laugh and then when she got up to wash her hands they'd say something and then they would all laugh. My daughter was mortified and in tears. I requested a discount because of the horrendous service but was denied. My teen daughter is very sensitive about her weight and these ladies completely humiliated her! read more

Honestly wasn't a good experience at all. My nails got filed so much that it burned. So much glue was used my fin was stuck to the plastic nail and when filing my finger got cut. My nails already look like the need filled on some and they are all different shapes and sizes. Very sad with my experience. read more

This was my haven during my four years at OU. Great techs and great service. Every time I visit OK I go to V Nails so they can clean up what other techs have missed at other salons I have visited. Except for 1 visit I have loved coming here for manicures and pedicures. The women do a great job and my polish has stayed looking nice for weeks. I also came in when I had a broken toe and they were very careful and gentle. The one exception to the great service is this past week when I had the man who shaves his hair so he looks almost bald. I had an appointment but he kept me waiting for an hour soaking in the foot tub then came over and laughed saying I had been waiting for him for a long time. He then rushed through the pedicure and the polish job was sloppy. I had polish on my toes and it was not even. My toe nails were cut on an angle as well so my daughter had to fix them when we got home. He rushed through the manicure even faster. I like my nails short which he complained about several times and did such a poor job with the manicure that my nails were ragged. He only put on 1 layer of polish, no base coat or top coat, then just stopped. I had to call him over to fix some of the work while my nails were drying but he only made a half effort and complained again that he can't do anything with shorter nails. After 2 days the polish is peeling off which is just great when I am at a wedding. I do strongly recommend you go here, but pass on this guy. read more

I thought this nail salon was average. I walked in and was able to get my no chip done right away. The service was ok and my nail polish has stayed on a week and a half now, but the nail tech could have painted closer to the cuticle because some nails had a noticeable gap between the cuticle and the polish. As for cleanliness, I would give them three stars, it's just ok. I was not happy about the wait in the pedi chair in between my mani and pedi. Someone poured lukewarm water to soak in, and I then waited 30 minutes for the tech to do my pedi. At that point the water turned cold, so I had to have him refill the soak tub with hot water (this shouldn't happen). He told me he thought someone else was going to do my pedi... so basically they forgot about me. Ha! Nothing outstanding about this place except maybe color selection. Negatives were wait time, but overall just your run of the mill nail salon, maybe a bit less. read more
