It's too expensive to be this hit and miss. I've held off on leaving a review hoping for improvement with each visit, but it's time to move on. I spent months and hundreds trying to grow out my nails with builder gel just for a tech to take them off like they were acrylics in April. My nails were ruined. Every visit, at least one of us have been cut.... And that's IF they trim cuticles. We'd pay the same price just for them to skip that part entirely on some visits. Basic pedi with an up-charge of $15 for gel and then for a mani they charge $5+ per nail for a simple design (polka dots)... I get that we have to keep the lights on, but guys. Today was the straw: $165 with tip for 2 basic gel pedicures and 1 gel manicure, 2 of those were for children: 12 and 9... and again, one of them was cut (pictured). read more

Filed is 50/50, there's some nail techs there like Daisy who are awesome and pay such great attention to detail. However, last I went my nails were chipping after three days (not done by Daisy). It wasn't even worth it to get the three nails fixed because by the next day two more already chipped (these were dip nails). The front end staff are not very welcoming either, except the taller gentleman. read more

The inside was clean and beautiful, the techs were all super friendly and I got exactly what I wanted. Nail visits are usually painful but they were very careful and didn't nick me once. I wanted to like this place so much. Everyone was so lovely, and the decor was cute, but they cut my cuticles with a drill and made me bleed in two spots while getting my builder gel manicure. This is my first time getting builder gel, and I chose to get it because it's supposed to last longer. I normally don't get my nails done. I don't have time. I'm VERY particular and most of the time it's a waste of money for me bc I am a licensed cosmetologist and I can polish my own nails better than most people can polish my nails. I'm VERY picky. I was given a gift card to Filed Nails Spa for my birthday so my daughters and I went today. They didn't have an immediate opening so we made an appointment, ran some errands and returned. They were amazing. We had pretzels and sipped on Dr. Pepper and water while we were pampered. Helen polished my nails to perfection. I feel really bad about leaving a less than stellar review. The woman doing my nails dropped the polish bottle which then got all over both my top and pants, which is honestly totally fine!! I drop things all the time, it happens and I get it. I'm just a little miffed that no one really said anything. I even asked if they knew of anything I could do to get the gel polish off, they just kind of said "yeah no, if it's ruined why bother." And to be fair he might not have known it happened. I'm never one to ask for or expect a discount, so I can't knock them for charging me full price, I did receive the service after all. I just feel like at the very very least, they could have decided not to charge me the additional $5 they charged to take off the nail polish i walked in with. My nails look good, I just feel a little meh about the whole experience. read more

I came in today for a set of nails. I was seen by Daisy. She was incredibly rude from the jump. Daisy did not listen to a single request I made - going so far as to tell me that my request for short nails would be "ugly". They are required for my work and I had to fight repeatedly to get her to shorten them and they are still probably a bit too long. She also thought it was a good idea to yell at me during the service. I unknowingly was anxiously bouncing my leg and Daisy yelled "Stop" scaring me and the woman beside me. I will not return to this shop and will be sharing with all the people I know at the University to seek service elsewhere. read more

I never leave bad reviews, but I'm in pain and still so upset. I spent $135 dollars here today. I got a pedicure, the lady (although accident) cut 3 of my toes and all were bleeding. One she cut so badly that she cut my skin instead of my toenail, that didn't stop bleeding the entire time I was there during pedicure & getting my nails done.. and still on the drive home. I had to ask for a bandage it hurt so so bad. I'm not upset that this accident happened, (3 toes) but I'm actually shocked I was still charged $65 for a pedicure. You get pedicures to relax and have pretty toes. I couldn't relax while bleeding and hurting. My toe nail polish(gel) is all over the skin, she tried painting over all the bloody spots. Then let's get to the nails. I asked for dip- white tips/French. Simple. Easy. Can't go wrong. The lady was so very nice, and she honestly did a good job. It wasn't a her issue.. I don't think. But, showed her white tips- simple. She gets done. I noticed my white on the tips is... nude? Brownish? Not cute. Looks weird. I ignore it. Im so ready to leave this place at this point. My toes are throbbing and I'm so over being upset. THEN, she uses a gel top coat on my dip nails. Which doesn't sound like a big deal, but when your a hairstylist you know the struggle. We get dip specifically because it doesn't stain with hair color and gel does. (Which I expressed to the nail lady) so I asked her why she was using that because it is going to stain like I told her previously. She shrugs her shoulders and says this is all we have and hairstylist shouldn't get "these colors, you know it will stain". I'm so over it. I just smile and walk out. Wasn't going to cause a scene even though I was about to blow at this point. Then it was $55 for dip and $10 for my "soak off" ?!?! I just can't even believe it. I understand mistakes happen, but when they do you don't charge customers full price for half ass work. I'll never be back and that makes me sad because I heard nothing but good things, but to bad my experience was FAR from this. read more

So friendly, speak English well, they bring you snacks and drinks. I love to relax and they do not poke you with sharp things and use cheese graters on your feet! So I can totally chill without worry of injury. Love this place. Regular manicures will last a good week and gel lasts til you take it off. read more
