Awful. Took forever and two nails have already come off (it hasn't even been a week yet). And for some reason she put gel polish on top of the dip which is all peeling off. I love the customer service here! I came in for a manicure pedicure and eyebrow wax. I was greeted and asked to pick a color, as usual at most salons... And then given an extensive drink menu to choose from. Their drink menu included several kinds of soda, orange juice and apple juice for kids, and strawberry champagne, peach champagne, and green tea. I chose the strawberry champagne and it was so light and sweet, that she had to pour me a second glass! This is one of the few nail salons I have been to that they have not tried to continually add on services... I told them what I wanted, and they happily completed the services I requested without telling me I needed a lip wax, shellac instead of regular polish, or any upgrades. The best part, whenever I finished she had asked if it was my first time there, I said yes it was and I would definitely be back... She then handed me a five dollar certificate for my next visit. Obviously this just became my new regular nail spot! You can see by the picture that my basic manicure was near perfect as a manicure can be, perfectly shaped nails, no bubbly polish, and she put on five layers total... One of my biggest pet peeves is when nail techs don't get the sides of your nail with polish, but she completely covered my nail from side to side and front to back evenly. The eyebrow wax wasn't anything to write home about, but it was good and only eight dollars! read more

I love this nail salon so much. I have been to quite a bit of nail salons in my area and this one is by far my favorite. I like to get long acrylic nails and with every other experience I've had, they tend to break fairly easily. After visiting this place, I have never had an issue with my nails breaking. I assume they use high quality products and hire very knowledgeable and professional nail technicians. Even though I live in the city, I drive all the way to Norman and I will even wait upwards of 30 minutes just to get my nails done here. read more

I've always had a WONDERFUL experience here. Kevin does a great job and is always super friendly and personable. They are very clean and always offer drinks! The peach champagne is a great addition to a pedi! Oh and Enny (sorry for the spelling) gave me the absolute best pedicure I've ever had in my life. She was very attentive and thorough, and the calf massage was good enough to put me in a daze! I swear I could have fallen asleep. They also have a punch card which I love. They are always so nice and attentive. The pedicures are amazing and top notch polish selection weather it is regular, gel or dip.

I actually really did like my pedicure but there were definitely things that could be improved upon. First off, I made at appointment for two people at 12pm and when I came in they only had one tech free to start. Second, I asked to look at a list of pricing and it took the lady working there a solid 5+ minutes to find a pamphlet of the pricing. I would think they would like to keep more then one one hand for when customers come but what do I know. Third, my friend, who started first, was offered something to drink while I waited 10 minutes for a nail tech and wasn't offered anything to drink. Lastly, the flys, the gosh dang flys, there were two just flying around my legs during the pedicure and I kept swatting them away but they just kept coming back. So the relaxing atmosphere I thought I'd get was somewhat ruined by that. There are definitely some factors that could be changed to make the place better. One more thing, I wish the colors of the polish's were better organized. Would have made the experience of choosing a color much easier. There were multiples of the same polish that were just spread out all over the place. read more

I used to always come here, but I went a few days ago and will NOT return. This was the worst set of nails I've ever got put on. I had an appointment and had to wait over an hour before getting seated JUST to have my nails look thick, chunky, and short all at the same time. Not to mention, one of my nails started to change colors the day after getting them done. I called the store and asked for a refund and for them to fix my nails. They said the manager would call me the next day which they didn't. I went in to the store today and they gave me a refund but refused to redo my nails even though I pointed out the discoloration. It's just disappointing that they would treat someone who has been there multiple times so poorly. read more

Lily did an amazing job on both my new dip set and pedicure. She took her time to get the shape of my nails just right, which is incredibly time consuming and difficult with the stiletto shape. She made sure that I was happy with every step and never seemed to be rushed or impatient! My nails came out beautiful, thin and natural looking. She also executed the design I requested better than I hoped for!! The pedicure was very nice, relaxing and well worth the price. She got rid of all the dead skin and made my cuticles look superb. When painting my toes she took the time to do the extra step of adding a white base coat so my color choice would pop which I very much appreciated as I would have not thought of it myself. The saloon itself was very clean and well maintained. They had pleasant instrumental music playing throughout that was very enjoyable and made the place seem very serene despite being fairly busy. I really enjoy the quality and attention from the technicians at this salon. They're by appointment only right now, but they do great to get you in. My dad was visiting from out of town and needed to get his feet taken care of and they got him right in. They're so thorough about massages and getting feet smooth. I recently tried a spot out in the city as it was close by and I could do it on my lunch. Huge regret. Kevin's is where it's at for quality pedicures. I've never had my fingernails done here, so I cannot speak to that aspect. They're affordable, put out quality work, good access to free parking, and friendly. read more

Today's visit was my first time at Essie Nails. I was in the area and went in with the intention of getting my eyebrows waxed. The staff was friendly and welcoming and there was no wait for my walk in. The salon also seemed to be clean and in good order. I was pleased to learn they do offer waxing as I hadn't seen that they did in my quick google search about them. I was also pleased with the turn out of my eyebrows. I decided to get a manicure while I was there. I wasn't offered a list of options of pricing and packages like other salons sometimes offer, in fact I never noticed any list of prices anywhere on display at all. My nails are natural and I requested not to have polish. The manicure was mediocre in quality mostly due to the bad shaping my nails received. I didn't ask for anything fancy, just a rounded shape. But they turned out rather lopsided and jagged in places. I was disappointed to lose so much length for such a bad shape. I'll have to work on fixing it when I get home. However the lady, whose name I forgot to ask, did seem to be very meticulous about cuticle care and they look great now. The manicure also included a paraffin wax which felt delightful. I had never had one before. Overall the visit cost $23 not including tip and because I was a first time customer they gave me a $5 off coupon for next time. I thought it was a nice gesture and nice of her to think to ask if it was my first time in. I would come back for the waxing, but I'm not sure I would get a manicure again. I chose four stars mostly because of the lack of straightforward easy to see pricing. read more

Assuming it's the glue that was used. and because nails were put so far off my cuticle line, I now have go get a fill because they look bad. I've never had acrylics last less than 3 weeks. Sorry. I asked if they could also charge me for a manicure since they don't usually do both. im the end the nail shape came out great. color came out great. but the acrílica themselves were put so far off my cuticle like that it makes it look like I need a fill and it's only been three days since I got them. So looks a little strange and two of my nails came out pretty crooked. Extremely relaxing atmosphere. I had a pedicure and gel manicure. They did an exceptional job on both. The manicurist told me that they always take their time, to ensure quality mani/pedis. They accepted me as a walk in, but I would make an appointment in the future because they will turn walk ins down in order not to rush current customers. read more
