Mita was a great source of support for us throughout the planning process, especially when dealing with some of our more difficult vendors. We could fully trust that the day was in capable hands once we passed the baton to her team to manage our prior months' worth of planning. Month-of coordination is a suitable option for couples who want to be heavily involved in the details of planning the majority of their own event and only need to hand-off management and execution of day-of logistics to a professional. Mita Events was 100% worth the money to have our wedding day flow without a hitch. Her powerpoint deck is great, it clearly shows the event vibe and the cost for every single thing, no matter how big or small. We didn't feel overcharged for anything, and she didn't try to sneak in extra costs (like I've heard of other decor vendors doing!) - we agreed on a price for things and a budget, and she stuck to it. In fact, she doesn't deposit the check until after the wedding and we've given her confirmation that everything went as expected. As for her personality, we found her very easy to talk to and work with, and overall just super friendly. She works hard, and she goes above and beyond for a couple, like coming to our house to pick up things and return things. I was able to DIY certain pieces and they were super helpful with giving me recommendations on what would look nice as a DIY piece with the rest of the decor and then made sure to set it up properly the day of the wedding. A few weeks before the wedding Manya informed me that the Urlis that I had rented were fully damaged and she was not sure if she would be able to provide another one. But within 24 hours, she guaranteed that she would get the fully remade at her own cost and would make sure they were ready for my event. She went above and beyond for me and did everything she could to limit the amount of stress on me as we got closer to the events. Not a lot of vendors go out of their way to use their team to help with other aspects of the wedding. Her whole team was super helpful and assisted with coordinating with the venue and they took on all the work to flip the venue from wedding to reception. All the furniture that was brought to the venue was not only decorated by Manya's team but they also set up all the furniture themselves. I had a blast working with Vanessa during the events, she is really there to make sure that everything looks beautifully. She understood what I was looking for the events and completely got the aesthetic I was going for. The team that was there to set up was so accommodating and I could really tell they were there to make sure we were happy with their execution and delivery. Their work is truly remarkable and A LOT of hard work. These people worked tirelessly to give us everything we need on our big day, WHILE still being the most humble and friendly people to work with. To be fair, she was flexible in converting our outdoor event into an indoor event. However, there were multiple other issues throughout the day. On the morning of the wedding, she was over an hour late to set up the mandap which caused significant delays for the rest of the ceremony. Our priest was on time and was unable to organize anything for the ceremony as they were still in the process of setting up the mandap. She also made the flower bouquets for me and my bridesmaids to walk into the ceremony with. However, the flower stems were long, uneven, and still had thorns. Holding the bouquet was so uncomfortable that I didn't even bother using it after the initial entrance. For the reception, I wanted a geometric backdrop. When I got to the stage, the entire backdrop was off center and also had a bungee cord holding the structure together in direct view. My family spent about 45 minutes before the reception fixing the stage backdrop cutting into time where we supposed to take pictures. Ultimately I was not satisfied with the results of the decorations for the events.  I would not recommend hiring Anjana for any large scale events. If I had to change one thing about my wedding it would be to choose an alternative decorator from the start.
