Absolutely beautiful!!!!!!! You have to make a reservation at least three weeks in advance and when you get there to check in the process is pretty quick and easy the drink tower gives you at least 6 to 8 drinks be mindful it does cost $150, we didn't get any food items from here strictly drinks the games are all life-size which was pretty fun and cool you're literally on the top of a roof partying in the middle of the day read more

Cool place to go once. Came here in August in the afternoon. We sat at a table outside. It's a nice big place with some indoor and outdoor seating. We sampled many of their drink and food options. Everything was pretty good, nothing was amazing. It's more about how things look here. They have many games you can play as well. We got their high connect 4. It worked and we played a few games. But, it's a really low quality set and the bottom kept falling out without warning. Service was pretty good, although a bit slow. It wasn't packed when we were here, I'd say 50% or so capacity. If more crowded, I'd worry about getting food and drinks. Overall like I said at the beginning, it was fun once but don't think I'd go back. read more

A fun and entertaining rooftop in old town. The views are great, the food is delicious and the drinks are strong. We got a combination platter for the table and it had everything in it: pizza, nachos, wings, sliders, fries and corn ribs. Well there we also took lots of great pictures with the city backdrop and artwork they had around. Just make a reservation before you go, otherwise you may not get in. read more

Great spot for fun & cool eats! Management was AWESOME! I appreciate their ability to be flexible with me and my party. If you are a Young, friendly, party type...this is the place for you! The music was great and gave a dance party vibe. The drinks were fun and the rooftop created an atmosphere of enjoy yourself and just vibe! Come as you are and plan to have a good time with friends! The energy of the surrounding neighborhood is also inviting! I'm telling this place is LIT if you are looking for a fun, hip, good time...slide through and enjoy yourself! Cool photo oops too! Check it out & enjoy!!! read more

We made reservations here just because we heard it was super fun and really cool. Well, the rumor is correct. We had a blast . The best music ever ( 80s pop) . We order a couple of the craft cocktails and a order of curly fries and sweet potato tater tots. The tots where really great . We got the Dream Cicle shots . They where just OK none of us really liked them . I got the watermelon mint spritz drink it was good . They have super fun sitting areas and oversized large games to play like corn hole and connect 4 . The views of the city was really cool. Our server was super nice and efficient. Would def recommend. read more

Popped up on my Local New Businesses, so naturally had to come check it out. First glance: Great rooftop location with a passive patio to have a super fun afternoon. Large patio games, huge picnic tables, fun colors. There is just so much entertainment that this place can offer you. Actuality: Absolutely horrible service. We had a staff member tell us the patio closed at midnight, and I asked what part of the patio (completely valid considering many businesses in downtown only close a portion of their patio), I was ever so rudely replied with "do you not understand what patio means?" and he walked away. The irony of this...it was the manager on duty! I completely understand having a rough night - I work in customer service too, but holy moly what did I do to you?! On top of that we had to flag down the waitress for our table. We wanted to order food, and asked what can be made vegetarian. The waitress was completely clueless, so needless to say we were skeptical to order. We took a gamble...and well, the waitress definitely did not understand what vegetarian meant because there was beef chili in my walking taco. Would I be back? I was definitely embarrassed bringing 10 of my friends here because of how awful the service was. Maybe I'll come back, once they've ironed out their process, but most importantly, learn how to treat a customer better. 2 Stars because the actual concept of the bar is exactly what Old Town needs, but minus 3 stars because of their service. read more

- Wait no one is going to serve us - been waiting an hour and got my order wrong - this food is trash - no shade...hot as f*ck!!!! Joined some friends for brunch. Really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately I didn't. Not really the right quicker one that wants to eat or over 25. Waitress tried to make it right... read more

This place is fun, colorful and kitschy! So much opportunity for it to be amazing, but it missed the mark for our group. The place was packed and they were clearly understaffed. We had a booth inside and they kindly changed the TV to the game we wanted to see. It all went downhill after that. When we complained to a manager that we'd been waiting over a half hour for drinks & food, he told us they were understaffed, we should order when drinks are half empty (our friends had joined and hadn't had 1 drink yet) and that we should know our server's name. He sent our server over and she asked if we still wanted our order (clearly she had forgotten to even put our order in). Drinks are fun and themed and a little on the sweet side. Food was decent, a little more fun than your regular bar food fare. I polled our group and the consensus was this was a 1-2 star experience. I hope it's just opening pains and that service, customer-focus and management will improve because it's a great location and really fun concept! Tips: To get to the rooftop, take the elevators on the ground floor on the East side. Taking the escalators will only have you riding them up...wondering how you get in and then riding them back down. Water is self-serve throughout the restaurant, if you want some go get it yourself outside Make a reservation and skip any elevator line downstairs. read more

Didn't even make it in the door! After a fun, rainy day on Michigan Ave, we hopped the bus North to this place. We had shopped and OF COURSE had to grab Garrets popcorn to take back home from our travels, only to be told we could not go in with our Garret bags. Nowhere on its website does it say you can't take bags in. The gal who was checking us in was rude as hell when telling us we couldn't bring our contraband in. No decency whatsoever. This is who you want at the front of your business!?! Seriously, come on! We made this reservation weeks ago, when we had narrowed down what we wanted to do on our girls trip to Chicago. The person in our party who made the reservation went back to get her $$ back and cancel our reservation and was greeted rudely by security... told Turn Around! so he could wand her... like be courteous... it's rainy and if you don't want to be at work, find a different frickin job. The person doing the refund was just as baffled as we were, on why we couldn't bring our stuff in. The only reason they got 1 star is because I had to click something. read more

My boyfriend and I visited here thanks to Best Date Foods. Food and drinks were great, the venue is colorful and relaxed (it's small) and they have a beautiful rooftop with jumbo games (connect 4 and jenga) outdoors and beer pong and TVs playing sports indoors. Even though there were heaters available, I didn't dress appropriately for the weather to play Jenga outdoors but the staff was very accommodating and gave us a table to play at. Feels like a college frat party with better drinks. We may be back for the good vibes. Knocked one star because the restrooms need better maintenance. read more

A few friends and I were visiting from California, and this was definitely one of our favorite spots. The rooftop area had games, a tire swing, and a great view of the city lights. We ordered a bucket of alcohol which looked super cute and a delicious nacho place. Afterwards, we went inside and there was a fun DJ playing everything from Hip-hop, to EDM, to 80s throwbacks. It wasn't too crowded and our food came pretty quickly! The only downside was that it was pretty cold outside even with all the jackets and alcohol...but then again my socal ass thinks anything under 70 is cold so read more

I like it, great theme, great outdoors area with over-sized games, heating lamps, TVs and cozy decor. Had the burger special which comes with a shot and beer. Beware, the burger initially comes with chips, not fries, so be sure to inform the waiter if you want otherwise like myself. However, these taste like pita chips, not bad. Because I was unaware, the nice waiter brought me out complimentary fries, which was of course, in my opinion, better than the chips (haha) Can't wait to return once the weather warms up. Btw, this place is strictly 21 & over, yay. read more

Great place for day drinking with endless games and fun! We came during the winter so most people were inside but the patio has amazing views of the city and all kinds of neat places to hang out like the snuggle lounge which is a cushioned area. Once you arrive you have to wait for a table if you want to sit down. We only had to wait about 10 minutes before a table opened up but by 4pm it was packed. We also decided to try out some of their table games like Jenga and flip cup. They are mini versions of everything and you leave your ID with the front host stand. Most of us drank white claws and beers which you can order in single, 6 or 18 quantities. The more you order the more discount there is. They have number of cocktails that you can get in Gatorade sized jugs. Seems like a hangover waiting to happen. For snacking we got 2 appetizers - Nachos and the giant Pretzel. The nacho chips were deep fried and a little greasy but perfect snack when you're drinking. The soft pretzel was like the kind you get at German festivals. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with this place, I've heard a lot of hype from friends saying to come here and enjoy the food and drinks but that was a big mistake. My friends and I waited for 30 minutes for somebody to serve us and the only reason why we had somebody come up was cuz my friend flagged a server to help us out. The food took forever to come out as well as our beers, think the server forgot to send it to the kitchen but regardless she barely came around to check on us. The food was mid, the drinks were overpriced, but the only good thing about this place was the ambience. I really wanted to like this place but idk if I wanna come back. read more

I used to love this place, but I went recently and after buying my $17 cocktail, I stood at the bar outside and was told that was not allowed because it might attract bees. We then found an open table and within two mins of sitting down were told they made a mistake and this table was supposed to be reserved. This all honestly would have been fine if the cocktail wasn't ass, alas it was extreme ass. With sadness in my heart, I must give a 1/10 score to this establishment. read more

Extremely limited food menu and OK drinks. Definitely expected more from this rooftop bar from what we had seen on TikTok. We went on an extremely hot summer day hoping that the bar would have some shade outside but there was none to be found. We ended up sitting inside but ventured out to play a game. There are not many game set ups so be prepared to wait. Our service was OK and was extremely slow despite how dead the bar was at that time. read more

What a fun place - definitely get a reservation. We didn't, but we were lucky to grab a seat at the bar. The drinks were all different, so there's definitely something for everyone. My favorite was the Gameday Mule - it was definitely on the sweeter side, so if that's not your thing, this drink isn't for you! Also, highly recommend ordering the fries with a side of cheese sauce! A perfect rooftop place for a summer hangout with your friends. It is very happening and has a lot of space unlike many other rooftop bars. I went there during the Kentucky Derby and the place was lit! They had beer pong tables, corn holes and all sort drinking games to hangout with your friends. The drinks were ok and the food could definitely do better. I had the animal fries and the Chorizo sliders. The prices are as you expect in Old Town in similar places. Overall the staff was very friendly and prompt. Definitely going to be the place to start a Saturday night outing in Old Town. read more

I very rarely post reviews because I know restaurants are trying right now but I needed to let others know about this place. This establishment only caters to a certain type: trendy white people. My friends and I were sat and waited over 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Every table around us including those sat after us received prompt and immediate service. When my party tried to get several waitresses attention, we were met with indifference. After realizing we were being ignored, we left and informed the host of our treatment. If you aren't white, this is not the place for you. Don't spend your money on a place where they don't want it! Seriously! read more

My dear Yelp readers, as I've discussed before, it's not easy to be dating in the era of Covid. We're all dealing with it - the lingering fear of being maskfished (neither of you knows what's under there), nervously trying not to sneeze (it's just allergies, I swear), and refreshing the NBA playoffs every time your date is in the bathroom (RIP Nuggets). The rules are vague and mask etiquette is being discovered in real-time, which can make for a stressful experience for all parties involved. Utopian tailgate internalizes the chaos and converts it to a vibe, offering an open-air playground with a beautiful view and groovy ambiance which is perfect for a first-time meeting between two online profiles recommending Netflix originals to each other. The artwork and decor is cool, the service is excellent, and there's plenty of TVs to glance at when neither of you can think of something clever to say. All the staff members I interacted with wore masks and stayed an appropriate distance at all times. The menu is unique and diverse with several veg options, and a conversation-starting variety to choose from. My date and I ended up sharing a couple of the apps. The goat cheese bites were delicious, each shit-sized pellet exploding with flavor (I mean that in the best way possible), and the elotes are a great way to break the ice by eating one of the messiest foods known to man. Plus they even give you Funyuns. The drinks are unique and deceptively strong, and after two cocktails, I found my flirting skills on par with Ross Geller dropping odorless gas facts (iykyk). Overall, for the dawgs out there looking for a place to take a date, I would give UT a solid 4 out of 5 antlers, the final one missing only because I did not assess an actual entree. Although young buccs aren't meant to be confined to the indoors, the view, drinks, apps, music, and general vibe create a stimulating, relaxed, and laid-back atmosphere for stags to flaunt their horns and stomp around in some mud with a potential mate. Happy swiping, friends. read more

This place was so much fun. We went on a Sunday for brunch. We made sure to make our reservation a few days in advanced since they had limited seating. It is a great place to go especially during these covid times. You are on a rooftop and you have a great view! The decor is super cute! All the staff are wearing masks and when ordering we had to wear or masks as well, which is good! I ordered the utopian special special sandwich which has chili and Mac & cheese. Delicious!!! My friend ordered avocado toast & she really enjoyed it. When we ordered they brought her the wrong plate but the mistake was corrected right away! The drinks were too sweet to my liking. I tried a couple different ones & they were not that great. I should've ordered a beer. Buuuut my friend did enjoy hers. I really enjoyed my brunch here! read more

On Sunday there's free parking on the street. It's right next to the 24 hour starbucks. The bar itself is on the fourth floor of the building. The place itself is very colorful and has many areas to sit and chill. There's huge connect 4-esque thingies as decor and benches and a tire swing chair. And fake grass all around. Good effort. The inside looks jank though. Terrible customer service. Wasn't helped for awhile. Then we ended up moving a total of 3 times because of terrible miscommunication between staff. They kept making us move and when we would move, they told us we couldn't be seated where they told us to go? It was so annoying and messy. There were so many people walking around too but we were told not to walk around even though our masks were on. The drinks weren't anything special either. Overpriced and underwhelming. Wouldn't come back here. read more
