I am a returning customer, great service the first time! Brought my brand new car 3800 miles that was unfortunately swiped on the side in a parking garage to be repaired and everything was great. However, once picked up my car there was a chip in windshield and although he doesn't do glass he proceeded to tell me it must've been from a rock he stated we didn't drive it so we couldn't have done it. They refused to take responsibility and no apology. Do not go here unless you want extra damage that you have to take care of. Lost a customer for sure. read more

What can I say? This was an all around great experience. Jennifer was very knowledgeable and efficient. The communication from her throughout the process was top notch. I never had to wonder what was going on or reach out to them because she was on it. They had a rental waiting for me and my vehicle was done when they said it would be done. As for aftermarket parts that tend to not line up very well? You wouldn't know it in this case. They definitely went the extra mile to make sure everything lined up perfectly. So much better than the last body shop it was in where the bumper didn't really line up with the hood or fenders and they said it was normal with aftermarket parts and nothing they could do. First off I want to say they repaired one of my cars in the past and did a great Job! Brought my daughters car in for a estimate. Our insurance company told my wife that if the pearl white paint didn't match the bumper after the repairs were made they would repaint the car if needed. My wife mentioned this to Rick and he said no insurance company would repaint the whole car. Not sure why this irritated him but he told her to save her breath and go somewhere else. We never expected them to repaint the whole car but if it was noticeable we asked them ask them anyway. Really thrown off by the rude comments. I know they are busy but really! Now have to start the process over with someone else! read more

Well I went in for estimate, very quick and efficient and all work was explained to me with paper and pen, (no computer), dropped car off, quick and easy! Love seeing your workers driving consumers cars all crazy and off road swerving in and traffic? Be cool man no accident is worth it. Idk if the consumer would appreciate you recklessly driving there car up roseville rd like you did almost causing numerous accidents while you drove like you had been drinking. I took my car here a couple of weeks ago for repairs to the side door of my van and rear quater panel. The quote and paperwork went very smoothly and I recieved my van back in the timeframe that was estimated. However, when I recieved my van back the power to my radio and console kept going out. So I took the van back and the person who helped me said that the battery probably died while it was in the shop. She asked if I had a battery charger at home and I said that I do not. She said to just run the engine for 20 minutes and it should be fine. I took the van home and did this. A couple hours later I received a frantic call from my wife saying that she almost got into a major accident because the van just died while she was making a left turn with incoming traffic coming at her. She was able to drive the van home. When she got back I opened the hood and the positive battery cable was barely touching the terminal. I enclosed a picture. Between that incident and the quality of the repair (there are some specks of dust under the paint) I would not recommend Utopia for body work. The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of one was that the vehicle was returned on the estimated date and they were friendly. I would have included pictures of the paint blemishes, however, my camera is not that great. read more

I have never been more pleased as I was with Utopia Auto Body. My car was involved in a hit and run. Utopia took the stress out of a Stressful situation. Jennifer gave me an estimate and the time it would take to repair my car. Everything was in writing and their work was quarantined. Update: About a year ago we took our SUV to the shop for the passenger side back door to be replaced and painted. They did a great job on the body work but apparently I didn't inspect the car as well as I should have. We noticed a while later that the paint doesn't match. The silver is slightly darker. Very disappointed. Their prices are reasonable and their customer service is exceptional! We've taken three cars there now and each time we've been more than impressed with the quality of work and the way they've worked with us on a good price. read more

This has been my best body shop experience ever! Rick and Jennifer in the office were very nice and professional, calling me weekly to update me on the progress of my car repairs. When I got my less than 1 year old Mercedes back from them it looked fabulous and I could not even tell there had ever been anything wrong. They were able to do all of this in about 2 weeks which I thought was amazing considering it was 11,000 in damage and some of the parts had to come from Germany since it was so new. Such great service!!! I only spoke and met with Jennifer and Rick but I am well aware of the myriad of people that it took to get my 2012 Golf to look as great as it did prior to my accident. Rick went over all aspects of the repairs on the estimate and then walked me around my car and showed them to me as well. I was very concerned about how it would handle post getting sandwiched between two cars and he assuaged my concerns completely. My car was stolen on April Fools night... then found luckily a few days later, here's the deal, Rick helped me get my bumper replaced cuz even from a prior kid versus snow bank inci "dent" the joy ride caused additional damage. He then not only told me about " Wipe new" to use to get my old stuff looking newer, but then texted me a pic to make sure I found the right stuff. Horrible, horrible place to take your car. I do not recommend this shop. They messed up the entire interior of this car. My carpet is falling out, my side interior panels are falling out because the lost multiple clips for the carpet and interior paneling. Had to take it back three times until they finally stopped picking up my calls. This is the worst place to repair your car and it's a shame AAA sent me here and a shame that they are even related to kinesles. read more
