Terrible service and complete denial of responsibility. I will never come back here and do not recommend this shop to anyone. On May 20th, we brought our Ford Transit-250 to this shop due to a coolant leak. During the repair process, they raised the price four times: first about $1,100, then $1,800, then $2,400, and finally charged us $3,084.52. We were able to pick up the vehicle only on May 23rd, but it immediately broke down just a few minutes later. The shop was closed for three days and only performed diagnostics on May 27th. After that, there were disputes, complete denial of any responsibility, and refusal to cover the damages. They then tried to charge us an additional $4,651.70 for a transmission replacement, claiming this was a new issue unrelated to their work. We were only able to retrieve the vehicle on May 29th, and today, June 2nd, we are finally starting the real repairs at another shop. During all this time, our business has been incurring losses due to the vehicle downtime. An independent evaluation confirmed that the exhaust manifold bolts were left loose during their repair, causing significant exhaust leaks and possible thread damage. The report also found oil leaks from both valve cover gaskets, transmission failure, and the "Check Engine" light on - all of which appeared immediately after their repair. I have sent an official demand letter to the shop requesting compensation for the damages. If my demands are not met, I will file a lawsuit and will definitely obtain compensation. In court, I will seek a much higher amount, including business losses, legal costs, and compensation for moral damages. This shop not only failed to fix the problem but also wasted almost two weeks of our time, caused business losses, and is trying to avoid responsibility. This place is amazing. I had to take my car here because it was under warranty from Carvana. FYI, do not buy a car from Carvana. Luckily, I was under the warranty still within the three days that I had purchased the vehicle I felt a shaking in the steering wheel and I knew it was not normal so I utilize the warranty luckily since they only give you a 30 day warranty and I understand now why because Carvana's cars are BS This was one of the places that was covered and that they recommended on caravans list. Which I'm glad they sent me here because they were so awesome! Nam is amazing! He has excellent customer service really took the time to explain what was going on and also agreed that there was something wrong so they kept my car for a few days to test out the shaking in the steering wheel that was occurring and sure enough the car needed a new transmission. So they ended up doing the work replaced my transmission which luckily was under warranty, so I did not have to pay for anything. This was almost a year ago and my car is running great. I was a little skeptical because I know transmission is a big issue and wasn't sure how well they would do but they took really good care of me and my car. I would definitely recommend this place. The first place I called couldn't get us in so next on the list was Auburn Auto. Thai was the extremely knowledgeable young woman who helped us. Unfortunately they didn't have the part we needed and neither did anyone else. She called across the country looking for the specific part but it was on back order. It took a few weeks to get the part in but as soon as it was there, Thai called and had me bring the truck over. They had it fixed the same day. Thai and company were absolutely wonderful. She knew we were in a bad position and did everything she could to remedy it. My husband had to go back home after Thanksgiving but I was able to stay with our daughter. Check engine light came on the Jeep and I took it here and I'm glad that I did as they are Friendly, Professional and made me feel like they will solve the issues properly and they did and boy was it an issue- Blpwn Head gasket n a few other things. I brought my truck in because antifreeze was all over my driveway under my truck and when i turned on the heater my whole truck smelled like antifreeze. They did a full inspection and sent me pics of the leaking heater core and water pump. They contacted my extended warranty company for me and got it covered. They not only saved me time but they saved me a-lot of money by taking the time to do that for me. They sent me pics of the damage and talked me through what needed to happen. I came in with a non functional AC and an overheating issue and had been quoted almost $1,200 dollars by another shop to fix the problems. AAS properly diagnosed the issues plaguing my beloved road trip machine and save me nearly $700 by finding the actual causes of my issues and not tryong to sell me on repairs I didn't need. I went in at 10am and they told me they would try to get me a repair plan before they closed for they day because they were abosolutly SLAMMED with business. I went home and got a call at 1:30PM outlining the problems they found, the solutions they reccomended and the cost for the repairs. After agreeing to the repairs they called me back around 3PM to tell me the work was complete. I picked up my car and drove around for a little over half and hour to make sure the issues were fixed and was very happy to see that my car was back in great shape again. I brought my 2013 Honda Civic to Nam at Auburn Auto Services because there was an unusual noise when making turns and it also was making noises when accelerating. I live about 30 minutes away from this shop but because of the online reviews I read about how good Nam was at diagnosing car issues, I made the drive over and after having my car repaired by Nam and his team, I am now so relieved that I made that decision! Throughout the whole process from diagnosing, to giving me options on repair/replacement, to just giving me periodic updates, Nam called me personally and let me know how the repairs were going and what the timelines were going to be. Personally, I prefer when a shop takes their time to do their thing because as an apprentice auto mechanic, I know that rushing things causes the most issues. I never felt pressured to do any repairs and I knew Nam was honest when he recommended future maintenance. My car now drives like new! It's so smooth and I can tell Nam and his team did a great job on the repairs on the exhaust and axle, and replacement of the motor mounts. I had been hearing a noise coming from the transmission of my car. I also had an an oil leak at the turbo. I took my car to Nam at Auburn Auto Services, and not only did I have those problems, but I also had an oil leak at my oil pan and the timing chain cover. He also said I had a knock in my engine! All of which Pep Boys failed to tell me the 4 different times I took my car there for help!! Turns out I needed my motor replaced! Nam was awesome!! Once the motor came in, it took him a whole 2 days to completely replace my motor!! Not only that, but he gave me a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty to go along with it! Nam was a life saver because had he not found these problems and fixed them, I would have ended up screwed!! Had my 2018 Hyundai Elantra towed to the dealership in February 2025. I was told that my timing belt needed to be replaced but it would cost me $4500. Not willing to pay that amount, I decided to look up auto shops in my area. Auburn Auto Services was the first shop that came up in my search engine and I noticed this place had nothing but 5 star reviews so I decided to give them a call. I spoke to Nam Monday afternoon and was given a quote in less than two hours. I had my car towed the next day and they begin working on my car. After replacing the timing chain, I got a call saying the cam and crank shaft was the actual issue (which means Hyundai misdiagnosed my car). Although it took a few weeks for my car to get fixed, Nam was in constant communication with me giving me updates regularly, the price was extremely reasonable, the warranty was great and my car is running like a brand new car. Auburn Auto will now be my go to shop whenever I need my car fixed. I recommend them to anyone that needs their car fixed. They deserve more than 5 stars read more

To me, these guys are the best mechanics in the Sacramento area. For those who want to cut to the chase - they are good, fair and honest; and should be at the top of the short list of great mechanics for anyone living in the Sacramento area. Here's why I feel this way. I had a nightmare scenario, I live 9 hours away, I was passing through for work and had a meeting up north later in the evening when my car (2016 Camry) started to die on the freeway. I'd purchased my car through Carvana and got the extended warranty. so I called for road side assistance then set out to find a mech in the area that does warranty work for Carvana - these guys were the closest but closed for the night along with everyone else. I had my car towed there that night, not knowing what to expect the next morning. The next morning I was supposed to be driving down to San Diego for a critical business function the following day, that could not be missed. I was mentally preparing myself for renting a car to make sure made my San Diego meeting. First thing in the morning, they put a rush on my vehicle, handled the entire warranty situation and went above and beyond the entire time to help ease my situation in any way they could. Mind you, they diagnosed my situation quickly (wiring harness problems) but they had me back on the road even before my motel's noon check-out time. If I could give them 100 stars I absolutely would! This Place is awesome! Saved me from a huge loss and helped when they didn't have to. I bought a car off Craigslist and got scammed. I literally didn't make it 10 minutes up the road and smoke started billowing out of the engine. Luckily I pulled into this shop. The owner jumped right on it and helped figure out the problem. Of course it was a disaster. I was just going to give up the car and take the loss. He said he would take the car and try to fix it. I pretty much just thought it was a complete loss and moved on. Awesome! Fair and excellent price for my car repairs. My 2002 Lexus sc430 needs a lot of maintenance work. It's old and with 120,000 miles means shelling out a lot of cash but this didn't hurt as bad as I thought. It's definitely far less than Lexus dealers and less than my regular mechanic. I was referred to this shop by my boss that recently had work done here. Nam took really good care of me. My car had overheated on the freeway on Father's Day so I had to wait until Monday to have my car towed. He was friendly and reassuring over the phone. An hour from having my car towed he called me and identified the problem and provided a fair and reasonable estimate. He said my car would be ready the same day. I was shocked by the quick turnaround. I had to have two heater hoses replaced. While there he mentioned I was due for an oil change which I was fully aware of so I had him take care of that as well as replace signal lights that were out which I was also aware of. When I picked up my car he showed me the broken heater hoses and explained to me where they were broken. My car is fairly old it's a 2009 Buick Enclave so he said it's just something that happens as cars get old. All in all...excellent customer service, friendly, efficient and honest.
