They also found and fixed some other things I had forgot about and/or didn't realize. It's not a fancy shop. It's a work shop where they do the work. If you want coffee and a massage, take your car to the dealership. If you want actual technicians who can sort your transmission problems out for a good price, Red D is the go-to.

Botched brake repair jeopardized the life of me and my son. When confronted about the negligent…read morework, the owner, Peter became defensive and belligerent. I am sending him a demand letter (see pictures) today and am prepared to follow up with a complaint to the Bureau of Automotive Repair and file suit. Other work was ok, but not problem free. I see that the owner responded to my review. My friend did indeed work on my brakes. He replaced the rotors and the brake pads. He didn't touch the hydraulics. Sunrise Auto did the work on the hydraulic lines for the left front wheel brakes. The failure of my brake system occurred because the brake line work was not properly done. Sunrise Auto placed the flexible brake line where it would rub on the inside wheel well, ultimately causing a break in the line and a failure of hydraulic pressure. As I said, this botched repair job put my son at risk of serious bodily injury or death from traveling in a vehicle with no brakes. Here's my personal message to you, Peter. You evidently ignored my demand letter because I didn't receive payment. The next step is the Bureau of Automotive Repair. And after that I will pursue other legal remedies. I hope the readers of my review and your response will take heed and will take their business to another mechanic who performs reputable work.

And his son Alex is covering for him. He is allowing him to bring these vehicles to his shops property while he walks away with our money. I heard a loud clanking noise like something was loose. After the diagnostic, they found out from the inspection that front sway bar end links were loose and they tightened them for me. Only after that did they do what I came in for which was transmission drain and fill and replaced the fluid filter and pan gasket. They were professional and incredibly helpful. They mentioned it looked like the torque converter. I took it to Scotty he was fair and square. He quoted me $90 to look at it and then $4100 to rebuild it. The transmission is smooth I am happy and I saved about $2000 over the dealership. I just came back from my two week check up there are no leaks everything looks great and I am one happy customer. I have to say their level of customer service and the way they interacted with me talking to me as a partner and not down to me as a woman with a transmission problem I am impressed!! Update as of February 16, 2020: It turned out that Ford sent two bad torque converters and warranted them to Scotty's. Scotty pulled my transmission twice to fix the problem. Each time he was friendly and solution oriented I am so impressed with the integrity of Scotty and Brian and A-1. I called Silva Motor Group around 3:30ish today and asked if they had time to change my oil today. Told me to come on by so I showed up a few minutes after 4pm. Had the oil changed and the keys back to me at 4:23pm. Not only was oil change super quick, the cost was super reasonable, and Chanel's customer service over the phone as well as in person was exceptional. Some places will really have you feeling like you're dealing with robots and the experience is really nothing special, but my experience here really stood out and I will be back here for sure the next time I need an oil change. UPDATE 4/9/26: I ended up going back to get the engine and inverter coolant flushed on my car and they really went above and beyond. I got the same lovely customer service, quick/reasonable turnaround time, and the tech even reattached a part of the skidplate that was hanging off the front of my car making it look janky lol. I have a couple more issues I need taken care of and I will definitely be taking my care back here soon. Thank you so much! 10/10.
