Very good experience here. Had failed smog due to a leak from my catalytic converter. I called ahead and was told to come on in for an inspection to find out what needs to be done, after work I drove right there and was able to pull in immediately. We found out that I could get my leak welded over instead of needing to buy a whole new cat and they did just that. (Quote for the cat + labor was nearely 500$ less than 2 other shops quoted anyway). The gentleman (can't remember his name, but cool guy) who worked on my car also fixed my exhaust leak(s), installed new gaskets, put on hangars that I hadn't gotten around to installing, and informed me that my engine mounts are going out (car is unnecessarily jerky). Mark Price at All Muffler Service deserves 10 stars! Last night, during the bad storms that have hit the Sacramento area, my car was damaged by something on the road. I did not see it, but I definitely heard the impact, and immediately my car started making the loud roar that suggests an issue with a muffler or other exhaust component. I called Mark around 8:30 this morning, and he told me to come right in. Immediately upon my arrival, he got the car up on his lift, and started looking for the damage. He saw a hole about the size of a quarter in one of the cat's. As he showed me, there was no damage beyond the part's outer metal casing, He then offered two approaches to fix it We could simply patch the hole, or I could drop over a thousand dollars to replace the damaged piece. He was pretty confident that the patch would be enough, and even offered to credit me for it, if this was insufficient and I needed to do the part replacement I gave him the go ahead to do the patch, and he went right to work. In less than an hour, he was done, and the car was running as quietly as ever. I should mention that this car is more than 20 years old, so less expensive repairs that solve problems makes a lot of sense. Mark knew just what to do, and he did it very promptly and properly. As always, he was also the nicest guy in the world. He makes his customers feel like friends. I highly recommend All Muffler - it is an excellent repair facility. read more
