I moved to the area last year and needed to find a new mechanic I could trust. After posting in a few Jeep groups asking for recommendations, Auto Haven was recommended by almost everyone -- and now I completely understand why! The first time I brought my Jeep in, they quickly figured out what was wrong and got it fixed for me. Fast forward a year later, and Auto Haven has officially become my go-to mechanic and the place I recommend anytime someone asks where to take their vehicle. What I appreciate most is that they are honest, knowledgeable, and straightforward. They take the time to explain what's going on, they don't try to sell you things you don't need, and I always feel like I'm being treated fairly. Their communication is great, the service is friendly, and they genuinely seem to care about taking care of their customers. Finding a mechanic you actually trust can be difficult, so I'm incredibly glad I found Auto Haven. Nico has taken great care of my Jeep every time I've brought it in, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable shop. Definitely a 5-star experience and a local business I'm happy to support! read more

First visit was to have A?C system on my 1965 Thunderbird conversion from R12 Refrigerant to upgrade R134a with original A/C system. Now have a properly function A/C system with cold air. Pricing fair, and quick service. Nico and Brian worked very well with me on this. read more

My 1991 Jeep Cherokee desperately needed service/repairs on the A/C system. I had been turned away by other shops, they were saying you can't get parts because of it's age, etc. I asked for a recommendation on FB and 2 people advised I go to Brian at Auto Haven in Roseville. We set up a time for me to stop by. Long story short, they repaired the aging A/C on my Cherokee and it works fantastic! I would highly recommend Brian and the crew over at Auto Haven in Roseville! read more

First time brought in because they can work on jeeps- the reviews sold me also- Nico and Brian owners are cool. They are for real - they get it and are not a plug play type operation. Nico said He'd like to get his hands dirty and take apart one unit to determine if it is a simple fix rather than buying a new one- who does that??? Nico does. Fast pros, down to earth- will go back for follow up - believe all the reviews! read more

Really glad I found this place! It's definitely no-frills, nothing fancy and straightforward service. The owner told me exactly what my car needed (and what it didn't), gave me a quote, and got it done on time. No pressure, no upselling, just solid work and I left feeling confident in the quote versus how I felt after leaving the Toyota dealership. read more

Excellent service! Nico is the best! We took my daughter's car to a franchise repair shop And after spending $2200 for a coolant issue they told us it didn't resolve the issue and was going to be an additional $5200+ to replace the head gasket. So I was less than happy with their diagnosis and decided to take her car to Auto Haven. From day one the communication was excellent, the service was top notch, we had the car back within a couple of days, and it was only $340 to flush the system out again. Nico completed some tests and didn't see a need to replace the head gasket. Our problem was solved! I am forever grateful that my daughter found this company and we were able to get her car fixed appropriately and didn't end up with a money pit of problems. Highly recommend. read more

Great shop! Trust worthy! They truly care about their customers and the community! Highly recommend them for all your service needs!

A service oriented place that provides great service. Nico is super helpful and accommodating. They provide a clear picture of what they find and your options. It's also one of those places that knows engines and will actually work on it as in they will do cams, lifters, rockers...the whole works. I would highly recommend this place. read more

I had to get my 2015 Jeep Cherokee DRL replaced. In addition, the engine light went off before getting the car in for that appointment, and got a message about a throttle sensor. I had that one also replaced. A few weeks later, I went to get the smog test, did different driving scenarios, and ensured I had more miles registered to get the car ready. However, the oxygen sensor showed up as "not ready". I did not inform them when I got those parts replaced that I was due next month for the smug test. I called them, and they were great at letting me know if what they recommend does not work. Then, I can come in and they can get my car ready for the smog test. I took the car right after that, and it passed! :) I am happy they were transparent about prices and all my options. They are great people and a business! read more

Came to this shop as my daughters driver side window was not rolling up. I talked with Brian and Nico and they were great! They called me back and let me know that they did not have the part, but they would order it, and was surprised when they told me that they would have it done in a couple of hours. Got it back and everything works flawlessly. Great place and this is where I will be taking all of mine and my families cars from now on. Thanks for the great experience! read more

I am glad a couple people referred me to Brian at Auto Haven because I would not have come across him on my own since the shop is not in my immediate area. It was well worth the extra drive! Brian's communication and transparency were way above and beyond the norm for repair shops. He was very thorough in evaluating repairs the car needs now, or will need in the near future and very thoughtful in his explanation and the choices he gave us. By doing this, he gave us the option to save money in the long run because of the savings of doing the repair while he already had other parts off the car. The workmanship was excellent and the speed of the repair was very timely. We were able to get our main concerns, and other preferred but not required items, all taken care of for less than previous places we used and as a bonus got to deal with an extremely nice guy who is very communicative and responsive. This will be my go to place for our 2003 VW Beetle and other cars from now on, and I recommend others in the area give it a try or even if you're out of the area and have a large repair need, to reach out to Brian. Even before we were a customer, he took the time to explain some things and options to me. He never once made us feel like we were wasting his time. We are very happy with the repairs, the service, the communication, and mostly the fact that our dog could be happy again that she has her ride back. read more

Brian figured out all sorts of problems on my 1983 wagoneer that made it previously made it undrivable. Another place, previously gave it back to me , told me the new valves just need to break in, that it was my fault for taking them the car , thats why it wouldnt run , bunch of excuses, they said take it somewhere else that knows what they are doing. Well, Brian found a giant list of botched work from the other shop that had to be repaired properly and gave me extremely reasonable Pricing . Best its ever ran. Im super stoked that its finally driveable ! Cutrently, he has my 2000 jeep cherokee in there and if my 2020 wrangler ever needs work ill bring that in too. read more

These guys are awesome. They helped me out a ton...and they really didnt have to. I was looking at a used car for sale in the bay area. The carfax report showed that the head gasket had been replaced and the engine overhauled at Autohaven about 6 months ago. I called Autohaven and asked them for details of the work they performed because the carfax report was super vague. They took the time to look up the vin# for me and told me that while they had diagnosed the work and presented a quote, they didnt end up doing the work after all. The theory is that someone ended up buying the car at auction after they quoted the repair with the blown head gasket, and the new buyer repaired it to some extent, then is was either purchased or used as a trade in at the used car lot I saw it at. Autohaven said that they would reach out to carfax to get the maint records corrected. Thank you to the team at Autohaven!!!!! Disaster averted !!! Its nice to know that honest people who want to help the average joe still exist !!!!! read more
