Ok. I needed brakes replaced and cv axle replaced. I wrote to Ed on Yelp and he told me how much it would cost. He informed me if I bring my own parts he would put them on. I ordered my parts and came the next Monday morning. I was greeted...information taken and right away my car was taken back. He had the axle changed in 40 minutes...and over 1000.00 less than Honda. He then did my brakes which took maybe 30 minutes. Only 180.00 for both. I was so happy..I brought my brother to get hus brakes done too. I found Ed to be honest and he absolutely did everything he promised. He even went as far as telling KY brother things he did jit need done right now instead of just doing it. After having my alignment looked at by Ed on the recommendation of a trusted friend in the automotive business, I can see why this place has so many 5-star reviews. They couldn't find anything wrong with my alignment, and didn't want to charge me any money because they hadn't done anything. Ed did urge me to take my car back to my previous mechanic to correct what he found that was abnormal about my "new" rack and pinion unit. I'm convinced that Ed and his crew are completely honest. There is a small but comfortable waiting room, plenty of magazines to read and modern equipment for the alignment. Great service, great work, great price. There's really nothing to not like. Ed does great and honest work at a great price. Messaged him on here to get my front brakes done, use to do them myself but with kids now it's just easier to get them done. Got back to me the same day with a estimate for front pads replacement and rotors to be resurfaced, labor only, he could source the parts himself or you could bring them in. I opted to bring the parts in since I wanted specifically OEM pads, and even decided to do the rears to since he gave such a good quote on front. Only took a few hours and he called and let me know my car was good to go. Didn't try to upsell me anything I didn't need and came out to the quoted price he originally gave me, plus the rear pads and rotors at the same rate +10 since I had an electronic e-brake. I have a hard to align vehicle (other shops told me) I took to Ed's. They were able to align it in short time. Very professional they know what there doing unlike some other shops. I would trust them with just about any car. I had an unrelated to the alignment issue they looked at it and actually fixed it no charge. If you want your car/truck aligned the first time take it here. The only downside is you have to make an appointment atleast a day ahead but that tells you right there how busy the shop is because of there professionalism and honesty. read more

I was making my usual commute down Elkhorn for work when out of nowhere my car created an insane rattling/grinding sound. I slowed down and pulled to the side of the road to and with further application to my brakes the sound and rattle got worse. I proceeded to take my wheels off on the side of the road and use a flash light to see what was going on, but to no avail. The real kicker here is it was fast approaching 6:00pm with no real repair shop nearby (most of the repair shops nearby close at 6:00). I was stressed out and considering taking an Uber at this point, but fortunately I called this shop and explained my situation and they said they could take a look at it. So I drove under the speed limit 5 miles away from the initial incident trying with all my might to not use my brakes. Upon arrival the gentleman said the car sounds like something is rubbing or broken in the brake. He propped it up and discovered that one of the bolts on my brake caliper was missing. Dumbfounded he said it was not a joke and that my car could have potentially flipped if I had enough speed going. He was able to fix my predicament quickly and send me on my way to work! No fuss, no hassle and I really appreciated his honesty and willingness to help so close to closing. If you have some auto related concern don't hesitate to call him up! I called him in the morning, to explain an unexplainable noise in my 2014 MBZ GLK350 SUV. He said, "well bring by around 3 b/c it's already 10:30 and I'm booked solid. (Greatly, he was booked and STILL allowed me to come in) At 3 P.M. he promptly dropped what he was doing and took a quick spin around the block, then told me exactly (he said 100%) what the problem was; and it was the previous repair shop's mistake (improper brake pad installation). After I begged him to fix it, he told me to go back, get it fixed by the other shop, and save him from "having to do the work (and pay) twice". What can I say ? Deserves 20 stars ! read more
