Outstanding Service at Protech Auto! Finding an honest, affordable, and professional mechanic can feel impossible these days, but Protech Auto exceeded my expectations from start to finish. I recently had my shocks replaced, and one thing I really appreciated was that they allowed me to purchase my own parts while they handled the labor. Their pricing was extremely reasonable compared to other shops I contacted in the area, and the quality of work was top-notch. What really stood out was their customer service. After the repair, I noticed something that had me a little concerned, so I brought the vehicle back. Instead of brushing me off, they took the time to explain what I was hearing, pulled the car back into the shop, checked everything over, and had me back on the road in less than 5 minutes. That level of professionalism and customer care goes a long way. If you decide to wait while your vehicle is being worked on, their office is surprisingly comfortable. They have comfy seating, a TV, tablets, and even a gaming system if you want something to do while you wait. It's clear they actually think about the customer experience. It's refreshing to find a shop that is honest, knowledgeable, affordable, and treats people with respect. I was so impressed that I already told them when it's time for my brakes, they'll be the first shop I call. Thank you to everyone at Protech Auto for the amazing service. You've earned a customer for life, and I highly recommend anyone looking for quality work without getting overcharged to give them a shot. You won't be disappointed. read more

I brought in my 2024 Escalade V for an alignment due to some uneven tire wear I was getting. Turned out the other alignment shop that passed it previously left several bolts loose and didn't address one of my wheels sitting 7mm back. Glad the Protech guys were able to get it back in shape! They were quick, professional, and very informative of all the issues that were addressed. Will be back! read more

Protech Auto - 2024 Eacalade V - Auto Repair Near Me - North Highlands, California

I just assumed this was a cost-effective place for my auto body shop to get my tires aligned, but it turns out that Yelp loves this shop! I saw a 2021 Congratulations certificate from Yelp. My tires were aligned in April 2023. However, in October 2023, my tire store said my front tires were wearing down faster, and I noticed my car wasn't driving straight. I called ProTech to ask if the work was still under warranty. Turns out tires can get misaligned within a week, so there is no guarantee. However, Protech said to come in and let them have a look. $60 for a tire alignment if it ended up being necessary. I thought that was very reasonably priced. The technician drove the car up and down the driveway, but he couldn't detect anything. He hooked my car up to the tire alignment machine to generate a printout that showed my tires were still within acceptable alignment range. He also switched the front left and right tires with each other, but the car still drifts (I will need new tires soon). Normally, it would cost $20 to check the tire alignment numbers, but he kindly didn't charge me. What generous service to ensure customer happiness and satisfaction. read more

Great place! Brought my cars in for brake pad replacement. They were very good and good price.

I'd like to share my most sincere and enthusiastic feedback about Protech Auto! I recently brought my car in for an alignment, and the work was done at an exceptional level. I want to especially highlight Oleg -- he truly has golden hands. He's not just a mechanic; he's a master who brings a car back to life. Everything was done perfectly, with precision, care, and incredible attention to detail. The result is outstanding. My car drives like new -- smooth, straight, no vibrations, nothing to worry about. And on top of that, the pricing was very fair and pleasant. I genuinely believe this is one of the best auto shops in the city. If you're thinking about where to take your car, go to Protech Auto with confidence -- you will not regret it. Huge thanks to the team and especially to Oleg for the excellent work! Came in multiple times this year for alignment and for an issue with one of wheels shaking. They figured out that the axle shaft was bent and I needed to get a new one. This particular axle wasn't easy to find. Took several weeks to bring it, and eventually just bought a new one from Toyota but they were patient to hold the truck and installed everything perfectly. Legit professional clean shop with great workers. Oleg and Nazar thanks guys. read more

I have a pretty customized tacoma and needed my caster pushed forward. Pro tech understood they could go past Toyota OEM Spec so that I could achieve full articulation with my off road set up. 5/5 would recommend my friends and peers to go here. Awesome staff. If you need an alignment this is the place that you should visit. Stuff is very nice customer service is 100 out of 100. This place is always packed so you will have to make an appointment in order to get your alignment done. I have a friend that suggested this place to me I thought that this is another casual place that makes an alignment and then everything will go sideways. No, the alignment was done by professionals. They took their time and effor to get everything done. They did it like they would do for their own car. Oleg(the owner) took his time and did all repairs. I'm highly suggesting this place read more

I brought my 1996 4runner to Protech as a referral from CAtuned Off-Road (also a topnotch organization) after a 3 inch lift install. It had a major alignment issue and I was expecting the worst being that it was a salvage title. It could not have turned out better! The guys were able to diagnose and fix the problem for just a fraction if what I expected to pay. They are an honest professionals who I would recommend to anybody in need. Thanks Oleg! read more

I know owner for many years and always happy with service they offer. Will recommend this place to everyone!!!

In and out, running right. Oleg took all of 25 minutes to get my alignment done. He knew exactly the specs to get my lifted truck tracking correctly. He did all 4 wheels and warranties his work. One sign that you know a shop is good is whenever you see a bunch of nice cars outside just waiting for an alignment. I highly recommend Protech if you care about your car, but if not well you probably wouldn't be looking for an alignment anyway. read more

Let me start by saying: BEST ALIGNMENT, SUSPENSION, OR BRAKE SERVICE AROUND! Oleg is extremely professional and knowledgeable. I looked around for a weeks for a shop that would lower my mustang (lowering springs and adjustable pan-hard bar) and install new slotted and drilled rotors for a fair price. Oleg at Protech Auto was BY FAR the most reasonable place around AND he was able to do all the work in 1 day. Other places wanted 2 days minimum! And to top it off the alignment is top notch! Car handles great and now looks even greater :) Thank you Oleg, I will be coming back to you for all my future suspension, brake or alignment needs. read more

BEST PRICES IN TOWN, AND EXCELLENT SERVICE BY OLEG. Oleg has 5 stars because he really truly is very helpful. Oleg helped me out major. What one auto shop wanted was 100x more money than Oleg charged me to add freon to my air system. then he told me what the problem was, I have a leak, and referred me to a couple of places to get a new hose. The air conditioner in my car works amazing now and I can take these hot summers in Sac. I highly recommend Protech Auto and Oleg. I know I'm going back soon for some new rotors. read more

I've taken 2 of my cars there so far alignments. Nazar is awesome. He does a great job and goes above and beyond to explain any problems and the solution to fix them. I've used another place for the same car and it had the same problems at that point and they didn't say anything about it. Result was premature tire wear. Nazar went out of his way to solve the issues I was having. Also, they are very fairly priced. I will be back with all my cars and will recommend this place for sure. read more

I heard a new sound coming from the driver's side front end that sounded like a suspension sound so I brought my car back to Oleg to check out thinking it could be the tie rods or something else. He looked at it for free and determined the linkages needed more grease and added the grease again for free. He could have said other parts needed to be replaced but he didn't, he was honest and trustworthy and reinforced my desire to become a lifelong customer because he is a really good guy and a great mechanic. read more

When I first called I thought it was more than one person who works there, but it's a single garage auto shop. I thought I had to recharge my ac only because it wasn't blowing cold. When he checked on my car instead of cheating me, he told me that I had a hole on my freon tube. Very nice guy! I love the waiting room there because it blows cold air so it's relaxing and it smells so good in there. $40 to recharge ac is a great deal. read more

Oleg is an absolute pro when it comes car alignment. My wife's SUV was experiencing some unexpected alignment issues the night before she had to drive to Redding for work. My brand new RAM 2500 developed a case of road wondering out of no where. Took my truck to the dealership and they said the alignment was off and they corrected. The truck didn't wonder as bad but the steering was still off and started to pull to the right. Took my truck to the dealership again and they confirmed that alignment was "within spec" and there are no problems. They rotated the tires just in case. Got my truck back and right away I noticed that the steering was still off and still pulling to the right. The "covered by your warranty" wasn't really free anymore since it was wasting my time. A friend of mine recommend Protech Auto. I hesitated a little because I have never heard of this place but decided to give it a shot. The place was clean and organized. Oleg got my truck on alignment rack and informed me that alignment and the steering wheel were both off. Did the alignment and to my surprise he charged me a little more than half of what other shops usually charge for a truck alignment. Drove my truck home and the issues were solved. Drove better than I drove it off the lot brand new. Can't recommend this place enough! read more
