At the US Post office it is $9.85. The woman behind the counter charged me $17.71. When I asked if there was a mistake the woman behind the counter said post office rates have gone up. I said I sent one of these at the post office last year and it was less than $10. She said "no this is the current rate". I was in a hurry so I paid and left. Once I returned home I looked up the post office rate online and it is $9.95. I called and when I asked her about the markup that they have, she rudely said with an attitude "we are not the post office". I said "do you have a rate sheet so I know what I would be charged in the future if I brought another envelope?" She said "no, it is whatever comes up in the computer, I just work here. Complain to the manager." The envelope was already sealed and addressed, it just needed a priority mail postage. The way the price was presented to me was deceptive. I could understand if they charged a small fee or if they had to pack up an item and charge for that, but this was just a rip off. The woman behind the counter could have easily said that the price they charge has nothing to do with the price the post office charges. Instead she blamed the high cost on the USPS recently raising rates. Lesson learned, I will not be using A1A "rip off" Pack and Ship at Driftwood Plaza, 3830 S. When I entered the store there was no one waiting. There was a young lady arguing with what appeared to be her ex partner and and issue with her children being dropped off at daycare. I waited until she came to the counter. I told her she was sorry she was having a bad morning. She began to tell the other people behind me to do the self service kiosk and was quite rude. I told her it was not their fault that she was in having a bad morning. She then told me to go to go to the kiosk as she quit and that they never staff adequately. All I wanted was a receipt that the items I had (large boxes) were sent. I am handicapped and it was an effort moving the boxes. I tried to find out who the owner are to place my discontent, but I couldn't find the information. I just wanted you to know. We all have bad days and bad news, but we don't have to take it out on customers. Thanks for listening and maybe this employee just need some redirection or training.

The purpose of a Notary is to verify that the person signing the document is indeed that person by either reviewing their government-issued ID or personal knowledge of the person. The Notary does not need to know what the document says, and if it is confidential, they should not even be reading it at all. Mail seems to go missing from this Post Office location. On 2 separate occasions recently, I have…read moredropped off a piece of mail inside the lobby drop off slot and both times it never arrives to its destination (out of state) In both cases it is the same recipient. Considering I am putting my return address on these envelopes, and they don't get back to me I can assume they are being intercepted and stolen in the mail room itself. When the same recipient sends me mail, I do eventually receive it although it takes like 10 days to do so. Conclusion is it is an internal issue. I am beyond pissed off. Pretty sad when you can't even count on your mail ever getting to its destination.
