The office Manager was rude and told me that if I cared about my furnishing's/stuff that I should've purchased the additional insurance. they didn't care and claimed zero responsibility. I was told I signed a contract and shouldve read it. She was supposed to send me a piddly amount of $102 to compensate my losses and guess what, over two months later I still haven't received that insulting check. that didn't even cover someone coming to remove the greasy stains they got all over. if you care about your furniture and furnishings I would NOT use Two Men and A Truck Melbourne. They do not give a flying crap about their customers once your move is complete and if anything gets destroyed. This company is the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of working with. To begin with they've never been helpful or insightful with any step of the way only eager to make a dollar off someone else. The most recent issues however stem from my father's recent and sudden passing. Despite paying for the month of October and being completely moved out by the end of the month they demanded that I pay for another month because 'that's policy' whereas most other places prorate for early departure, also they offered condolences by stating it's worse for other people who move out at the beginning of the month stating they essentially have to pay 2 months for a unit they no longer need. I took myself off autopay because I felt a company like this would be all to happy to accidentally leave it for months and feared retaliation. Come November 29 I go in to pay, nobody answering phones, unable to pay over the phone because I'm "no longer renting there". I go in and ask the clerk who says I don't owe them anything and states someone else has been renting the unit. I ask if my account has been sent to collections despite the FACT I'm renting the unit and dude says no and that I don't owe anything. I thought maybe this company grew a heart, turns out it didn't. So today it is December 1st and I get a call from collections saying I owe them money plus an extra $50 'late fee' despite my efforts to try to pay them. They claim they charge in advance to which I asked why I didn't get charged when I was on autopay since I was in there a month ago, no adequate response. TLDR: This company is heartless, they are cheats and they don't have your best interest in minds. They are vindictive cowards that I wouldn't trust as far as I could spit a rat and I hope my message gets to people before they get taken for a ride like I have. 0/10 would rate lower if I could
