Avoid the USPS 77009 Cavalcade location if possible. The workers are control freaks, rude, and work as slow as possible. No sense of customer service or urgency for them. If you comply, then they might call you honey or baby or have a few minutes long chat with you while the line stays 8 people deep. After waiting for 25 minutes, I decided to leave. So frustrating. read more

The customer service at this post office is a prime example of why the USPS is struggling to remain a viable option for shipping goods. I came here to pick up a package and to ask why a hold mail order I had submitted was not being followed (another example of poor quality). I arrived at the post office five minutes prior to opening, and started to wait. Ten minutes later a postal worker finally opened the door to the counter (five minutes late). After getting in line, the single postal clerk on duty advised that anyone picking up a package would need to leave the line and go to a side service door for help. From that point, I and my fellow customers waited for FORTY MINUTES to finally get someone to open the door and help. Repeated ringing of the bell brought no response (although we could hear laughing on the other side), and finally after someone banged on the door and yelled for the door to be opened did we finally get helped. This is completely unacceptable for a service oriented "business." Had this been a private business they would have long since lost their clientele. Unfortunately we don't get to choose our post office. This post office needs to be "fired" for their poor service and quality. Please, if you have also had the same type of experience, let your voice be heard. Go to USPS.com - Contact Us, and leave feedback for them. Someone needs to know that this store is way below par and it needs to be addressed. read more

Shout out to Ms. Anthony for making sure everyone in line was treated with kindness, courtesy and respect. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. Major props to her. read more

Horrible horrible horrible! Only 2 people working (same ladies that have been here for the past 15 years) then one left to lunch at 3 pm (when they close at 5) leaving 20 plus people in line for one person. Waited over an hour! Horrible! read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Normally I wouldn't review city owned locations but after yesterday I felt the need. I stopped going to this location by my house for 6 months because it was always something every time I went in, whether it be the line out the door for a 40 min wait or rude customer service. Yesterday I decided to try again. I walked up to the counter with my package ready to go, only to get told I can't use an Amazon box unless the package is being shipped to Amazon. What? I have been mailing items for my business for years in used boxes. In fact, its highly recommended to reuse boxes for mailing to cut down on trash. I told her I never had this problem before to which she says "it needs a return label" and I said okay, I'll write it on the box. She said "no you can't do that". After waiting in line for 15 mins (shortest wait ever) I couldn't argue with her anymore. I was told to purchase a priority box for $14 to which I did. I emailed the postmaster to let them know of this illegal service. Now I remember why I drive longer to use the W. Gray post office. read more

Don't believe these negative reviews!! I was in and out of here in 5 minutes. I was greeted at the door and asked what i needed and everyone was very nice and courteous. Probably one of the best post offices i have ever been to. NOTHING negative to say at all. read more

Incompetent. Spent extra time have a heavy Craigslist item pre weighed & estimated so buyer could pay. It was no surprise when I actually shipped the item, the clerk had made a mistake that cost me. The people that work here really don't care. Sadly use UPS or Fedex if you can. read more

I went today, and there was a line of people waiting, many wanting to get their tax forms in the mail. I appreciated the polite attention given, with one clerk assisting folks in line with guidance, requested forms, etc., helping to speed things along. It took me 10 min or so to get to the counter - not bad considering the rush today. read more

Horrible service!! I waited in line for a long time.. That didn't bother me because I needed something shipped.. Once I got to the counter and the old lady rolls her eyes.. Asks how can I help... I was trying to ship some papers to a nearby place and she doesn't help or explain the different ways it can be shipped... She ends up charging me a ridiculous price... And I ask why... She said I explained it... Super rude no help at all, not even tries to help me. Straight up C***.... I would rather drive an hour to a post office than go this this one again... Horrible employees... read more

This is one of the best Post Offices that I have been to. I used to dread going to mail something, would avoid it at all costs, then started coming here. The employees are courteous, helpful, efficient and friendly. If the line is long it is not due to the speed of the employees; they make every effort to see that customers are taken care of as quickly as possible. To put the icing on the cake, they were friendly! Keep up the good work! read more

This is my favorite post office in the city of Houston. Everyone here seems to be knowledgeable and friendly. read more

It's a post office, location was good considering the main one on 11th closed, seemed fine if a bit rundown and easy to miss the parking entrance. read more

This is the most horrible post office I've ever been to. I am 0 for 4 tries on successfully mailing anything here and the staff are miserable, act like helping you is like pulling teeth, and very unpleasant to interact with. First, I went in looking for a large envelope and when I stepped out of line to grab the envelope so I could prepare it before getting to the counter (hello efficiency? Are you there?) she snapped at me to get back in line. So I left. Twice I went to drop mail in the box and the box was overflowing. Just now I walked over to mail some things that needed tracking and they are still trying to enforce a mask mandate even though I am fully vaccinated and therefore following CDC guidelines. They wouldn't even let me in the door. I will now be driving to other locations rather than walking to a convenient location and having to deal with people who seem to think their job is to make mailing things more difficult. I would seriously consider closing this location to save the money the USPS so desperately needs. read more

Save yourself the time, headache and stress of going here. You will get treated like crap, be spoken to rudely, lied about why your packages are missing and this is from their Supervisors nevermind the horrible I mean absolutely worst customer service from the ladies at the counter. Do Not, I repeat Do Not think that whether you are kind of firm will get you any kind of different result oh and don't worry they treat everyone and I mean everyone this way whether they are young/elderly, male/female, any ethnicity, you name it they are equally insulting, rude, liars, offensive and feel they are entitled to do this every single time there is interaction with anyone. Anyone posting a positive review has lied about it and is an employee there because if you see all the negative reviews they come from actual experiences there. Almost forgot expect long wait times and guarantee you will leave there feeling alot worse than you came in regardless of how good a day you have had. If I could give them no stars I would. read more

It's funny that someone would even consider this location as their favorite. After reading the reviews, I still went to this location because it is so close to work; however, big mistake. I got off early thinking that I would beat the crowd (3p). The line was literally to the door AND with NO AC! People were grabbing the mail envelopes to fan themselves. After standing for 10 - 15min and the line not moving, a man walk in with about 8 boxes and passes the line straight to the pay station. The worker haulted everything she was doing to help and talk to him. He looked like a frequent customer, but how inconsiderate when there's a line of 17 people waiting? Then I hear a woman yelling and complaining. She spoke so rudely about the workers losing her important mail and yelled for a supervisor. I left and went to the post office off IH45 and the beltway. Only a few people in line and they moved so fast that I wasn't completely ready when I got to the pay station. The worker even advised me that if I take my package back to FEDEX that they would ship it free instead of paying her. Very Honest woman. I was a huge box so I'm blessed to have went there. I guess I'll go leave them a positive review! read more
