I scheduled a passport appointment for my just-turned 16 yo 3 weeks ago. USPS called at 6:11 AM to inform me that my appointment was canceled and I would have to reschedule. I typically bring my packages in boxes not taped to allow for content verification. While visiting this location I was informed that I would be charged $1.50 for them to tape the box. The associate refused to accept my return unless I agreed to this additional fee. This is the first time I have encountered such a charge while making a return, and I found the interaction unprofessional. Due to this experience, I do not plan to use this location in the future.
