Saying, "If you ship it this way, you'll save a few dollars," is much more helpful than responding in a way that feels impatient or dismissive. Not every employee is this way, and I've met some very kind postal workers over the years. But the overall experience here often feels rushed and unfriendly. My only wish is this: when one difficult customer leaves, don't let that interaction affect the next person in line. Some of us walk in smiling, treating everyone with respect, and we're just hoping for that same energy in return. Instead of helping, they made the entire process unnecessarily frustrating and uncomfortable. Maybe consider taking a mental health day before you ruin others.
