Very slow service. All I had to do is drop off a package with a prepaid able. I finally walked out.

The UPS Store 922 Highway 81 E, Mcdonough Ga. I went there for a Amazon return. I have returned Amazon things before, you just go to the location and have them scan the QR code given to you for the refund. The girl told me it needed to be wrapped (it doesn't) so I wrapped it and put one strip of tape, she told me it wasn't enough tape and she would secure the package with tape for $5.00. That is not how that works. I told her I wasn't paying $5.00 for tape and the package is fine. She said I would be responsible if my package didn't reach the returns when its picked up. I left the package and asked her for a receipt. I called Amazon, they said she should not collect any money from me for any reason, and escalated the call into a formal complaint against the store. I called back the store asked to speak to a manager and she said they wouldn't be in until Monday. Those girls are in their collecting money from people that doesn't know they don't have to tape Amazon packages when they return them, and they certainly don't have to give them $5.00 for a strip of tape. read more

I brought in 2 packages, one had a pre printed shipping label the other an Amazon return. They lost both packages!! The Amazon one got scanned in but the other one was never scanned. I should have looked at my receipt before leaving but regrettably didn't until there was an issue. I would avoid this location. read more

Under new ownership with many new staff members. While the owner seems nice enough, the young lady there today (long braids, longer eyelashes) was quite rude and cutting me off as I was inquiring about lost packages. The service has gone done remarkably this year. Not sure I'll continue to do business at this location in the future. read more

I spent almost $80 on a Next Day Air shipment. It arrived late so I have visited this place 4 times trying to get my refund. I keep being told I need to speak to the owner who is never here. I called UPS corporate with no help. They tell me the same thing....I need to deal with the UPS store. FEDEX will get my business from now on. read more

This place is awful. The customer service is horrendous. One employee sat on the counter, eating her breakfast while facetiming and cussing in front of customers. The employee assisting me was too busy checking her watch for incoming messages. This is what employees get paid to do??? All I was doing was returning an amazon package and mailing an envelope. No fuss, not complicated. But they were too busy attending to their personal life to do any work. I will not be returning. read more

My package was a little heavy for me to bring inside the Store. One of the employees help carries a package for me from the door to the counter. The store is always busy and very clean. read more

I love going to this UPS store instead of USPS. They have everything I need and more. Today I was able to get something notorized. I sent a package last week with tracking that arrived the very next day. Greg, a sales associate in the store, gave me recommendations for printing they can do for me to grow my business. Flat out stole my package. I bought my mom a ring for Mother's Day and used their services to mail it to her. I delivered it about 2 or 3 days before Mother's Day to make sure it got there on time.(Note: there's two options for when you ship it out, one, pay for shipping and if they lose your package they're not responsible for it, or two pay extra to be refunded if they lose your package) after asking the worker should I pay the extra money he assured packages don't normally go missing so I opted to not pay the extra. I tried checking online to see if I could track my package but the website told me they weren't able to locate my package. I came back a week later after my mom told me she still didn't get anything in the mail, and when I drove up there to ask what might've happened they said that apparently whoever loaded everything into the truck never scanned my package and that's why I wasn't able to track it's location. I came back a week later to check back in and they told me my package was "lost" and that they'd try to call around to locate it. Obviously they're driver stole it because even though I couldn't track my package it still should've gotten delivered. Not scanning my package doesn't mean it shouldn't have been delivered. Whoever was driving that day my package was picked up intentionally didn't scan it and stole it. Even though I didn't pay extra, if one of their employees stole it they're automatically liable to give me a full refund for my stolen package. Do not trust these people with important packages, they're obviously not responsible enough to deliver it where it should be. As of now June 18th, 2023 my package still has not been delivered. read more

For the simple fact that I do not have to go the Post Office anymore, they get a great rating. They can do anything the Post Office can do except they do not look at you like you are a moron for needing to ship something. They are actually helpful. For box customers you get a physical street address, not just a PO box number, and can have packages delivered to, signed for, and stored at a secured location. The employees have always been helpful and I have never had to wait around for anything. read more

I really don't like coming here but it's close to my house. I'm not sure why they ALWAYS have a new person who is SLOW which creates a line. This store needs more than 2 people in the store at all times. Poor management and poor training. They could be more productive if the MANAGER would implement that simple fix. read more

The customer service and knowledge of the associates here has definitely declined. I visited this location on 2/12/19 and was informed by the associate Sydney that the cost to mail 2 standard envelopes USPS would be $18 each and that did not even include tracking WTH. After about 5 mins of me insisting that can't be the correct price to send an envelope regular mail, another associate stepped in to help and the final cost was less than $10 dollars for both WITH tracking included. The associate Sydney simply replied "oh I didn't see that option". That was definitely my last visit to a UPS store. I will utilize FedEx online or go to the dreaded Post Office for all of my mailing and shipping needs. read more

Heather the store manager is rude and disrespectful to her customers! They scammed my family and when I called to inquire about a refund for services NOT received after my father went to the location, she made racial comments such as "you people" and "if you were normal people". PSA- Even though the UPSstore.com says that they offer USPS services, including Priority Mail, according to the employees at the McDonough, GA UPS Store, they do not honor Flat Rate Priority mail prices. Just thought you might like to know. I would have liked to know before I sent someone there to take care of multiple shipping needs, including two flat rate boxes that they charged me $36.12 EACH. I will keep that in mind next time I need something shipped. @theupsstore read more
