I was here last week to make an update and the process was so easy by making an appointment first couple of days before and on the day of my appointment it was just in and out within 30 minutes. Great customer service and the lady at the counter was very helpful. Their is ample free car parking available in front of the office. The place is maintained clean and neat. Start your application online and, if necessary, schedule an appointment. If you are unable to use our online service, call and schedule an appointment to file for your Social Security card. Please visit their website or call their National 1-800 number for help. An appointment is strongly recommended. Without an appointment, you may have to wait in long lines. If necessary, they will schedule the next available appointment and serve you by phone or in-person. Save a trip! Create a my Social Security account from their website to request a replacement Social Security card, get a Proof of Benefits letter, and more. Unfortunately, whenever I go to this office, the wait time is EXTREME! The waiting room was packed with people in need of help. I applied for spousal benefits and two employees from Social Security gave me two different amounts that I will receive in benefits. There was a $300 difference per month. The lazy bones that assisted me, today, didn't know his job and he had to verify everything from another staffer. Plus, he didn't greet me when I first got to his window. He basically smirked at me throughout the entire time. He needs to be tested for drugs. When I told him how much I was told I'd receive, he said, "that's a lot." I said that's relative. I will be so glad when A I replaces these inept, lazy government leeches. They don't deserve unemployment benefits. read more

I decided to some to the social security office early so I could be one of the first people in and one of the first people out. There were about 5 people in line before me which was no problem because I knew there were plenty of windows one you get inside. The guys actually let the ladies in front to first. The security guard opened up the for at 840AM and gave a speech before letting us inside. There were managers ready and tickets in hand before we even got to the door. They instructed us where to go and let us know the windows would promptly open at 9. The parking lot was fairly empty when I parked and there is ample parking. The back of the lot is for the employees and there's a clear sign letting you know to NOT PARK IN ANY OF THE NEIGHBORING BUSINESS or there will be a boot. I didn't have any issues getting a new social security card and was in and out. I also filled the form out online and printed it beforehand. read more

INHUMAN TREATMENT received by SSA employees at this location in Georgia. each employee always has an unfriendly, rude, inappropriate remarks, abusive treatment which makes your visit/ phone call inefficient as a customer to conduct business or resolve your concerns. I filed a complaint against the inhuman treatment in July of 2023, I recently received a letter dated November 1, 2023, stating, they sorry about the delay, they will look into the situation and will be in touch with me soon as possible. The parking lot is very small. Do not park at the mall or other businesses in the area because if they see you, your car will get booted. The wait was long, but they seemed to be moving through the customers at a good pace. The representative that I got (window 19) was very snarky and seemed to be having a bad year. We asked to speak with a supervisor, who was very helpful and friendly, but I doubt that she cared much to do anything about the representative's bad attitude. If you have to go to SSA, I doubt that you going to get better service regardless of where you go...very unfortunate. read more

Trying to get my name changed on my social and the office is not open (COVID) called and was on hold for over 30 minutes finally got someone on the phone I have to submit all my Original (no copies but ORIGINAL) documents that means I have to send in my original drivers license and original documents with the raiders seal in the mail why can't a copy be proof.
