Normally they are nice at this location in Lake City but my last visit on a Monday was very bad. Customer Service just never entered the building. Rude for no reason at all, I just asked a question and instead of an answer I was told I could have my packages delivered to another location. It was not even a bad question. Stopped here while out on my break horrible experience . I asked for shipping rates to ship my out of town orders . Was quoted two prices I decided on the more cost effective option , she selected the more expensive one. Bruh crazy work. So I just went with the option and hated her attitude so I went elsewhere to send my other two packages off which was way cheaper. Horrible customer service and even worse if you are a small business owner she will select a higher option for you and not what's best or sustainable . Disgusting work ethic . From the warm, authentic greeting received by myself as well as every customer that walked in after me; Constance and Ms. Anna made me feel like I was home. I visit this location several times per month but normally depending on my shopping and returns to Amazon.com. Tom is the worse.. he lacks customer service and just lacks personality lol . The simplest hello, how can I help you will go a long way. I'v read other reviewers on yelp and they feel the exact same way I do. Because this location is the closest to my job and the easiest for me to do returns for online purchases. Since Tom been gone, It's much much more pleasant and inviting coming into the UPS store. The workers/ UPS agents are very helpful, respectful, and don't mind sharing their tape if you forget to tape up your box. I'm glad to give 5 stars for the personality upgrade! Awesome work guys! read more

I went to this store location around 9:am. The associate was so disrespectful to me. He stated that I shushed him and from there it was on. He stated that he was grown and I was a very ugly person. I tried to apologize to him to get him to come down. He cursed me out very good. I tried telling him he could not make me angry and I wasn't going to say bad things to him because I was 60 years old and a grown person too. At one point I thought he was going to leave the store un attended because he said he didn't own the store. I was trying to return an Amazon package and it was not suppose to go to this location. This location is close to my home, so I've gone here many times to return packages. When I first started coming here the gentleman I'm sorry but I don't know his name was very unwelcoming almost as if he HATED to even converse with me. Never a smile or when I said hello to him he barely responded. I hope for his sake his attitude changes, when you have a business you'll have to service ALL people if you desire to be successful. The two ladies who are there now are so pleasant and extremely helpful. What a huge difference it is now, their efficient and quick there's never a long line when I go there. As soon as I walked into this location, I got a bad feeling. The owner, Tom, looked like he had been baptized in lemon juice. He didnt speak or smile at all. He was being really short and getting irritated with another customer that was in the store. My mom wanted to fax some documents and Tom stated, "make up your mind because Im only going to fax it once" when he asked us if we needed the front and back of the docs faxed. Does it matter how many times something is faxed if we are paying for it?! I definitely will not be going back to this location. read more

Tom, the owner of the business, is both rude and unprofessional. A notice was left by UPS that I had missed my package delivery on 12/4 and that it could be picked up from this particular store after 1pm on 12/5. So, on 12/5 I went to the store to pick up my package. It wasn't there. I was told to call the number on the back of the notice to try and figure out where it was. After calling AND checking the UPS website, there was conflicting information. The website said that the package was going to be delivered now on 12/6 to my house, but an email notification said my package was at the store. It was all very confusing, so I called the UPS store on 12/6 simply to ascertain if my package was even THERE before I went back out to that store. Tom informed me (he was very brusk) that he receives hundreds of calls a day about packages and that he IS NOT UPS, so I needed to look online. When I told him I had and tried to explain the confusion with the notices, he interrupted me and said he would just look in the computer. Why couldn't he have just done that to begin with? He then said my package was there and basically hung up on me. Now, here comes my main complaint. I actually have to use this store monthly for this exact same shipment. I have multiple sclerosis and receive medicine from Novartis Company that helps me afford the medication. He has been consistently rude almost every time I come in. Customer service doesn't seem to be what his store is aiming for. He does his job. That's it. Back to what happened today (12/6) when I went it... I brought a notebook with me to write his name down so that I could make a complaint with his manager about his behavior. After asking him if there was a manager or if HE was the manager, he informed me that HE is the owner and that he didn't know what "my problem was" in front of two other customers. He said that his business wasn't UPS and that he had no control over UPS. I responded that my problem wasn't with UPS, that it was with how rude he was being. He then accused me of continuously calling him ( I called once right before I showed), and then after I said that he accused me of constantly coming by ( I came by the day before because I had a notice that my package was there.) I wasn't upset about the package and didn't act so, I just wanted to know whether it was at HIS store or not. I was horribly embarrassed by his attitude towards me and how he spoke to me. He informed me that I can get my packages delivered to another store instead of his from now on, and I will. I am at Clayton State University, which is very closely situated to this UPS Store and will be speaking with the head of Supply Chain and Logistics for the university (John Mascaritolo) to see what can be done to make sure that this particular store is not used by staff or students any further, or at least use this UPS Store as an example in classes taught about how NOT to treat your customers if you want to stay in business. I have already spoken with the UPS Store corporate office and filed a formal complaint. How they allow a business owner to represent their brand with a horrible attitude like this, I'll never know. I used to honk that it was just to black ppl, I am happy to see that I was wrong and he just has no customer service skills. The UPS on MT. Zion by Publix is so much better. I keep returning to this store thinking my previous experience was the exception, but the staff here has proved me wrong. I've waited a few months between visits so I can't say if it's the same individual or not, but I'm treated as an annoyance every time I stop by. I pulled this location up on my GPS and saw the 1.5 star rating but decided to give it a try anyway since I was close by. I mean I shouldn't have any problem just dropping off packages right? WRONG! When I walked inside, no worker was anywhere to be found. After waiting a few minutes, TOM finally came from the back. He didn't apologize for the wait, say hello, or anything. He clearly saw that my packages were not taped up, but didn't tell me that I had to have them taped until after he scanned my codes. I explained to him that UPS always tapes my Amazon returns for me, and he rudely said "Well not here when people return 150 packages a day." So I walked next door to Dollar Tree to buy tape. I went back into UPS, and Tom gruffly took my packages and gave me my receipt. It's so sad that someone who calls himself an owner acts this way. How can a business owner be so rude to a customer that they end up leaving you a bad review while they were in your store only to drop off a PREPAID package?? I asked for a drop off receipt and the guy barked back at me saying he can't give me one and I would l have to take it to a different location. This guy is the owner! I honestly wish i could give this store and it's owner "tom" less than one star and still write something. When returning an Amazon package in a box with all the paperwork he informs me that i have to pay 3 dollars to him so he would ship it out... said the shippong was covered but packaging not. Excuse me? It only needs tape and the slip holder. He begrudgingly gave me the slip holder but was determined to charge me for one piece of tape. I bought a roll for $3.20 taped it myself and he took it with attitude. He was also rude to all the other customers while i was in there.
