I went to file a claim and UPS told me that they never received the package. Therefore, I could not file a claim. I then contacted the UPS store and they refused to help me in any way. I then informed them that I would never use them again, and the woman I was speaking to hung up the phone on me. The people at this UPS Store are inept at their job. They have no idea what they're doing, and that's why they lost my package. This is inexcusable, and I filed a complaint with the UPS customer service. Here's an update to my review: Here's how the "Local Business Customer Service" responded to my original review: "This is concerning to hear, Zmoonchild L.. We are forwarding this to the appropriate team right away and will look into this further. Please reach out to us at CustomerRelations@UPSStore.com so we can follow up with you." Here's my response to the "Local Business Customer Service" You are NOT concerned about anything. That's a complete lie. Otherwise, the store wouldn't have hung up the phone on me when I called them. Had I been told about the charge during my initial visit, I would have appreciated the opportunity to decide whether to proceed. Instead, I was given inaccurate information and only learned of the fee after the service had already been performed. The issue is not the $10 itself, but the lack of clear and consistent communication. Customers should be able to rely on the information provided by staff, especially regarding pricing. Being quoted one price--or in this case, no charge at all--and then being charged afterward creates confusion and undermines trust.
