I was in the office on Marlboro Pike today at 5 pm, the gates were up and two workers were assisting two customer's, as I proceeded to the counter a worker told they were closed and I couldn't be helped. I had one letter that needed to be mailed, (I needed to buy stamps). The postal worker insisted that I couldn't be helped, I asked for the supervisor, he looked at his watch and proceeded to tell me no, two customers still at the counter. What's so sad about this is they literally spent 3 minutes telling me no and refusing to service me. Thank God for Amazon!!! That's why they get to keep their jobs. Terrible service. I had a package that was supposed to be delivered on a specific date. The tracking notes stated a notice was left. No notice was left because I didn't even have mail delivered that day. Next I go to the post office to check on the package no one can find it. I leave my name and contact information no call or updates. When you call the post office to check the status an employee picks up and says why would it be here if its scheduled to be delivered. Why wouldn't it It's been a week. Do not use this post office, if you do just schedule to pick it up. I wouldn't want to buy stamps or an envelope from this location. read more

This is the worst post office ever. It's as though the businesses in the "hood" really just don't give a crap. Anyway, I ordered some lipstick offline to send to my cousin for her birthday (Nov. 10). Simple enough, right? I even threw in some pigments for myself as a treat. Both these packages were ordered on the same day (Nov. 6), virtually back to back. I received my pigments the very next day, (thank you, Makeup Geek!) while my cousin to this very day has not received her lipstick. Today is December 15 just to give you an idea of the timeline. I was made aware through tracking that supposedly the package was "out for delivery" and a notice was left for no secure location. When I called USPS, I was informed that the lipstick had never even been out for delivery. WHAT?!? The rep promised to put in a re-delivery request and launch an investigation as to why the package was never shipped. 5 days later I get an email saying the package was returned to sender. SMH. The makeup line has received the package and is planning to reship to me. I hope they use FEDEX this time. read more

I think all Post Offices are the same, it's always one or two people helping and a line of people waiting. But this one was pretty good. They had 2 associates trying to work the line to get people in and out as much as possible. I went for a passport appointment and it took 30 minutes top at the most. Very helpful. If you have a debit card you may get in and out faster. read more

I have been trying to call the Main Post and stayed on the phone for more than 45mins., My problem is my mail was thrown on the floor on Nov. 29, not put in my mail box. I live in Oakcrest Towers, I found it this morning, my box was not full, it only had 3 pieces of mail in the box and the rest on the flr. What lies are being told, or what was taken, this has never happened before. The regular postman must have been off. read more

This is one of the worst USPS locations ever. I paid to have a letter delivered to Washington DC because it needed to be verified as delivered. They sent it to Atlanta GA. I paid to have a box delivered to Durham, North Carolina via Express mail. It took 10 days to get there and then they wanted the receiver to come pick it up, which they could not, so it was returned to me. Today, I called them to inquire where the package DHL delivered to them on January 18th for delivery to me. They stated that it is too large for the mailbox so they are holding it. If you are holding it, WHY have you not put a notice in my box to indicate that????? Then when I checked the tracking number, it states that the I requested that they hold the package. Come on, if the box was out for delivery and too large for my box, should I not get a notice? The box in question is small. I have an Over-sized locking mailbox. I am home all day most days. My package never left that post office. They are do this type of stuff all the time. USPS is working themselves out of business. read more
