We stopped by on a recent Saturday afternoon while passing through town. Very cozy spot right on the Main Street! This brewery has a good sized menu of both brews and food choices! My husband and I tried a couple of beers and appetizers! We were impressed by both beers we tried - he got the stout and I tried the Amber, both delicious! The staff were friendly and the service super quick!! You place your order at the counter and they'll serve your drinks up right away and bring any food choices out to your table in no time! We only tried appetizers but we saw them making smash burgers in the back and those looked super tasty - we'd like to drop by again for a meal!! :) read more

After a long day of travel I came in for a solo dinner. On a Wednesday evening in August it was pretty busy by 6pm and getting busier! My olive burger and cider were excellent. I tried the chips and the fries too and both were good, though I preferred the fries. If you're from out of town (like me), you gotta try to olive burger. I visited for the first time this weekend and I already cannot wait to come back! The folks here were super kind, greeting me and ready for me when I was ready to order my spread. I found a quiet corner in a window and it was the perfect spot for what unfolded next. I ordered the cherry cider and the Asian chicken sammich with the waffle fries and was blown away. The fries were hot, seasoned, and crispy. The sandwich was OUTSTANDING. The chicken was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside and had a nice low kick from the sauce. It was just what I needed as a day visitor. I could see stacks of board and card games in a corner so next time I think I'll bring a friend. On a recent trip to Michigan hubs and I stopped here for lunch. He got a burger which he loved and I had the pretzel. Both were noteworthy. The bartender was incredible waiting on tables and getting drinks. She was really busting her butt that day. In the ensuing food coma i walked off and left my purse. It was almost 20 minutes before we realized and we immediately turned around while frantically trying to call them. There is no number to be found, the only way to contact them would have been through their Facebook page. That is really my only complaint is that we weren't able to call to make sure it was there. I walked in, she immediately recognized me and brought me my purse. I couldn't thank her enough. Food is incredible so if you're in the area, give em a try! read more

This is a lovely little brew pub and you can tell that it is popular with the community. I had a caprice toasted cheese with waffle fries, and it was quite good. The beer was very tasty too. Parking is on the street (unless there was some in back that I didn't see), so if downtown is busy, you may have to walk a bit, but there are several cute shops to enjoy on your walk. read more

Absolute 10/10!! Service was amazing, the bartender/server was THE SWEETEST! The food was quick, hot, and delicious. I had the plant-based chicken sandwich, I seriously couldn't tell it was plant based, SO good. My boyfriend had the classic smash burger, he said it was one of the best burgers he's ever had. We also had the soft pretzel for an appetizer, I swear it came out 2 minutes after we ordered. It was DELICIOUS, the beer cheese was amazing, and the everything seasoning made it all 10x better! The place is really nice, there's artwork on the walls that we were staring at constantly, and it was VERY clean. Really cool place!! read more

My wife and I stopped in for lunch, she got a grilled cheese (which came with a cup of tomato soup), and I got the mushroom smash burger. Both were excellent, as was the service. The food was much better than most breweries, and the beer also did not disappoint. Useless Creature's is worth going out of your way to try, we will come back if we're in the area. read more
