I was feeling wacky and got something I've never gotten before: a sourdough melt! I requested a single patty, but the thing with Culver's is that I've never received a single patty when I request it -- they always give me two patties. They must think they're doing me a solid, but I really don't want two patties. I want one. Two is too much. So I always have to take a patty out. I had to do that this time, too. In any case, the sourdough melt is much better than the ButterBurger, in my opinion. It's much more tender -- like biting into a meaty grilled cheese. It comes with grilled onions, too. We got our food via the drive-thru, which was quick. I did step inside to use the restroom, and the restroom was relatively clean, too.

I also got a jar of spicy Chow Chow and Vadalia Onion relish that worked remarkably well with the brats.

The next visit, a small, overcooked/burnt resemblance of food (sometimes, of course, with takeout, I would find out when i get home, and don't have the energy to come back) 2 for 20 in the past was a great deal for what you would get - Appetizer and 2 entrees. Well, this quick hot meal turned into a 30 minute wait in the drive through, but that's not all! My "hot" food, was cold when they gave it to me, the fries were soggy and cold, the nuggets were cold inside (they also shorted me a nugget which really rubbed me the wrong way) and to top it off the burger was, can you guess? Cold to the touch. (Maybe lukewarm depending on the person.) The only reason this wasn't a 1 star review is because of course, the frosty was cold.. thank God. So in my experience, never go here if you're looking for a warm burger, warm nuggets, or warm crispy fries. But of course, most people do enjoy a cold frosty so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ to each their own.
