Should not even get a star as I have yet to receive cable TV service in the 6 months I have had…read morethem without it acting up. Have yet to enjoy the TV service the guarantee for more than a weeks time. Have complained so many times to customer support and corporate offices with more than 8 different technicians coming out and none of them able to tell me what the problem is. On December 7, 2012, two technicians, a technician supervisor, and trainee came to my house. I gave supervisor one of my HD boxes back in front of my two house guests. Two weeks later receive bill saying box never turned in. Contacted supervisor, Matt Hammond, who was I returned the HD box to on December 7 and asked him how he did not remember how I returned the HD box to him. He then asked me if I was mental! Contacted BBB and Charter received the BBB complaint. Got a hold of guy named Harold. Said he was designated charter representative to help deal with this issue by the BBB. Told him I would allow another technician to try to fix my problem and that I was requiring that I be partially reimbursed for the whole 6 months. He said he could only do past 90 days, but would keep complaints in my file for whole six months in mind when deciding. Said he would call next day after technician came out and I said good because we still need to agree on reimbursement. Missed his calls and could not call him on number he called me with because said number disconnected each time! Now have to get money together because found out he decided himself that my issues were resolved, but service still acting up. Also he decided to take it upon himself to only give me a $45 credit toward my bill which is only a month and a half of service if you don't count the service fees and equipment rentals! Now have to come up with about $200 to file lawsuit with them in order to be able to either receive proper service and a fair reimbursement credit or to shut services off and request as much back as I can get as well as some for all the grief I have had to endure with trying to get the service they guarantee in all their ads!

I try to not give many 1-star reviews, since they often come off as overly emotional, but I've…read morereally only had bad experiences dealing with Spectrum. We've had their service for about a year, and while the internet speed has been moderately better than CenturyLink, it still leaves MUCH to be desired. As soon as you sign up, be prepared to be ABSOLUTELY inundated with spam letters, email, and calls. You will be CONSTANTLY sold to. Even when I've asked over the phone to stop getting promotional offers, it continues. I've opted out online as well, and they keep rolling in. If you change your address, it's a $50 transfer fee (which no employee mentioned to me). They sent a new modem, that I didn't ask for and didn't need. Nobody told me they were sending it, and I had to drop it off at UPS. If they spent half as much effort on customer service as they did on promotional offers and talking your ear off over the phone about why you need their TV service, I wouldn't have any issue with them. I would honestly have been a pretty satisfied customer had they just left me alone. I've attached a letter I received, which caused a small panic due to the appearance (yellow paper and the phrase "IMPORTANT NOTICE Open Immediately"), but was just about *surprise surprise* how my home is eligible for an exclusive price on TV. It should be illegal to send a letter that purposefully looks like some sort of final notice. All that to say, as soon as the Gorge gets with the program and offers a better option for high speed internet, I'm sure 99% of Spectrum's customers will jump ship... unless Spectrum starts paying an iota of attention to their customer experience. It's very expensive for less than mediocre internet. Definitely missing Stephouse in Portland; those guys were incredible.

When I signed up with Spectrum, the installer told me my $115 price for TV & internet would hold &…read morenever increase. It's gone up to $152/month. When calling spectrum they said; basically,... tough. Internet providers are hooking customers on false pretenses & they have similar ethics as politicians and lawyers. Come on, Spectrum, don't be a Com Cost wanna be!!!!!

Do not, I repeat, do not sign up for Blue Mountain Networks if you live in North Bonneville. The…read moreservice has been horrible for years, but the last few months... it's been so bad. In the last 5 days, we haven't had WiFi for at least 4 full days. It's insane! I've been hot spotting from my phone for everything. And I work from home. I'm not the only one in North Bonneville suffering either. It sounds like the entire city is down right now! When you call, they're rude. I refuse to even speak to them on the phone because of it. You're probably wondering, why don't you just switch services? We can't! Starlink is the only other option with over 100 MBPS speeds and it's over $850 to get started. I am almost ready to go without WiFi or I'm going to move out of North Bonneville entirely. Blue mountain networks is the worst business I've ever dealt with!

I use my bank's on line payment system with which to pay bills. I don't want anyone but myself to…read morehave access to this account. Nor do I want to pay bills by credit card because I want to be in charge of my money - not someone or something else. Blue Mountain Network's billing system is anything but transparent. For SEVERAL months I have received emails from the company threatening cancellation because "payment was returned to our processing center due to an invalid payee address." Today I called billing - once again - to solve the incorrect remittance-address-problem and was told the ONLY way to pay each month, besides credit card, was for the company to portal into my checking account to remove funds. Why was I not told of this "policy" at the beginning of service which was, again, several months ago? So much time wasted every month. Service has been okay but I am outraged by the lack of honesty, and difficulty getting to the "solution" and hope BMN is not the only game in town (Hood River) because sadly I am looking for a different service provider.
