I hired Sky Heating & A/C to come look at my air conditioner which was not working properly. The…read moretechnician diagnosed the problem and said it had low refrigerant. Since Sky Heating does not service systems that use R22 refrigerant, they indicated that the only option they can offer is replacement. I told them it was a 20 yr old system when I booked the appointment so they new it was likely to use R22 refrigerant. They left me with a broken system and misled me into thinking that I had to spend thousands to replace it now. A quick check online revealed that R22 is still available. I hired another company that came out and repaired my system for me. When it does need to be replaced, I will NOT be hiring Sky Heating.
