Karen was really helpful moving my wife and I into a storage unit. She showed us all the options and helped us pick the right one for our needs. This location is clean and located in a very safe feeling neighborhood. Also love that there are easy access units and a free moving truck you can use when moving in. They also offer tenant protection on the units so in case of a break in you're covered for $12/month, no deductible (or you can use your homeowners or renters insurance). Most importantly it's month to month! Super flexible. read more

Considering the climate everything has been up in the air. However, US storage made everything perfect for me. I originally called them to discuss things. The customer care was amazing. Then I came to see the storage center. It was clean and well lit. The times are very reasonable and I'm pleased with everything. It is also reasonably priced with discounts they find for you. The space was very clean, always accessible, and the manager was very responsive to any questions or assistance I needed over our almost three years of use. The only down size was that the rent increased every year I used the unit: it started at $210 and climbed to $370 by the time we left. Once they get you in they know it's hard for you to just move you're stuff again due to a rent increase. read more

This business can and does raise rent at any time. Enormous increases once people have moved in their items. No fixed rates available. Terribly frustrating and disappointing. Prices are way too high. read more

An absolute nightmare. I will never recommend anyone use U. S. Storage Centers. Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Horrible communication. From day one they did not explain how anything worked. I signed the "intent to vacate" form a month before I was going to be moving out. I immediately called the office to make sure they got it and was only told that yes they got it and no I would NOT be charged for April. Sure enough April 1st I get an invoice from them. I sent them an email. No response. They continued to send me invoices, eventually tacking on a late fee. I finally called because they clearly do not check their email. I was told that because I did not take my lock with me they have no way to know if the unit is empty. I told them IT IS EMPTY. I moved my things out after hours and then never had time to go back and inform them that I was out and get the lock. I assumed I couldn't just leave the unit unlocked... because they don't communicate or give any instructions. I told Rolando that my stuff is out and to just cut the damn lock off. He says he can't. He has to call the district manager. I am then told that they have to follow policy and that because I did not take my lock they have to assume that the unit is still occupied and charge me a full month's rent. NOWHERE on the "intent to vacate" form does it say that if you leave the lock then you will be charged. It only says "I will leave my unit empty, clean and take my lock with me". That is it. No other words anywhere on that form. He also did not mention this policy to me when I spoke to him on the phone. He only told me that I would not be charged after the month of March. Nothing else. Now I am being told that because I did not take my lock I am being charged for rent? That is absolute bullshit. I am pretty sure that cannot be legal since it is not on the paperwork. THANK GOD I never saved my credit card on their site or they would be continuing to charge me. I told Rolando I will not be paying that charge because they have not done their jobs correctly and I do not owe them. Then he says they are going to move forward with the auction process.... On an empty unit. How moronic can you get? You are threatening me with an auction on my empty unit???? Go ahead. Sell an empty storage unit to someone and watch them rip you a new asshole when they find out they paid for nothing. Absolutely the most idiotic behavior I have ever encountered. This is the problem with "policy". It creates a bunch of robots that can't think critically and just spout off bullshit they have been told to say. In addition to all of that bullshit... When I picked up my belongings they were covered in rat shit in the "climate controlled" unit and there was entire group of homeless people living in the building burning a fire INSIDE. I'm lucky my stuff doesn't smell like smoke. I told Rolando about this and he said no one can access the buildings except staff and renters ... so he called me a liar. When I said "so you're calling me a liar?" He said "there is no way for me to know if that is true" And also told me that they walk through the buildings once in the morning and once at night. So I told him that that was clearly not the case because I saw the people sleeping at the end of the hallway and smelled the smoke from the fire.
