Swiss Avenue Cubesmart Fire update. Fire, Aug. 27. No notice from Cubesmart even though they have all of our information. Two months later, we still have not been notified of a date when we can have access to our property stored in one of the affected units. We cannot file with our insurance because we cannot assess the damage. Cubesmart is a nationwide multi-million-dollar operation. One would think they can afford to contact their customers in a professional and timely manner. However, they have not. AVOID doing business with this company. read more

It was a great experience moving in and I have stored at this facility before. However in today's technology you can text your clients and let them know what actual times they can and cannot have access due maintenance. Having to load the car and unload it twice due to restricted access to storage someone who is riddled with arthritis and 60 years old is not a pleasant experience ever. First of all i will have more days to recuperate Plus the time that I will have lost getting a job completed. It is 2019 not 1980. Here I am five days later with a loaded car only to be told the space is open now and when I come in it is all once again blocked off without notice on the gate nor via text. I even went inside and was told it was open and it is not. Now I'm hanging on a hill waiting. I think it's time to work on customer service, organization and customer information. The staff on site came down after I called to verify that there was no access and asked the maintenance guys to open it up. Time further wasted. At the very least when you have a project going on check on it to make sure the provider is doing the job as promised. Being unaware that the entire area was blocked off Is not taking responsibility for your position. Update : The regional manager of CubeSmart reached out to me today and graciously discussed the situation with full professionalism. I am happy to give them the benefit of the doubt that they will work to improve the way they handle business and their customers. read more

We have stored our camper here for a year, in the covered storage. There has been issue after issue. First of all, the security gates haven't worked for months, finally fixed last week... although we were paying to have a gate guarded secure parking for our camper. Secondly, we show up today after a 30 minute drive to the storage facility, and someone else is parked in our spot. And of course there's no way to get in touch with anyone so now we have to drive home with our camper and find another time in our busy schedule to come and park our camper. I'm sure they'll be no refund or apology. read more

This would have been 5 star review except a very unfortunate experience: The prices were great, and units were fine, and the employee who showed me the unit before purchase was very courteous and friendly. I had no issues getting a unit, accessing my storage, and paying my monthly bill online. This was one of the larger units where we were storing stuff between changing houses. Closing out however, was very unpleasant. We had moved most of our stuff back to our house over a month ago, and had slowly been bringing things back home for about a month after the initial move in. We finally got the last item (a large dollhouse) moved out on Monday evening and removed our lock. I call in the next day to let them know I moved out and get accused of leaving out two large mattresses behind the dumpster, on the assumption that since I was the only unit that closed out it HAD to have been me. We hadn't even had any mattresses in there for WEEKS! I told them to check their security footage and let them know what time period I had been at the storage unit. I found it extremely insulting that they just accused me for no reason. What is the point of having security cameras if you aren't even going to check them? Fortunately we did eventually get the matter cleared up (it was the people in the unit next to ours). read more

Rented a climate controlled unit to help protect my furniture from the heat and humidity. Cube Smart had a one of the cleanest facilities I've seen and the staff did a good job of providing options and they were easy to work with. The sign up process was quick and easy. Although they do require you to have a lock with you before you sign the contract. Didn't really want to buya new lock but the one I bought from them was priced right. Over all, a good experience.
