They have charged him $125 dollars on two different occasions this week for clean out fees when the unit is cleaned out. We rented from them 4 years ago and they did the same thing. I also appreciate that they have a staffer on-site on Saturdays, as other self storage facilities do not. Monthly payments are easy to manage via auto-pay or the CubeSmart app. If you stop by during the work week, you'll probably have the place to yourself. Any weekend visits are sure to be a bit busier - however I'm usually still able to find parking right in front of the main loading area. I recommend this CubeSmart location to anyone looking for convenient and cost-effective storage in East Nashville.

I've been at the Madison, TN facility since before it was taken over by Extra Space. It was Devon…read moreat first. As Devon, the facility did rent increases of $10 or $20 every six months or so. That was not good, but Extra space will double the initial rate within 3 months and continue to increase after that making the space unaffordable. They trick people into moving there then hope the renter can't or does not have the time to move before they hike the prices up. It's certainly unethical but seems to work for them. I would HIGHLY advise not to rent at this Extra Space facility unless you factor in double the move in price after a month or two. Lots of other BETTER and more honest storage places on Gallatin Road. There's a storage place on every other block on that main road. Explore your options.

Beware of possible auction scams by members of management. I won an auction from a Madison, TN…read morefacility that was a "Manager Buildup" this means items were placed in the unit to be auctioned by staff or management. Several used drug syringes were placed or left in this unit that staff put together. It's unknown if the drug paraphernalia belonged to staff or someone came through the unsecured ceiling and used. Due to safety concerns we left the unit and contacted management but were met with hostility and denials. Its been more than 8 calls and still nothing back from upper management. Weve even reached out to Brett from the Utah Corp Office and nothing again. I recommend to others to put safety first and beware of possible management scams. Hopefully someone outside of the company will look further into possible auction fraud and drug usage within Extra Space Storage Management and their "Manager Buildup Auctions" I am grateful that my children did not touch the drug needles by mistake. This is to be expected with a lein unit but from a unit put together by staff is unacceptable.

I received email reminders leading up to our move, and a phone call the morning of our move when the truck was 15 minutes out. They did a quick walk-thru of the space with us, where we identified which items were going where (we had to stop at a storage unit before the home we were moving into). After that, they packaged all of our items with care, and safely loaded everything onto the truck!
