I rented from here for over a year. I would say the only thing I really liked about it was that I had an app I could use to open the gate with. Otherwise, I would definitely not recommend it at all. The storage itself is on a hill, so it's pretty steep to get up/down. When I went to rent it, the guy was like oh yeah, we salt and something about having heated concrete so that people can get into it all year. Yeah... neither of those is true. So many times the place was closed due to ice/snow. They do get you in with the special pricing. However... in the year and 3 months I was there, they raised the rent FOUR times. So basically quarterly. So it went from $100 to $250. Everyone I talked to had never heard of a storage unit raising it so many times in one year. There was no lighting in the unit, and not in the best area of town, so I'm not sure why it needed to raise that much. At one point I found a couple brown recluses and cockroaches in my unit (no, I didn't have food in there and there was none where I moved my stuff from). I lined the doorway and such with roach poison and used one of those foggers and thankfully I didn't see any more after that. I've gone through all my things and also thankful that I've seen none... but still not fun and spending the money on that stuff is not ideal. I guess lastly for now, is the lack of being able to get ahold of anyone in the office. I would leave messages (because they never actually answered the phone (it would automatically go to voicemail every time) and never could I get anyone to call me back. I will say, the corporate customer service line of the company was good and I always got further with them than trying to go through the office. So one small pro with this company. Overall, I was so incredibly frustrated and I woul dhave left long before if I'd had the ability to move my things before I did. I do not recommend this place at all. Sandy is no longer at this location, monthly rent has gone up multiple times with short notice, and worst of all, a month after putting household items in a new (my second) unit, EVERYTHING was covered in mold and had to be thrown out. So. After paying monthly for the duration of the lease at the Nolensville Tn location, we sign the intent to vacate. Spoke with them in person regarding.... Rent a truck and attempt to vacate to find the lock was changed without our knowledge. No one can help us because it's a Sunday. The next day we go and are given the new key.... Open the unit to find everything inside is ruined. They had a water leak.... didn't notify us, didn't even mention it when we sent the intent to vacate and spoke in person. They knew we were coming on a Sunday to vacate, yet didn't even mention that we wouldn't be able to get in since our lock was changed, meaning the U-Haul needed additional time on that rental and or Sunday "helpers" would have to take off a day of work to be there on a Monday. We were told an email was sent that we didn't receive.... That's interesting because we receive the monthly statements! They have a phone number that wasn't used to contact us as well. Apparently this was in Dec!!! Mold on EVERYTHING along with warping on all furniture. A complete loss. This was our daughter's furniture. She is a CICU nurse in Nashville and moved in with us to save money after her rent went up. We rented this unit, so she could save her belonging. Well, she's found a new apartment and the lease started. Because she is responsible for honoring that lease, she made the decision to find a mattress and sleep on the floor of the apartment while waiting for resolution. What a shock! Who does business this way??? They continued to bill us after this knowing we had nothing!!! After calling every nationwide phone number we could find, finally someone has reached out. we still don't know if they can do anything to help beyond the small insurance claim, but are hoping to get an answer soon. I don't recommend this location....do not do biz with these folks!!! read more

I informed him about what I'm looking for and the reason why. We went and looked at a couple of units to make sure they would meet my needs, and they did. Staff is super nice - had particularly helpful interactions with Karen - location is convenient, prices are reasonable, especially with the Yelp deal currently running. If you are loading/unloading with a bigger truck, make sure it'll be able to fit, as things can get a little tight between each row of units (at least at the end of each row). read more

Not a lot of details to give on a storage unit but this deserves a good review. Staff was really helpful, knowledgable and manager lives on-site. All units are climate controlled and it appears to be really well maintained. They were offering half off the first two months rent and still cheaper on a regular month than any other that I found in town. There is also a security gate with very specific coding to protect renters belongings. Oh! No long term contracts either. SCORE! read more

I'm a return customer at this US storage center. Their prices are the most reasonable in all of Nashville and not too far of a drive. Jessica, the manager is very helpful and personable with customers and works really hard to help everyone. The center has a gate and each customer has their own unique access code. My items have been stored with US Storage/Nolensville since last August. Initially, I had 2 units. I have had nothing but issues with this particular establishment. First, they harassed me about the insurance coverage. I provided (my own insurance) on the first day of rental. It took them approximately 2-3 months to get this matter in order in their system. Secondly, after driving approximately 3 hours to my unit one bitter cold day in December, I discovered I was locked out of the entry gate. I pay my bills on time. After waiting around for about 1 hour for a call back, I decided to head back. On my way back, Jessica called to say it was some screw-up in the system and the matter would be resolved. Well, sadly, Jessica wasn't willing to drive to the location to help with the code gate because it was simply too far from her home. Last month, (against my better judgement) a friend needed a small unit and I suggested he rent at US Storage since his items would be traveling with me when I relocate. Also, I remembered I would get 50% off for any referrals. The 50% should apply to my April 2016 invoice. Immediately, I called Jessica as a friendly reminder. I have called her 4 times and still no discount applied. Jessica has made promise after promise of resolving this matter and now that it's the 4th of April and my bill is due...STILL NO ANSWER! Their customer service stinks. They raised rates; I questioned her about it and she also promised she would contact her manager regarding my concern..STILL NO ANSWER. Do NOT put your things in storage at this particular location. They have treated me like crap! read more
