I ended up using US prime movers because Safe Ship moving sub contracted my job to them. All was good on the pickup side but after all my things were on the truck US prime subbed the job again to a terrible company. The guys came in on delivery and said they were going to drop the items in 1 or 2 rooms and be on their way. I explained that I paid or so I was told by Safe Ship that my items would be unpacked, reassembled if need be and placed in the rooms where I want them. This did not happen with many items and they were left, still shrink wrapped and I had to deal with it on my own. When your moving it takes some time to uncover those items damaged in the move, im still submitting claims but not holding any hope that the company will address my claims. I would never advise anyone to ever use this company. You really don't know what your getting. read more

US PRIME DESTROYERS. The move started in CA on 09Jan26 and delivery did not show up until 31Jan26 in NJ, over 15 business days! The packing crew was OK. We paid for full pack. They forgot to pack the contents of kitchen drawer and miscellaneous household items. The packaging they did was poor. items were simply tossed in box and therefore damaged during transport. The worst part was the delivery crew, their disregard for the items was astonishing (no stars). Several items were mishandled therefore dropped causing breakage and irreparable damaged. We did not receive all items and one most important a package with family pictures has not beed retrieved. read more

We had the absolute worst experience with Prime movers during our recent cross country move from CA to NY. The final total was close to double what was quoted and delivery was over a week late. We knew the price was based on weight, so fair enough, but our things were weighted in CA and we had absolutely zero communications from the company after pickup. We were not told the final weight/price or delivery date until 9:45pm the day before delivery. We had air tags in our items and could see them setting in the same location in CA for over 2 weeks!! We called, emailed and texted and they were completely unresponsive and couldn't tell us when our things would arrive. When they called us at 9:45 pm to let us know they would be delivering the next day, they also said they only accept cash, cashiers check or money order. A request that is hard to accommodate on less then 24-hours notice. While unpacking we have found several boxes smashed, screws were stripped and over tightened on our bed frame and TV stand that they disassembled, and so far we've found 2 broken items. They've caused more stress, headache and damage than it is worth for the price and were completely unresponsive the whole time. I truly cannot recommend anyone hire this company. read more

US Prime are scammers that mishandle your belongings, try to gaslight you once you call them out for it and try to intimidate you into going away quietly. Don't fall for it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They even lied at one point and said they would replace the TV they broke. They said the TV was no longer available so they wanted to replace with a comparable TV. TV was still available and on the Samsung website. Samsung chat confirmed the TV they said was comparable was of lower quality, had fewer features, etc. And US Prime sent me a screenshot of the alleged comparable TV from the Best Buy website but PHOTOSHOPPED a higher price for the TV so it appears comparable to the TV of mine the broke. WARNING!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. HANG UP AND RUN!!!! The brokers do a good job of selling you on the services but in the end you will regret it. I wish I had read the reviews here on Yelp more carefully. If I could give this company a negative 10 stars, I would. I've had to hire several professional movers in my retail career and this was hands-down the worst moving experience I have ever had. In the end the cost was close to $10K and that was me packing everything. Which I was ok with if my belongings would have arrived in one piece. Interestingly enough, nothing I packed was broken but many of my furniture pieces were literally destroyed. At least $8,000 of furniture had to go to the dump. And the kicker - they wanted to give me $89 (yes you read that right; EIGHTYNINE DOLLARS) back in replacement. What a freaking joke!!!! They hire a 3rd party claims company which makes you jump through fiery hoops to even submit a claim to begin with then slaps you in the face with an $89 payout. The guys that came to pack up the truck were great (but complained about the pay) and were careful when loading the truck. Where it all went wrong was when it got moved to another truck. They must've literally thrown the furniture in there. Lots and lots of communication when they wanted their payment but then they were non-communicative, almost secretive about the delivery dates. Waiting until the last minute to tell us when to expect delivery. Which I emailed them FIVE times asking to let us know as we had to buy flights, rental car, etc. Then they were 24 hours late on the day of delivery . We waited for them for 7 hours on the day of delivery before they finally contacted us to reschedule only after another 4 emails throughout the day asking for an ETA. Don't get suckered in like I did!! Also a shame that they use Veteran Owned to cover up their scam. Most veterans have integrity. These people are THIEVES!! YOU PEOPLE ARE GOING STRAIGHT TO HELL IN THE EXPRESS ELEVATOR. $89!!! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU HATE YOUR HOUSEHOLD GOODS. The quality of the packing supplies is subpart at best. Boxes were caving in under each other while they were still packing me and stacking the boxes inside my place. I paid for them to pack me and they used up all my packing supplies because they hadn't brought adequate packing supplies e.g. no bubble wrap, not enough packing paper, etc. Promised professional packers and movers and they sent non-English speaking (Ukrainian) day laborers who smelled horribly and that I couldn't communicate with so they packed stuff they shouldn't have been packed and left stuff they just decided not to pack (like some stuff left behind was expensive and required me to have items shipped later at my own expense. All of my household goods did not arrive at the same time and they didn't tell me they didn't have it all until I paid them in full. A few item NEVER arrived and they will not take ownership or compensate me for items they lost. Many items broken or damaged. In the second delivery many of the boxes were soak and wet with no explanation as to why. I estimate about close to $2000 in damage and most of it was due to negligence, poor or improper packaging (or not using blankets to cover furniture so the new pieces I moved with me are now all damages and need to be replaced. read more

This company is unprofessional, unreliable and thieves. Save yourself the stress and headache! To compound the initial transpiration complaint, their claims handling process was exponentially worse as they offered not even a modicum of empathy, but also offered a settlement amount of $75.00 and made it seem like it was "JUST" shoes they stole (I have the email to prove this is how they feel) when it was more than "JUST" shoes. And even if it was 'JUST' shoes, the fact remains that employees of your company stole from us. Shoes, purses (left the dust bags to the purses but took the purses), sound bar, etc. The packages were obviously rummaged through and boxes were taped back up. My family had to plan a multi-state move due to exigent circumstances. Although excited for the move, we had to get from point A to B rather quickly. I hired US Prime Movers. No review or referral could provide the accuracy and evidence of malfeasance by this company. We followed all instructions; Boxes were secured and sealed. We thought we were good to go for our big move. Nope. US Prime Movers, ransacked my family's belongings - opening packed boxes and stealing personable items belonging to my wife, small electronics, clothing and other items valued north of $3K. With moving, you anticipate something may get broken or arrive off schedule. But, paying a company to rob you? No. Hell No. I immediately contacted US Prime Movers to alert them of the theft by their employees. The remedy - a settlement offer of $75. How? Unless, you purchase a separate policy via a third- party, US Prime Movers only covers $0.60 per lb of the lost/stolen item. Note: Reminder to read the fine print and weigh your wife's delicates. US Prime Movers employees apparently did, as all the items stolen were fairly small and light-weight. So, file complaints with the BBB while consumer protections still exist. That may be the only way to get fairly compensated for losses because US Prime Movers is just a completely unscrupulous company that will continue to hire individuals who show up to work to rob folks all while getting paid. read more

After I filed my review, I received an email from someone named Avetis who initially received a rude email from me however I was able to calm down he was not trying to resolve my issue due to this. Avetis kept on contact with me and I never had to wait for a response from him. He was able to get my delivery to me within a few days. The truck broke down however Avetis kept me informed. He turned around a very frustrating situation for me as I'm new to interstate moving. I appreciate you Avetis and will recommend US Prime Movers to friends and associates because of this. I'm so glad to have my items. The only issue was my couch legs were taken out incorrectly and I may be missing a tv cord but as far as any thing else it's all in tact. Thank you so much! read more

We had a horrific experience with Prime Movers this spring! Started with arguing about the size of the boxes not being uniform, which we were not informed by the customer service rep, to one of the movers getting sick and needing a relief mover on pick up delaying our pickup. The drop off was far worse! There was virtually no communication with us and dispatch until the last minute. The driver shows up in a non-Prime mover truck and we discovered our furnishings had been removed from the original truck, stored for a week and reloaded into another truck. The mover came solo and dispatch had no idea he was coming the day he did. Eventually my husband and I had to help unload and build ALL of our furniture! We filed a complaint with Prime Movers and there only explanation was it was unforeseen and out of their control! Clearly it could have completely been avoided had they communicated with their driver relay he was solo! To top it off some of my furniture was damaged and I have to file a report with my homeowner's insurance if I want any payment for the damages! Do not hire this company!!! read more

They took forever to arrive (22 days exactly lol) and a bunch of my stuff was damaged. The two men who cane to unload my things also took almost 4 hours (I am a single person living alone in a tiny 1B) and arrived a full day later than promised. They had called and said to expect me on a Wednesday between 4-8 and at 8:30 after sending a few messages asking when they were coming, I got a call back saying they would come at 8am the next day instead. They didn't get here until 10am. I had to stay home from work waiting for them. They gave me a number of a manager to contact if things were damaged (many were) but they never picked up my calls or responded to my messages. I have sent several messages and emails but have gotten zero responses about it. I am also missing a large whiteboard and wish I could at least get that returned. This company protects thieves and cannot be trusted. Do not work with these people if you value your belongings. Getting all of your items from point A to point B and accounted for should be the bare minimum for a moving company, but that is unfortunately too large of a task for them. read more

We moved from OR to AZ and the broker, Menards Moving from Florida, had our boxed items moved a couple of times. United Prime was the last move from LA and many boxes and a car jack are missing. Tiny colored tags were placed on the totes and boxes but so many are missing, including 2,000 photos in sectioned boxes from Michaels. This is so disheartening and sad that moving companies are not heldaccountable. read more

THEY WILL LOSE YOUR STUFF AND GASLIGHT YOU. I was fully ready to leave a good review. The movers showed up more or less on time and were efficient moving my stuff. Nothing broke. However, after I finished unpacking I realized that one box was missing. Unfortunately, it contained several bottles of nice whiskey, some of which I helped make and is long sold out so not replaceable. I double checked everywhere in my new place (and confirmed it wasn't left behind at the old place) before calling the customer service line to ask if they had a policy in place for missing items, only to be punted around to several people who did not want to directly answer my question. When I was finally able to speak with someone, I was basically told, "if your box is so important, it should have been in the car with you," then told me they'd call me back in five minutes after connecting with dispatch, and I never heard from them again. Called back twice - nothing. All my stuff is important. My bed is important. My TV is important. My books are important. I cannot fit my whole life in my car (and trust me, we packed it), which is why I paid an arm and a leg to hire movers in the first place. This was an overnight move with one truck and no stops; there's no reason things should go missing, but they did. I'm unbelievably disappointed at their unprofessionalism, and I definitely won't be using US Prime or recommending them to anyone. UGH read more

The integrity of this business is in shambles, I used them as a referral of a friend during my move, I read that there were some sketchy actions taking place but I figured it was frustrations that people tend to experience when moving. I decided to place a camera in one of my boxes just to see if there was any truth to what I was reading. Lo and behold, the staff turned out to all be crooks!! Opening my packed cartons and scavenging through them like nobodies business! If the visual wasn't enough to deter me that audio sure did! They had no remorse, or consideration for the fact that I am already spending money by moving but to put me in a position to have to come out of pocket to replace things that were being stolen is unacceptable! Pack of thieves. They will load up your things into a truck and take it to a warehouse where they unload it, go through it and then take whatever they want. Maybe in a month or two you'll get most of your stuff, that way you don't notice the missing pieces until you start unpacking. Don't believe their fake reviews. read more

These guys showed up on time with very short notice (3 days). I opted for the full pack service and had to do absolutely nothing on move day. I was skeptical that everything would show up undamaged because my wife has a ton of ceramic art. Sure enough nothing was broke. My wife's happy, which means I'm happy. I used this company to move from CA to NJ about 6 moths ago. I had these movers put my stuff in a storage unit where I kept it while I searched for an apt. I had more boxes than anything (around 40) and about 10 or so pieces of furniture. When my belongings arrived to storage I attempted to count but the 2 guys were moving fast and it was a little difficult for me to get an exact count. Now that I have found and moved into an apt I realize I am missing some items, mostly kitchen stuff. I called the company but the person I spoke to didn't seem too concerned esp in light of the time that has passed. Also while the 2 guys were unloading my stuff they sat my (wrapped) Peloton bike on the lift part of the truck while they moved stuff around it and I witnessed it fall to the ground, fortunately it was wrapped well and I had removed the screen so it sustained only a few scratches and a broken cup holder although I have yet to reassemble it and check that it works correctly. I did notice that they were leaving with me one box that I noticed did not belong to me and I had them take it back. I used this company because the price was more affordable for me so as the saying goes you get what you pay for. I did take out the insurance only to find out after that there is a $500 deductible. I would not totally discourage anyone from using this company as the person who helped me arrange everything was very nice and patient and the movers on the CA end seemed very efficient as well. I will say get the insurance and negotiate the deductible if this is the company that you are able to afford.
