I like these guys. They show up on time, give a fair price, and work fast and friendly. I've used them twice and will be calling them a third time for a big basement clear out I'm doing. My only issue and reason for the 4 stars is that they are on a paper payment system for CC's, and in this day and age, I do not want my credit card information written down and stored with any business. They priced out the job that day and scheduled to pick it up today (Monday) at 9am. The two guys from Joe Junk arrived at 9am on the dot and spent a few hours here. I'm very careful when doing my research on companies. I saw that this place had nothing but 5-star review, & quite honestly it is well deserved. We had two floors, backyard, basement & car garage. They came in like a hurricane & cleaned the huge amount of JUNK all over. Was really pleased! I requested a quote through Yelp and they got back to me right away for a price that was hundreds of dollars less than other companies. The day of, they communicated very well to let me know the timeline, were extremely kind and professional, and removed my furniture very quickly. well, they got the name correct! Absolute JUNK!! I had Ken (Don't trust what he tells you it will cost) the owner come out and look over my house and provide me a price. His guys were not here for 10 minutes before that price doubled. Do yourself a favor and just get a dumpster from your trash hauler, it will be much cheaper!!! Saw the good reviews, but was slightly wary. Junk removal feels kind of like hiring movers in reverse, and everyone knows moving company pricing shenanigans. But Ken got back to my Yelp quote request promptly at a good price. The two guys were highly professional: fully masked, and not a single complaint about what a serious pain-in-the-ass all the stuff they had to take away turned out to be. They had to dismantle a treadmill to get it out of my basement--and take the basement door off the hinges to get a fridge out. Then deal with a spider-infested woodpile and a ginormous busted gas grill. But in about an hour, they were done. There's a delightful sense of catharsis when you get rid of the stuff that's been taking up space and collecting dust. And the price was exactly what Ken had quoted me. No shenanigans here.
