The owner of this company reached out pre-COVID closures to make right the issue I reported in my last review (no-show day of the job). Apparently, there was a rogue employee on their books that I had dealt with. The owner was deeply apologetic and offered to do a haul for free. It took a while for me to schedule their services as I didn't really have anything (or so I thought) to haul. Fast forward to now, when I'm on a minimalism kick and I am getting rid of what feels like everything. I had about a small bedroom's full of junk to be removed that I had piled up in my basement. I reached out to The Junk Crew. Two servicemen came to my home on time (actually 15 minutes early- when does that ever happen?) and removed all the junk. I didn't have to group anything a certain way or crush any boxes- they handled it all for me- and quickly, too. They were in and out in around 40 minutes. This is probably the best junk removal team you can find in the whole Bergen area. We have properties around Bergen so I am not a stranger when it's time to call for junk removal, but Eddie and his team really outdid my expectations. They worked ceaselessly under 91 degrees outside to clear a garage filled solid with construction waste, and all of that for a super reasonable price. I couldn't believe everything would fit in his truck, but he made sure to methodically flatten out the lighter stuff on the bottom and worked his way up until everything fit in. They were scheduled to come between 10-12 and did not arrive till almost 3. For the quote, I told them things were in garage (7'long folding table, drafting table, double headboard and a ladder). These were the "big" items and also had some miscellaneous stuff. They quoted $250. I asked how much of the truck I would get and they replied 14'long x 6'wide x 4'high. When the crew finally got there I was told they would only take the items called out in the email quote, but they could take the other stuff for another $50. So if you use this company make sure you list every little item they are to take or they will ask for more $$$ when they get there. Other than that, the guys were OK. read more
