My experience with this company was amazing! They came between the time frame I requested and were so nice and friendly as well. Got everything done quickly and efficiently and truly honest pricing too. Communication was super easy and straightforward and they were able to confirm my request very fast as well. Worked with Joe and his team last year for a haul away service, and they were amazing! Friendly, speedy, and efficient. Showed up on time, took everything I requested (and then some), and even cleaned up afterwards. Very fair and transparent pricing. We needed to do another major clean out this year, and of course we called Joe and his team, this time to rent a container. Once again, everything was smooth sailing, and once again, Joe went above and beyond -- even doing some minor emergency landscaping to make sure the container did not damage our property. Great and quick communication, fair pricing, and so easy to work with -- I wish cleaning out our stuff had been half as easy! We've got more to do later this year, and we'll 100% be working with Joe and his team again. Highly, highly recommend! read more

Thought I had a headache, then I called Just Rubbish Removal and it went away. The company was professional, easy to deal with and very reasonably priced. They prevented me from receiving a NYC Dept of Sanitation summons. read more

After losing several family members in the past few years, I find it necessary to get rid of many items in my house. So after reading many reviews for a junk removal service, I contacted Just Rubbish. Joe gave me several prices, and we set up the date & time. When his worker text me that they were on their way, they arrived a bit late, but that was due to traffic. His team of three workers (two guys & a woman), were great!! They were friendly, considerate and hard working. I told them, that I will definitely contact them again in the future. Thanks guys!! :) read more

I would give them 6 stars if I could. I was in a tough situation at my dad's place after he passed away. When I went into his apartment in downtown BK after two months, I discovered the refrigerator had died in the meantime and everything in it was warm and degraded (and of course, stunk). Think: fruit flies EVERYWHERE. We called the removal service, and they showed up during the expected window. The two professionals working on the issue realized very soon that the fridge couldn't fit through the kitchen door without the fridge doors coming off. They took a tarp, closed off the kitchen doorway so I wouldn't have to smell the fridge's rotting contents, cleaned it out, took off the fridge doors and rolled the fridge out of the kitchen. They then put the doors back on so the sight of the inside of the fridge wouldn't annoy the neighbors! Everything they did was the embodiment of professional: no complaining, no "ugh, this stinks." Even when they were sticking the duct tape on the side of the kitchen entrance, they taped down the ends so it wouldn't damage the walls. They cleaned up after themselves constantly, mindful of the floors, and didn't try jamming me on the price even though it was a harder job than expected (I asked if it would cost more because of the unforeseen issue, and the foreman shook his head and said, "the price is the price"). Thank you so much for the professionalism and courtesy. You cannot imagine, given the sad circumstances, how grateful I am. read more

I called Just Rubbish to remove and toss an old couch because they were very local and had great reviews. Joe was incredibly responsive and gave me the best estimate by far. They were here 30 minutes later and moved the couch out. Very nice guys as well! It wasn't a big job - but they were quick and efficient. read more

Fast, responsive and fairly cheap. They took our couch away in under 5 mins. Easy option for removal. read more

Just Rubbish Removal did a great job removing my roof deck that was damaged during Hurricane Sandy. For one thing, Joe returned my email requesting a quote right away....some contractors I couldn't even get to return a call. For another thing, he didn't try to gouge me like the first contractor I called did (and that is a guy who has done a lot of work in my building). Joe and his team showed up on time, got right to work and were done in 90 minutes. I was pleased with the outcome and would definitely use them again. read more

I finally took down a temporary room divider and assumed I could throw out the leftover construction pieces with the regular trash last night but was informed I could not and had to scramble to find a removal service. After some due diligence and the fastest response of all quotes, I went with JRR and in less than 24 hours my "commercial waste" is gone. The communications were clear and into last night with our finalizing the deal this morning and the waste having just been picked up 30 minutes ago. Payment was swift and seamless and I am now sad I must get back to work without the distraction of junk that required removal. In all seriousness, great job all around by JRR. They have my stamp of approval! read more

We, too, had a yard full of pavers and cement after a leak. Just Rubbish Removal came by within an hour of my call on a Wednesday afternoon to photograph the debris; an estimate soon followed. Friday morning, they arrived early with a full crew of competent and friendly men, who cleaned up everything within about two hours. Efficient and thorough work at a fair price. Will be sure to recommend them. read more

Long story short I had brickwork repair done to my front porch & the contractor did not remove the debris which was not a lot;but it wasn't a little either. I have used Just Rubbish for small jobs for at least five years. They are flexible, available in a pinch, and happy to help with even the smallest job. When a client had a sudden real estate closing, Just Rubbish fit me in their schedule, and with five guys, one truck, and five hours managed to empty and leave "broom clean" a classic eight apartment off Sutton Place. They were wonderful with a very tricky building, and I would HIGHLY recommend them for any job of any size. read more

I recently used this company to have various items removed from my basement. I have to say I was very impressed and satisfied with their level of professionalism and work. It surpassed my expectations in every way and I highly recommend them over any other junk removal company I've used in the past. Communication is easy and straightforward, you can send them pictures of what you need removed and from that you receive an estimate. These guys are exceptional. This is the 2nd time I have used them. From start to finish, extremely professional, great communicators, always on time and know what they are doing. I needed a sofa bed removed from a 4th floor walk up apartment. Another service had come the week before and spent 40 minutes trying to get it out the door and then gave up. The Just Rubbish team got the thing out in 2 minutes! Came back up to clean up, were very courteous. I also felt very comfortable using them during times of COVID, both crew members were wearing masks. They didnt unnecessarily touch anything and were very respectful. 100% would recommend. read more

TLDR: Use Junkluggers - they are professional, arrive when they are supposed to and are upfront about pricing. They missed the original window and then the rescheduled window. I tried to be understanding the first time but pretty irritated when they missed the 2nd window. I was charged an extra day in the apartment because I couldn't turn in my keys because they did not arrive when they were supposed to. And so I had to come back later in the day, which totally screwed me. And then when it came to pay the agreed upon $200, the owner says that I have to pay the additional tax, which he never mentioned before. I said something about all the back and forth and how they were late and I had to come back His response was, "It's government tax, I don't know what to tell you." Would have been great to know that in one of the many texts that you were going to charge more if using a credit card. Sounds like he prefers cash so as not to pay tax on it, but again, never mentioned. Whatever. I just wanted to get this over with. The guys who did the actual work were great. But go elsewhere for your junk removal needs. read more

Just Rubbish Removal is an amazing business. Living on staten Island our community trash collector refuses to take away the items we needed to get rid of. You can use them but they will try to increase the price on you. I called..joe told me 10 bucks a bag (of dirt) for removal..I had 35 bags which is $350. After a lot of ham acting by one of the guys where he strained and huffed and stopped for frequent breaks while clutching his back..the guy told me it would be 50 extra bucks and called joe for permission to charge. I guess he said yes and then I was told that $400 would be the new price. I called joe who recinded and I ended up paying the agreed upon price. If I hadn't called Joe would have happily taken the extra. They did an ok job...4 hours late..but ok. Would have gotten a better review if it wasn't for the ridiculous over acting. Joe has since apologized (see below)..so I increased the rating to 3 stars read more

I had about 8-9 bags of rocks and misc debris to remove from my yard. I received a high quote from another source and decided to shop around. Just Rubbish had me text a photo of my rubbish, and gave me a quote that was a tiny bit more than half of what I was previously quoted. They even offered to come the same day and pick up. The employees were professional and the job was done in 15 minutes. Thanks Just Rubbish! read more

I've had years of anxiety regarding the clutter in my house. It's pre-existence to Joey's visit was the result of years of people moving in but not quite moving out. Just Rubbish Removal/ Joey is professional & Competitive! They beat each company I found on angie's List ! Joey was patient & professional, as I evaluated my options. This is the kind of service where you always feel you're going to get the shaft. I approached it with trepidation. I called Just Rubbish Removal on Sunday afternoon, asking for a lot of junk to be hauled today, a bank holiday. Joe returned my call in not more than 2 minutes, gave me a general estimate and an approximate time of arrival. He and his crew arrived exactly when they said they would. They were clean, friendly and fast working. Joe was a gentleman and it no time at all, it was done. They came. They saw. They hauled it away. Best of all, the price was well within Joe's initial estimate with a little room left to breathe. They got it done in short order and didn't scare me in the process. Literally the best! I called on Saturday morning at 9:15AM and they had my couch out before noon. The guys were all super polite and courteous from Joe on the phone to the movers. As a single female it can always make me a little nervous to let men into my apartment that I don't know but they all made me feel very comfortable from the second we spoke or met and I really appreciate that! The couch had to way 6,000 lbs easily and there was only smiles and happy to help. Pricing was also super reasonable. I ended up tipping a little extra because of the weight of the sofa- I wanted to make sure they were taken care of. I will use them and recommend them for all junk removal moving forward! read more

Couldn't be happier, I had some leftover construction debris, an old grill and just assorted accumulated junk so I sent a request with pictures at 7:30 am and within minutes Joe had replied, saying 1/4 truck is $375 and this looked like slightly more than that and could have a team over between 9 and 11. Team of 3 came right at 9, were very neat, careful with the walls, quiet, efficient. Final price $425, close enough for me, I couldn't be happier, would recommend them highly to anyone.
