If you don't want to read the whole review, the short story is: Highly attentive staff, fair pricing (cheaper than competitors), thorough and complete work. Hire this team for your job. I was moving out of state and getting rid of almost all my possessions, so I needed things hauled away fast. In addition, my place was messy with plenty of debris and stuff that needed to go. I emailed a couple of places, including a different local place I'd used before, and John was the first one to get back to me. He asked me to take a few photos and send them to him for a quote, which I did, and his quote was extremely fair. Far less than the national chains that do junk removal and for a far more detailed and careful service. I had to reschedule last minute and John was extremely flexible. When I had a second last minute reschedule, he did ask me to pay a deposit which was more than fair since I was the one who had been flaky. He sent over an invoice and I was able to pay online, no sweat. A few days prior to the appointment John gave me a window of time in which they would arrive, and on the day of the appointment John texted me to let me know they were about 45 minutes away -- right on time with our appointment window. The guys came and got to work immediately, they were considerate about things that I wanted to keep and things I wanted to toss, and did a fantastic job being careful and thorough throughout. They were kind, compassionate, and fast. In about an hour they had the whole place clear of all the stuff I wanted removed, and they swept up the apartment. They did a fantastic job. I reached out to them through Yelp and booked an appointment for them to come by and pick up my junk ... only thing is that I was so sleep deprived that week that I had totally forgotten to give them my address. I can't rave enough about J&M, these guys are the real deal. We had a garage cluttered with 30 years worth of junk, and now it looks amazing, and feels ten times bigger with all the stuff carted away. They were 15 minutes early (we had asked specifically that they come on time and they did not disappoint!) and came with a large truck and a van, so that a bigger team could come.
