When I needed some muscle to remove a big ole wall unit with broken doors, I turned to Yelp and found Junk Done Right. The owner Chris asked for a pic and specs of the unit, then promptly sent me a reasonable estimate; we set up a time via text. JDR confirmed our appointment the day before which I appreciated. Chris and his associate Mike showed up a bit early (great!) and did a wonderful job on what turned out to be a complicated task. It took a lot of maneuvering to get the old unit disassembled and removed, but the guys worked diligently and got it done. Since I hadn't been able to clean behind the old unit for over 20 years you can well imagine the huge dust bunnies left behind! Mike was nice enough to sweep that up without my asking, excellent service all around. So if you need stuff removed, skip the costly national franchises and call the nice local guys at Junk Done Right. I'm glad I did. read more

Junk Done Right - Chris and Mike at work - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - Merrick, New York

My father passed on and I needed help disposing old furniture, bags of garbage, wood, and more. I do not live near my father's home, but Junk Done Right was able to fit me in when I happen to be at the house. Communication with Chris was amazing. They hauled everything in a quick and timely matter. And they even swept up the area. With everything going on, they made things so much easier and relieved some of the stress. Would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again if needed. read more

Arrived on time, quick and efficient service, and professionalism shown. Would recommend.

From start to finish Chris and Michael did a super job. I would recommend this company!!!

They are efficient and reasonably priced. Excellent communication and punctual. Highly recommend!!

Top notch operation! From the first time I reached out to get a quote, to the guys working hard to load the truck. Everything went smoothly. I couldn't be happier with their professionalism and kindness. I will most certainly be using them again. read more

I can't say enough good things about Chris, Big Al and the JDR team!! They cleaned out my Mom's house as we shifted her to assisted living last December, during the height of Covid. It was an unbelievably stressful and emotional time. Mom had lived in her 2600 square foot house for almost 50 years, and we were overwhelmed at the thought of cleaning it out ourselves. The JDR team came on time the day of the clean out, and worked tirelessly until the entire house was empty. They were caring, attentive, and thoroughly professional. I've contracted them again for another job, and would HIGHLY recommend their services!! read more

Professional, friendly, and punctual. I reached out for a quote from a few different companies. I needed a couch removed from my second story apartment. Junk Done Right responded within 10 minutes. I received a quote within an hour. The day of the couch removal, the guys coming to removed and dispose of the couch, called me earlier than the scheduled time to confirm they were going to be at my apartment at scheduled time. They were exactly on time. Two guys arrived, paperwork was filled out, and the couch was gone within 15-20 minutes. My husband and I were extremely pleased with their services. We would absolutely reach out to this company again for any junk removal in the future. read more

The previous positive reviews are all true. I only have good things to say, this business checks off on all the boxes: responsive, excellent customer service, and diligent in getting the job done well. I also got multiple quotes from other places and this was the best price and Chris was the most professional of them all. Chris and Mike helped take apart an old piano and various items around the house. They were very helpful and efficient. If I needed help ever again, I'd definitely call them again and would recommend them to anyone! read more

I needed a piano moved and fairly quickly. This company was not only able to to get the job done earlier than anyone else, they also beat out the other guys in cost too! They arrived promptly and were very nice. All wore masks as well if you're concerned about Covid. Highly recommend! read more

I needed to dispose of an old couch set and coffee table on short notice. Junk Done Right responded to my quote request quickly (to be fair, so did a number of other junk removal/disposal services) and offered a reasonable rate. The other service providers I reached out to offered a vague range of potential cost despite my quote request clearly identifying the 4 items I needed removed (IMO, that leaves lots of room for a bait and switch type of scenario). Junk Done Right was able to schedule services the following day. They were punctual according to the provided appointment time. No damage caused to my home/furniture during the removal process. I would use them again. read more

Great job done right, professionally, timely and in a very responsible, responsive, and respectful manner. Thank you again for making the process so easy. read more

Just got a large amount of debris from our kitchen DIY demolition removed. We used the multiple quote option from Yelp and Junk Done Right came in with the lowest price. Once I called I was in contact with Al, who was very responsive and answered all of my questions. When the Junk Done Right team arrived, they came and verified the quote and got everything removed in under 10 minutes. Both Mike and Miguel were also wearing facial coverings and were conscientious of maintaining social distance with me. Excellent service and I would definitely recommend them to others. read more

I had a lot of old rubbish in my basement and after much water damage and construction work I needed to clean out the basement. Mike was here as promised at 9 and gave me a decent price for the whole job. I was impressed with their promptness, efficiency and cleanliness. They even swept everywhere after! They did an excellent job and I would hire them again in a minute! The whole process was stress free. read more

The guys were right on time. Took my old washer/dryer away from the basement. Decided on a smarter way to remove the appliances than the idea I had. Done. read more

All good things to say about Junk Done Right! From the initial phone call with Chris, to the cleanup at the end after the removal the very next day, it was an absolute pleasure to work with this company. Chris, friendly and professional, made the process so easy at a very reasonable cost. I intended to get several estimates to remove a large amount of heavy garden bricks and an old treadmill, but due to the excellent customer service provided by Chris and cost, I looked no further. I received an email confirming the appointment the day I spoke with Chris. The day of the removal I was contacted by Mike, who let me know when he and his team would arrive. Due to traffic, they were delayed, but made up for it in how quickly they removed the bricks and treadmill. When Mike arrived, he introduced his team (I'm sorry I do not remember their names), who were all very nice, friendly and polite. Once the initial paperwork was signed and I was given a very cool thank you gift, the team got to work. No sooner did they start, they were finished. The paperwork was completed, the area was swept clean and they were on to another job. This was one of the best service related experiences I've ever had, which also came with a mini history lesson by the youngest team member regarding the bricks that were made by the company Tidewater. I highly recommend Junk Done Right and would not hesitate to use them again in the future. Thank you! DJH read more

These guys are great! I have used them multiple times to help clear out my parents house for sale and recently to clean out my basement of funrniture and items we no longer needed that were cluttering up our house. On time, friendly, fair pricing. Definitely recommend, worth every penny to get control over your space in a couple of hours. read more

I got a couple of estimates to get a two room apartment cleaned out. There was a lot of "stuff " in my sisters apartment. I thought it would take all day to empty the place. Chris and Mike had it swept clean in two hours. They stuffed two truck loads into one. Very professional. Price was good. My advice? Get estimates. Call Chris last. Hire Junk Done Right. read more

We called this company on short notice after an updated delivery date for new furniture delivery. They were available next day and took our couch, some smaller tables, plus our upright piano. We weren't optimistic that they would take the piano after a bad experience with another company, but the gentlemen took their time to plan how they would remove it down our narrow and steep stairs and entryway. Miguel and Mike were extremely professional and true to their word. Will definitely use them again! read more

Very happy with Junk Done Right's service and price. It was half the cost of the estimate I got from College Hunks Hauling Junk! The guys were efficient and nice when they came to the house. I would definitely use them again and recommend their services. read more

Chris and Mike were punctual, professional, courteous and did a great job removing a bunch of unwanted goods, including heavy and bulky items. Junk Done Right - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - Merrick, New York

This haul away company is very efficient. I filled out a questionnaire on its web site on a Saturday night and a representative got back to be within an hour and made an appointment for the following Monday. At exactly the correct time, two movers arrived, Mike and another pleasant guy. Mike was very friendly with a cheerful can-do attitude which was very nice and made me feel a bit more relaxed. He gave me an estimate and they proceeded to remove rooms of junk. They were both very polite and respectful. When they finished in the prescribed time, because I have trouble walking and going up stairs I didn't check the middle room. It appeared that Mike and I had a bit of a miscommunication about the stuff that was supposed to be taken in that particular room and I found the room still full of junk. Alarmed , I called Mike and he was very nice and polite and it turned out he misheard what I said and since I didn't check the room he didn't know. However, he promised to come by shortly and he did . Since there was quite a bunch of stuff still left he relayed to me that the price he quoted originally didn't include all that extra stuff. I protested and he very respectfully said he would call his boss and see what could be done to rectify the mutual mistake and satisfy me. I'm happy to say that JUNK DONE RIGHT HAS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE bc they quoted what I thought was a fair price. They cleaned out the room promptly and even swept because they could see that I had trouble going up stairs. I recommend this junk removal and haul away service highly . read more

They are a professional and competent outfit. Followed up on my request for an appointment to view apartment to be cleaned out. They were on time for the appointment and when I decided to use them, were on time to begin the work. Despite some issues with the building, (one of the three elevators was out of service which made the elevator supposed to be dedicated to freight use only, available to tenants and visitors. This slowed down removal of items from the apartment), the apartment was thoroughly cleaned out on time. I wholeheartedly recommend this company. read more

Mike and his crew arrived on time and did an amazing job clearing out our deceased brother's apartment. He'd lived there 55 years and there was a lot to toss. They separated goods to be taken to charity and when they discovered an old jewelry box they set it aside for us. The apartment was swept clean and vaccumed beforethey left. I can't say enough good things about our experience with Junk Done Right. They called to confirm arrival, were sensitive to our brother's passing, did everything they promised without complaint and with good spirit. I recommend them without reservation. read more

Was moving and needed to get rid of most stuff in apartment. The guys were on time, within budget, and did even more than I was expecting. So easy to work with and took the hassle out of unloading bulky items and household clutter that had built up. Highly recommend this company - nice, professional, and easy to work with. read more

Needed to have some items removed from my mother's house. They were responsive, very nice, came when they said they would, were easy to work with (was able to give them a detailed list of standard sized items and get a quote without the runaround of we need to see photos or in-person quote and they were able to do this in the early evening so I didn't need to take off from work). Also, got a few estimates, their pricing was very good. I would definitely recommend them. read more
