My wife and I used Jiffy Junk when we were living in NY twice. Once when her father passed and the other when we moved out of state. Both times the men were very professional, efficient and helpful. We would use this company again in a heartbeat whenever we need a junk removal or clean out. read more

Best. Absolute best. Considering the circumstances, I found myself in the middle of an estate clean with no idea of what to do, who to call, or even how to start. But Jiffy Junk walked me through the whole process, the scope of what they would do, what to expect, and how items would be properly disposed. They listened to my concerns, answered a ton of questions, and drew up a very detailed game plan of how the cleaning would go the day of - which helped to reassure me that they were the right choice. And true to their word, they arrived promptly on the scheduled day and systematically, at times almost effortlessly, proceeded to clear out the estate. Amazing. In what felt like no time at all, the place was completely empty. And it felt right. Family kept what they wanted. Friends were given some memorabilia. And donate-able items were donated. The estate now stands broom clean thanks to Jiffy Junk and all of it done in a very respectful and professional way. More importantly, they really helped make a difficult task at times into one that was a lot more manageable - which for me also provided some closure. Thank you to all the folks at Jiffy Junk. read more

This is a rip-off service! I needed a sofa moved from my 2nd floor to the street. I scheduled an appointment and was quoted a price of $188. plus tax. I had to reschedule this appointment because of a work emergency and when they phoned to confirm the new appointment, the price was $100. more which then equaled an entire 5th of the cost for me to move my entire 2 bedroom apartment here from another location. I just got 2 young guys from the neighborhood to do the job. I gave them $50. each and it took them 10 minutes. read more

My aunt recently passed away & I was left in charge of cleaning up her estate. A house full of furniture and other salvageable items that needed to be moved. From my first phone call and contact with this company, I was impressed that a local company in this particular industry could still have such personable service. They arrived in a timely fashion, extremely professional & helpful. I have to say Rob and his team really know what they're doing and how to make their business stand out from the rest. I applaud you. Sincerely a very happy customer. read more

I used Jiffy junk to take some couches and backyard waste, including a solid iron boat piece that no one could lift. Booking the appointment online was easy. These gentlemen were timely, friendly and reasonably priced. They moved everything we needed with ease and professionalism. Will defiantly utilize them again in the future!! read more

After a nightmarish moving experience with "Optimum Moving," we were worried about letting anyone else in our now previous apartment in Westchester. However, we had several pieces of furniture that were too heavy to donate or dispose of on our own. Jiffy Junk provided a fantastic service. We easily scheduled an appointment online - the company has great availability. Two polite, friendly guys arrived as scheduled, worked efficiently and carefully, removing several pieces of large furniture (couch, office desks, etc.) and smaller pieces without any trouble, and were quick to remove any remaining trash. Not once did we hear anyone complain (as opposed to our moving service), although our apartment was a third-floor walk-up. The rates for the work done were very reasonable and were provided upfront without any hidden fees. Would greatly recommend this service! read more

Great service and wonderful people. The entire process was easy and smooth. From Alexandra to the team that showed up we're all helpful, friendly and professional. The rates are very reasonable. Do not have any doubt about using this company - book them. read more

We had to clear our Mom's house of junk after she moved to assisted living. Jiffy made three visits getting rid of 50 years of accumulated stuff. They were: 1. On-time for every visit. 2. Polite - guys were really pleasant and helpful. 3. Reasonable. Job was well priced and very reasonable for what they did. 4. Efficient. They were speedy at taking things away and well prepared to do it. They did no damage to the house and took great care not to do so either. Overall, they were fantastic - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

I hired this company and should have known better just based upon the price tag 8,500 to clean. Mike and his crew threw out way more then I wanted them to throw out. They threw out everything from expensive lamps to a 55-in TV set to a box filled with a 30 years worth of letters from my friends and my family that cannot be replaced I can even go on and on about how many things were thrown out of the house without my consent. it amounts to thousands of dollars that they threw out when they had absolutely no right to do so if Mike and his crew are still working for this company I would not recommend this company to anyone. Safeguard your items and do not let these people into your house. read more

We are recently started to clean out my mother in laws house after she passed away and needed someone to start cleaning out the house. Adam was the second company we called and his demeanor and empathy towards our needs was incredible. We signed on with him to clean out the whole house and he proceeded that day and we continued to do so for another two weeks. We had a whole crew and Rich was in charge. He was absolutely incredible along with the rest of the crew. I could not say enough about them. If you need anyone to help you clean out anything they are the ones to go to. Great job by them and happy customers indeed. read more

Jiffy Junk - Great job by the crew - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - West Babylon, New York

I'm redoing my review as Jiffy Junk made good on their promise to come back to job and finish. My issue was with office and not the movers who are very respectful, hard working and efficient. Thank you for leaving my house spotless! Yes read more

Jiffy Junk in West Babylon NY is a great company with courteous employees and reasonable prices. Two men from Jiffy very carefully removed five large items from our basement, One item had to be disassembled so as not to damage the walls. I would definitely use them again. read more

Very professional, efficient and careful. Very pleased with Neil and Freddie as they arrived on time and got the job done quickly and filled up every inch of their entire truck. Rob quoted a good price which was substantially less than a competitors price I received a few days before. I highly recommend. read more

From the initial consult with Adam to the work with Myrvin and Eddie, the entire process was better and smoother than I could have hoped. They were helpful, friendly, professional, and were worth every penny. I cannot say enough good things about these folks. THANK YOU!!!! read more

Straight talkers. No BS. They deliver what they promise at a reasonable price.

Jiffy Junk moved my furniture a half a mile to a storage unit. They knocked over my oak armoire cracking the front door in half. Their solution was to have one of their men who specialized in "fixing furniture" fix it. It looked like an amateur fixed it. Then he wanted to drill two more holes in the armoire to make the doors fit. I refused and made him stop. Then the everything became my problem. I had to take the doors to a professional furniture repair service. I had to make the trip from Staten Island to Huntington 3 times in order to get the armoire doors fixed. Jiffy Junk paid for the repair but gave furniture repair company a hard time and didn't want to pay the full price to repair it. Also, be careful when they send three men (per hour) one supervises while the other two work. They should handle JUNK only and not advertise for local moves because they treated your possessions like JUNK, bouncing items down the stairs. Not professional and did not show up on time. I paid over $1,000.00. read more

I'm in the process of preparing for a move and needed to clean out a furniture set. I called Jiffy Junk and they were very courteous over the phone. Brian came the day day and provided a reasonable quote which I agreed to and his team were able to move an entire all-wood (heavy) set of furniture on the spot. They were cordial, professional, and easy to work with. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Thanks! read more

The nicest, most professional junk hauling crew you will ever meet. They came on a last minute call, hauled away about a third of our house (we are downsizing to a 2-bedroom Brooklyn apartment), and were always willing to "take one more thing." A move is a stressful event, so having really courteous and professional people handling the situation really makes a huge difference, and I would give them 10 stars if I could. Affordable, too, and always very clear about pricing expectations. read more

Really awesome guys that really help out. We had Al and Angel come by our place and they were angelic. They were so nice, quick and professional. Really grateful for the service. Book now! read more

I called several junk removers to get prices for the stuff I have accumulated over the years that I will NEVER use LOL, after a few estimates I call the guys at JIffy Junk and have to say they were the most courteous on the phone and took the time to evaluate what I had while the others really just barked out a price without asking what junk I had. They cleared out my basement and were VERY careful carrying the stuff out making sure they did not scratch the walls or bump into the corners with the air conditioners, stove and washing machine. They were the most professional guys and I liked that they were friendly and cooperative to not damage any walls which were just painted. Kudo's to the crew at Jiffy Junk from the 1st phone call until they pulled away with my junk. Now I can build my den :) read more

Prompt, reliable, responsible and professional. A high recommendation.

Very professional and easy to work with. Great experience and Adam is very helpful. No obligation estimate and if the price works for you, they are ready to move or haul junk away the same day. read more

Very helpful and professional. Adam took a frustrating situation and made it very easy for us. I would recommend them without hesitation.

They were wonderful getting an unpleasant job done. Worked with me and the rental office in my brother's apartment building in New York City to empty out his apartment following his passing away. Since I live in Michigan it was such a relief knowing they would get the job done and communicate with me throughout. Shout out to Krista who is so efficient and so very nice. read more

I needed a trash removal company as I was cleaning out my storage unit after 3 years. I was impressed to find out Jiffy Junk donates what they can and throws out the rest as a lot was in good condition. They were on time, helpful, fast and very reliable. I paid $400 in the end but it was worth every penny as I didn't have to worry about a single thing. Lifesaver as I was only in the area for the day! I would definitely recommend Jiffy Junk. read more

I'm so glad found Jiffy Junk! From the estimate with Robert and Adam through the completion of the job, they were exceptional and fair. Myrvin G. Was an amazing leader of a great crew. He was professional, skilled and a great guy to work with. I had to clean out my father's home (he recently passed away) and not having to worry about this cleanup was so helpful. Can't recommend Jiffy Junk enough. read more

The guys were A#1 in my book. Professional, very kind and the price was fantastic. These days, that is very rare. Helped remove some heavy items out of my son's home that is being sold with time to spare. And yes, the guys in the picture are the ones that showed up at the house! I would absolutely use them again and am eternally grateful. Jiffy Junk should open up a moving company division...because they would be the first people I would call for that service. Thanks so much! read more

I just inherited a house in Oceanside from my 95 your old aunt, as well as 70 years worth of junk in her moldy basement and workshop. Called Jiffy Junk. Myrvin and his crew were amazing! They worked 6 hrs straight hauling out heavy furniture and stuff until it was all gone and broom swept clean. They guys were all polite and helpful, always asking before trashing something of possible value they uncovered. Dependable, Trustworthy and pleasant experience, I highly recommend! Jiffy Junk made a stressful situation not so stressful anymore. My sister and I recently lost our parents and were trying to clean out their home. When we looked at the basement and our dad's garage we felt one thing... overwhelmed. We called multiple junk removal companies before we met with Jiffy and both my sister and I felt that they were the best choice. We were right! Matt (JG), Myrin, Eddy, John, Estevan, and Woody made this whole process quick and painless. They went above and beyond! They took down cabinets in the basement, removed our old pool heater, disposed of old stone and cinderblock, swept up and made sure everything was spotless and did anything and everything we asked. I cannot recommend them any higher! They were so kind and understanding and truly good guys! read more

Jiffy Junk was great. They were very careful not to damage the newly painted walls. They were professional and very helpful. Plus reasonable. They made the morning exceptionally easy. I'd ask for Myrvin again. read more

I could not be happier with the entire experience with Jiffy Junk. From the moment I spoke with them, I knew I was going to use them over several other places I called. The receptionist was very helpful, courteous, and easily set up someone to come to my home to provide a quote on removing an old hot tub from my deck. The quote was reasonable and they explained the cost was a little more than another place because they do not cut up the hot tub on site since it is dangerous to have fiber glass floating in air and getting into my house with young kids. Other places couldn't have cared less and were going to do right there. I very quickly had the quote even emailed to me after a prompt phone call and had several follow ups giving me exact ETA. The gentleman Marvin who handled the removal did a wonderful job in making sure no damage to my deck or lawn. He even swept my deck and raked my grass after!!! Then he sent me pictures showing me everything was done. I was at work and he did an amazing job! I will definitely use them again and HIGHLY recommend this company!!! read more
