Twelve people in line and only 2 workers that make snails look fast. Then another guy comes out from the back walking like he has cement in his shoes. I stopped in to mail a couple of bras to someone in need of them. When I got there, the line was short in relation to normal post office lines. I was confused as to which way to send them. I went with a medium priority box at the suggestion of the postal worker, and they fit beautifully. Priority comes with a tracking number, so although I never heard back from the recipient, I hope she's enjoying her new tit-slings and is wearing them in good health. This Post Office is unbelievably lazy and unresponsive. I have PO Boxes and parcel lockers at my apartment, yet every single package, even small ones that clearly fit, is withheld and I am forced to drive to the main location to pick it up. Every. Single. Time. Calling them is pointless. They do not answer the phones, they do not return messages, and there is zero accountability when packages go missing. I go here quite often to ship watches and I love that they recognize me and are always helpful. Yes this can be a busy location at times, but they always do their best to keep the line moving and apologize for the wait. For me I find it's best to come here around 10am weekdays. USPS is self funded so they depend on our support. I do use UPS as well but try to default to USPS. read more

Sending out wedding invites and my invites got sent back because the machine read it incorrectly and delivered it to the return address. There was a gentleman that helped me so I didn't have to spend even more money getting new postage stamps. I have a PO Box here. My packages take about 3 days after delivery to be put in my box. If I go to the front to pick up my package they don't even want to grab the packages! One time the guy straight up lied to my face saying that he couldn't find my packages- he was too lazy- so I went to the younger representative and she found them right away. I run a business and I need my packages in a timely manner. I shouldn't have to face attitude and resistance to get my packages. read more

Driver failed to scan my item. There was no tracking info updates. I opened 2 service tickets with the Miami post office only to have them close both instantly without a reply. Six weeks later the package arrived--after I refunded the money. Just say no... no more to USPS. The fact that taxpayers help fund this debacle is just insulting. read more

Quite possibly the worst post office and customer service I've received. Slow. Rude. They never have any answer to any issue. Their carriers constantly "lose" mail and packages, and it's never their fault. Constantly getting mail for different people not at our address. 3 months no mail and somehow it's not a them issue. They won't take pictures of proof of delivery, and then act like it's not their problem "they have no proof". My cameras are enough proof. Never in my life have I had such a hassle getting and receiving mail after a move. Do anything you can to avoid this office. read more

After I had left, I realized I forgot to put the apartment number on the mailing address. I wasn't able to get back for several hours so I reached out by telephone & they actually answered the phone. 2 employees took the time to find my package & add the apartment number to the box. I moved from El Mirage to Scottsdale at the end of March. Never, in my entire 30+ years as an adult, moving ALL AROUND THE COUNTRY, have I ever experienced such difficulty with packages/USPS as I have in 23 days of moving. 6 out of 7 packages were not delivered. 4 out of 7 were returned to sender. 3 of those 7 was because the unit was "vacant." 1 was returned to sender LESS than 24 hours of notice being left in my mailbox DESPITE being at the post office for 2 business days. It was on the 3rd business day that notice was left & again, in less than 24 hours, it was returned to sender. Packages 2 & 6 no notices were left at the time it said a notices were left. Package 6, notice was alleged to have been left in the morning around 09:56 but when I stopped by, at 10:51, not only was NO notice left but 2 of 3 parcel lockers were available. When I went to the post office at around 11:15, I was able to retrieve the package. When I checked my mail later that day, a notice, on a regular piece of white paper & not the peach notice, was left in my mailbox despite having picked it up. Package #5 was delivered & placed into my old mailbox more than 7 days after I moved out & no longer had access. I'm honestly flummoxed as to how the hell this happened. Because of this negligence, I have had to spend additional monies I would not have spent & actually received LESS than what I paid for in order to not lose the money I paid for one package. Luckily, my apartment complex uses Fetch for packages. I will be using this service since apparently, USPS has decided I shouldn't receive my packages. A recommendation was made to get a PO Box so I can receive packages. I don't want to pay for a PO Box, nor should I have to & I don't feel as though I can even trust that my packages would be delivered there! I have had to take time from work & violate my religious sabbath in order to resolve these package issues. Why? Why should I have to do this? Why should I have to spend additional monies or lose out entirely because someone at USPS decided my unit was vacant, even though it wasn't, or to return to sender less than 24 hrs of notice being left. And yes, I put my change of address in more than 2 weeks in advanced of moving AND I actually paid for the online change of address for a whole $1.10 but it clearly didn't matter. USPS is the agency & the postal carriers are its agents. The knowledge of the agency is imparted to the agent. There is no excuse for any of this. This whole experience has been mind blowing. I could MAYBE understand one issue but six? That's negligence & frankly, laziness. It's also troubling that when the supervisor was trying to contact the mail carrier, the mail carrier did not respond to calls from the supervisor. The supervisor & the requirement to leave a review are the ONLY reasons I can even give one star, otherwise it would be zero stars. Disappointed. Frustrated. Annoyed. All words to describe my experience in 23 days for 6 packages. read more

It happened again. Same company from Canada sends me a C package that is marked as delivered but it's nowhere to bee we found. I strongly believe the carrier is either stealing or throwing away my package. And it's just from this Canadian company. All other packages that come from the states get here fine. This post office has a huge facility and good parking. The employees are actually friendly and cheery. It's a good place to get all your postal needs met. I came in once with a lot of packages and was able to get them all shipped with ease. Their hours are good, I recommend coming in early to avoid the rush at the end of the day. read more

A month ago, this office lost my package. Now again today, they misdelivered another one when they said they left it in my mailbox. With all this losing and misdeliveries, and no follow up, do the employees steal them? It's happened to neighbors. And USPS will not deliver oversized packages to your home. They give you notices that it's being held there. If someone pays for a service, they need to honor the commitment. 3rd time in less than 1 year. It takes time to go and fill out an insurance claim. Busy office, employees have attitudes and it's usually a wasted trip and time. Again, the worst experience and only because they don't care to help you. The carriers are different everyday. We are a small business that has been using the postal service for over 30 years, Sadly, the regular carriers have retired. Since then there has been a parade of various substitutes unfamiliar with the route and many indifferent to serving the public. We have found the supervisor of carriers uninterested in correcting the problem. This means we have started to use USPS for our shipping which is fairly competitive and at least can be contacted by phone (the current USPS phone number in Scottsdale is not answered, so if they are having a financial crunch they might consider having it removed). read more

As I am standing in line to pick up a package at 11:32 AM -today there is no one to handle package pick up so I am standing in a line of a dozen people because staffing as we enter the lunch hour is clearly not a priority. This location will throw your packages away without trying to forward them to the correct address. I changed my address on 1/10/23, a package was attempted to be delivered on 1/13/23, they threw my package away on 1/20/23. The worker said "well it sounds like someone put it in the wrong box in the back" not a care or concern that this package was thrown away for no reason. They clearly had it in the system that my address had been changed and made no effort to get it there. read more

Surprising to give any post office 5 stars, but I really like this location. Yes, the lines can get long but if you have everything set up correctly on your envelope or package, the machine is a much faster option. Only caveat is you have to pay with credit or debit card. I was sending quite a few letters internationally and the folks at the counter very patiently and kindly explained some of the restrictions. For example, I had something that was a bit thicker in one letter, and they helped me figure out how I could send it without paying an outrageous fee for shipping internationally. Location is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm and Saturdays from 8:30am to 3:00pm. I've found 3pm on weekdays to be my sweet spot of no lines. read more

While unloading my car in the rear of the facility, which I do here 4 days a week, I ran into a friend. We started the normal banter back and forth about our day as friends do. All of the sudden I hear screaming and yelling coming from the opposite side of the parking lot. I asked my friend if she was yelling at him and he replied yes. I looked around the front of the trucks and saw a woman aggressively walking toward my friend while yelling, screaming and waving her hands around at him the whole time she is crossing the parking lot. This woman verbally attacked my friend on an assumption he was speaking badly to me, which is completely wrong. She was screaming at him in his face through his car window while shoving her phone in his face to record him. Come to find out this woman is a supervisor for this location. This woman as a supervisor verbally attacked my friend for absolutely NO reason. Then I had to deal with this woman's boss which is Mark, the manager at this location. He repeatedly shut down what I was saying and asked me to write a statement, at this point I asked what the woman's name was and he wouldn't tell me so I refused to write the statement. Mark then write down my license plate number for whatever reason. I hear some pretty foul language on the dock at this location, which seems to be the norm here. Which makes the conversation I was having with my friend seem PG13. Mark seemed to support his supervisor and her actions. I will post my negative reviews all over the internet until something is done about the verbal abuse my friend and I took on this day. Even if I need to go talk to a lawyer. I will say I have been coming to this post office for over a year and have had nothing but good interactions with the staff here until this day. Amazing how one experience with a business can change with one negative interaction. Lastly, if my male friend wasn't there I would've felt threatened and felt as if I had to protect myself if this woman approached me the way she approached my friend. Completely unprofessional behavior for an adult woman in a government position to verbally attack a customer while having a private conversation with another customer. How would you handle this? I cannot believe NO ONE answers the phone at this location. I get it that there's a shortage of help, but it's very frustrating when the call is transferred it rings and rings and then you get a busy signal. I've called and recalled numerous times and get the same results. I was supposed to have a certified letter delivered yesterday, but it never arrived. I did everything I was directed to do to insure proper delivery. The website tracking says it was delivered - well I didn't get it. And, now, I can't report it via phone. So it looks like I'll have to go to the Post Office and stand in line with all the holiday gift shipping customers to resolve this issue - which I should be able to do over the phone. Remember during 2020 when people would say "Heroes work here" when they spoke about postal workers - well the mail carriers here do NOT fall under that category. I constantly get notices in my mail box that items cannot be delivered because my mailbox is full, even when it's empty. The woman at the counter (Roberta) yelled at me to go to the back of the line and said step away from the counter in a threatening manner. She knew the man in line behind me and was very eager to help HIM, yet she treated me like I was less than human. I have really bad anxiety and and this encounter made me never want to step foot in this Post Office again. This woman Roberta has no business talking to the public. I mean it's the post office, how can I rate anything the government does over 3 stars?? All kidding aside this place isn't bad. The staff is usually friendly but they all seem pretty depressed and sad working there. When I go in, I try to crack jokes and at least get a smile out of these people. I mean come on I am a human being too. Maybe they deal with the public too much and they are losing it with society. I know tape costs money and they are so adamant about the damn tape, I mean come on it's fine. Maybe just offer tape and charge more or offer it for free so people don't go to UPS or FedEx. But who am I to suggest something to enhance an experience? Overall the place is fairly clean. I do like that they have a kind of drop off area instead of waiting in line which is convenient for packages ready to go. Please please smile at people.
