I was told there was an $89 trip charge, which was very reasonable given it was a weekend. The technician confirmed my suspicion it was the capacitor and told me the charge would be $550. The capacitor is roughly $30. They charged me roughly $430 IN LABOR FOR A JOB THAT TOOK LESS THAN 15 MINUTES. Plus they did not have the correct part and wired together TWO capacitors. I don't know if this is safe or even recommended for long term use. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!! UPDATE: I received a call from the general manager and we were able to reach a compromise that we were both happy with - and an appointment to get the correct capacitor installed next week!

Joe, the owner, came to pick up my laundry at my house, free of charge, being that I live in Woodland. I don't know if he charges, if you live out of the area. They charge by the pound, which they weigh at their place of business. Before leaving, Joe, gave me an approximate day of when my laundered clothes would be ready. Joe communicated via text with any questions and/or updates he had for me. I was able to do the same. They had my laundry washed and immaculately folded back to me in two days! Joe, came back to my home to deliver my clothes. They arrived in three securely tied up clear plastic bags. My clean clothes smelled amazing! The total charge was $60, which I felt was a reasonable amount for 30lbs. of clothes. This service was well worth it! Next time I need to have my laundry done, I'll definitely call up Joe at Yolo Laundry. I highly recommend them. Thank you Joe, and staff.

The owner has even entered "heavy starch" into my customer profile, yet it is still hit or miss whether my clothes are prepared the way I requested. I spend an average of $60 per visit, which is too much money to have such a simple request ignored. Heavy starch is not a special or complicated request. It should be done consistently every time. This is a good business, and when they are on, they are on. I just wish they would provide the same level of consistency every visit.
